Staging For War In The Epicenter

It's hard to go one full day in prophecy watching without seeing the stage being set for the coming prophetic wars in the Middle East. The land of MaGog (aka Russia) is getting prepared, as we watch Syria, Egypt, Lebanon etc. all doing the same, whether by intent or not. By reading the news with a discerning eye, one can easily see how the stage is being set:

Global Jihadists Moving Into Golan Border

Israel needs to construct a border fence with Syria on the Golan Heights because the Syrian army has moved away from the border, and Global Jihad elements have moved in its place, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday

Netanyahu said Israel intended to build a border fence along the frontier with Syria on the Golan Heights. "We know that today on the other side of the border with Syria the Syrian army has moved away, and in its place Global Jihad elements have moved in."
Netanyahu's comments came at the weekly cabinet meeting where he announced that the completion of the 230-kilometer fence along the Egyptian border erected in just over two years has completely stemmed the tide of illegal migration into Israel from Sinai.
The prime minister said Israel needed to defend the north both from illegal infiltration and from terrorist elements.
Netanyahu also said that the Syrian regime was "very unstable," and that Syria's chemical weapons were concerning Israel. He said Israel was coordinating its intelligence and assessments with the US "and others," with the objective being to "prepare for any eventuality and possibility that could develop there."

Russia has concentrated five landing ships in the eastern Mediterranean in a show of force  meant to deter Western nations from intervening militarily in Syria, The Sunday Timesquoted a Russian diplomat as saying.
According to the report, the ships are carrying military vehicles and hundreds of Russian marines, and are being accompanied by combat vessels.

While officially Russia has claimed the ships have been deployed to partake in an exercise to "improve the management, maintenance and testing of the interaction of naval forces,” the Times quoted the diplomat as saying the marines were meant to deter the West from deploying ground forces in the uprising against Syrian President Bashar Assad.

“Russia should be prepared for any developments, as it believes the situation in Syria might reach its peak before Easter,” the Times quoted the diplomatic source as saying.
The report came as Assad was set to make his first public speech on the uprising against his rule in months.

With a buildup of 16 Russian warships carrying thousands of marines on the Syrian coast “to deter the West from deploying ground forces in Syria,” Syrian Bashar Assad could afford to brazen it out in his first public speech in seven months. Speaking at the Damascus opera house, Sunday, Jan. 6, Assad said Syria no longer takes dictation from anyone and called on Syrian citizens to defend the country against “a war fought by only a handful of Syrians and many foreigners.”

Assad’s emphasis on this point indicates he counts on his war against Islamist terrorism as a long-term insurance policy for bolstering his regime’s survival.
In Moscow, a senior military spokesman announced that Russian vessels, including battleships and landing craft carrying marines and military vehicles, would remain in Syrian waters until Easter. He said quite candidly that the presence of Russian marines near Syrian waters “will deter the West from deploying ground forces in Syria." The Russian flotilla and marines are intended to be the counterweight to the six NATO Patriot missile interceptors, the US, Germany and Holland have installed on the Turkish-Syrian border. Russia along with Iran  is providing Assad with a strong military shield, which is supplemented by Chinese diplomatic support.

Below we can see how the stage is also being set in America. As stated before, a strong, free America is inconsistent with biblical prophecy for the last days:

The implications of the US debt crisis are not well understood in most circles, and it is not widely spoken about in the media and during important political debates. The irony is that the US debt is so significant that it plays a monumental role in finance and modern political strategy. The debt poses great risks moving forward, and yet it is referred to in only the vaguest of terms.
So there we have it, in our “creditopia” world, if debt does not expand, the economy cannot grow and jobs cannot be created. In order to increase debt, foreigners have to continually finance the ever growing debt by purchasing government bonds and selling consumer products to the US. In turn, the US must increase the level of consumption, decrease savings, and eliminate the threat of any nation posing a risk to the US dollar hegemony. Is this a symbiotic or a parasitic relationship? Is is certainly a relationship that cannot grow forever. It poses an economic risk for ALL nations due to the interconnectedness of the global economy.

Ex-Barclays chief 'Austrian' economist Thorsten Polleit provides a few clarifying thoughts on the hyperinflatory endgame (and democracy-crushing impact) of the fiat currency environment. Critically, Polleit notes that fiat currency tends to result in "collective corruption" in societies, and how this then leads to hyperinflation, despite the dangers to society that hyperinflation always brings. Ring some bells? This brief interview (with more detailed article below) stretches from the development of the global fiat currency regimes over the last 40 years to the increasing levels of debt that may (just as Kyle Bass and others have noted) mark the terminal decline of the fiat regime and the self-serving majority electing themselves into a vicious circle. Mises noted:

"The masses... do not conceive any ideas, sound or unsound. They only choose between the ideologies developed by the intellectual leaders of mankind. But their choice is final and determines the course of events. If they prefer bad doctrines, nothing can prevent disaster." If these "uncommon men" become "court intellectuals," the door will be opened for effectively spreading of false theories, supporting government-friendly ideas."

What is the relationship between property, Rule of Law and prosperity? In a nutshell, history shows that unless private property is protected by a firm, unyielding and unbiased Rule of Law, markets will not flourish. Therefore, wealth will not grow and all the other things associated with a prosperous society will also fall by the wayside. The reasons for this are ultimately based in human nature. People are not automatons who simply go about doing “what we are supposed to do.” Instead, human motivation and productivity are very much tied into the rewards and risks found in any undertaking. Yet, if the government takes away the rewards of ambition, leaving behind only the risks, then productivity will fall precipitously.

It is one of the hallmarks of Marxist-influenced thinking to insist human nature does not exist. This single presumption has caused more chaos than probably any other leftist idea. It’s a direct result of assuming God is a fiction, ie religion as the Opiate of the Masses. But, if there is no God, then mankind cannot be made in His likeness—Imago Dei. Further, if humans evolved from a random series of directionless events, and there is no inherent core in people, then anything goes and nothing is out of bounds for ethics, morality, or any other human undertaking. Or, as Dostyevski believed—Without God, everything is possible. So, the presumption mankind is just a soulless, material being is the single most destructive element in the progressive worldview, and the root cause of all subsequent economic failure

What we are hearing from bloviating gun control advocates in America is nothing short of emotionally driven irrationality.
According to statistics assembled from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Center for Disease Control and the Federal Government, firearms related homicides are minuscule in comparison to other the other “big killers” in the United States.
If we look at homicide statistics in the United States it’s clear that more murders are committed with knives, bats, hammers and poisons than with firearms. As Kurt Nimmo recently noted, “ the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outpaces the number of murders committed with a rifle.”
The facts, not the drivel being spewed by the anti-gun propaganda machine, leave us wondering why some State and Federal lawmakers are so adamant about restricting the sale and ownership of handguns and rifles, especially since the majority of gun owners – close to 99% – have never committed a violent crime in their lives, let alone used a gun to do so.
Here is the chart they never want you to see:
America’s Biggest Killers: The Chart Anti Gunners Don’t Want You To See 10 big killers
The chart above proves that politicians and those who would disarm Americans by going so far as to call for a repeal of the 2nd Amendment have ulterior motives – or they’re completely ignorant of the facts.
Perhaps their goal is to trigger a revolution in an effort to implement a total police state over the American people.
It wouldn’t be the first time that a government has tried something like this.

This Gog and Magog war,any of you have an idea as to why Egypt and Syria and Jordan are not part of the invading countries?
They are the immediate neighbour of Israel, and they need these three countries to come near Israel territories.

WVBORN56 said...

Anon the way I understand the inner circle of nations that border Israel are involved in the Isaiah 17/Psalm 83 war and are defeated so convincingly that they are unable to attack again in the following Ezekiel 38-39 (Gog Magog) war.

Caver said...

Anon, WV is exactly right.

The prayer of Psalm 83 is answered in the Isiah 17 war and the surrounding countries are soundly defeated and flee "far off".

In the Gog-Magog, Russia collects those that have fled from "far off" like a hen gathering her chicks under her wings before attacking.

Israel's neighbors are soundly defeated in Is 17 before Gog-Magog the way we read it but Gog-Magog follows very closely after Is 17

A democrat member of congress proposed a bill that would get rid of term limits for the president. According to this, there's a 0% chance of being passed, but it's kinda unsettling and makes you wonder if more bills of the kind will be proposed.

Wvborn56 and cavern,
egypt is not listed in psalms 83 and Isa 17 is all about damascus.

Forgive me, as I hesitate to respond to "anon" having had our share of trouble from them with there set up questions. But for the sake of other Brothers and Sisters that may have the same question, Ill humbly respond :)

First, Psalm 83 is an Imprecatory Prayer, not a war. Isaiah 17 is Gods answer to that Prayer.
Second, Isaiah 17 is not just all about "Damascus". Forgive me, and I say this in His Love, but have you read the entire Chapter?
Isaiah 17:1 begins with Damascus, then Verse 2 is Jordan going down, followed by the West Bank in Verse 3. Also, in Verse 3, Israel takes the "remnant of Syria" captive. Then something horrendous happens to Israel, and Gods Word tells us why He allows this to happen.
Verses 12&13 speak of the nations close to Israel that "rush in" to finish Israel off, and God Himself interceding to "rebuke" them.
In addition, and I believe, at the same time as this "rebuke" from God to these nations surrounding Israel, He will fulfill His Judgments against them as He has Written in Ezekiel Chapters 25-32. God Himself will Judge these nations severely, and those nations are Jordan, Gaza, Lebanon and Egypt.

Mrs. C, you seem to be attentive to Canadian affairs (you asked about the parti quebecois a while ago). What's your opinion on the Idle No More movement?

Scott said...

Mrs C is absolutely correct.

Scott said...

In my humble opinion of course :)

Thanks Mrs C for that elaborate explanation.
In consideration of egypt. The prophecy regarding egypt desolation in the chapters you gave deals with babylon and nebuchadnezzar.
Consider the 40 years of desolation, if this is future, rapture will not take place soon, as they are also gathered after 40 years.
Syria will be in ruin as per Isa 17, I agree. but i am still having problem reconciling egypt.
Thanks.

Mrs.C said...

Annon...sigh..."elaborate"??? That response kinda gives a clue perhaps as to your motives?
It appears you already had a prepared response? Not surprised.
Why ask others, and state that Isaiah 17 is only about "Damascus"? when its not and apparently you already knew that?
As stated, Ezekiel Chapters 25-32 are Gods Final Judgments against the nations He proclaims. Has God Himself yet landed Egypt like a fish to rot in a field and devoured by beasts? Is Tyre, Lebanon for example underwater yet? No. These Prophecies against these nations have yet to be fulfilled in FULL. Your statement is no different than those that insist Isaiah 17 has already occurred.
God had Ezekiel devote 8 Chapters of FINAL Judgments to come against the afore mentioned nations. Four of those Chapters alone, are for Egypt. Forgive me, but have you read ALL four Chapters regarding Egypt? Gods Judgment is coming to them in full, and it will be final. God will decimate Egypt, and send "Egypt" to the Pit, as He tells us that is the future of other nations He names for Judgement too.

Mrs C,
prepared response? How would i know you would quote eze 25-32? That is paranoia.
Anyway, i am not saying you are wrong, all i am saying is give consideration to the 40 years prophecy.
Let us just say you are right, and after 40 years egypt will be gathered again. Bear in mind that most people here believe in 7 years tribulation. And that rapture will take place before that 7 years of tribulation. IF you are right then rapture will not take place, today or tommorow. It either you or pretrib doctrine is wrong.
Forgiveness is for those who truly repent. And the fruit of repentance is turning away from sins, not going back and forth. That is not repentance that is fooling yourself (its for everyone)
Have a look of zech 14:18, as for the future of egypt.

Mrs.C said...

Annon,
It is so very obvious you are not sincere in your questions. Your first misconception is that this has anything to do with you or me being right or wrong, this has everything to do with His Word. Hmmm…lets see “paranoia” and “fruit” “repent” talk…all in a couple of short paragraphs…gee who could that be? Been there, done that with you before, right? Your words are always a giveaway. Steeling time AGAIN! Wasn’t a year and a half enough? Its obvious your whole set up question, was so that you could promote the Egypt “40years” nonsense, that was kinda your agenda, right? Um…and there it is…your idea aka "prepared response.Zechariah 14 speaks of ALL the nations, not just Egypt and it is during the MK. There is Gods Judgment for Egypt BEFORE the MK…that will happen now. MANY nations shall be Judged by Him, and MANY nations shall have remnants that survive to the MK…

AGAIN, HAVE YOU READ ALL FOUR CHAPTERS? My guess is no you haven’t, and like many, sadly , are too lazy to read His Word for yourself but rather flutter around the internet looking for the latest and greatest to copy & paste. Cheating in school doesn’t work, and neither does cliff notes for His Word, the Bible. Please, open His Word, Pray, invite the Holy Spirit, and turn the page as there are four Chapters, not one. Your reading only the beginning, and not the end…

David said...

The rapture can happen now! Nothing on the prophetic Calender has to take place. ITS T- GODS COUNT.

and first of all Mrs C, I am not the one gave the 40 years prophecy. You did by giving eze 25-32.
and because I am truly looking for an answer, I read them only to find that its talking about 40 years of egypt desolation in the hands of Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon.
You are right Zech 14:18 is in MK, as to why I mentioned it, simply to say Egypt future specifically is mentioned there.
Let me get this straight.
Rapture then 7 years then MK. so where will this 40 years fall under?

Mrs.C said...

Annon,
Since it appears to be obvious who you are, my patience is thin with you. Sewing confusion, AGAIN…put words to me that I did not say, AGAIN. Same old tactic as before, no sincerity what so ever. You are the one who gave the incorrect suggestion of “40 years”. You read the first Chapter, and ran with it, instead of turning the pages and reading the rest of what Gods Word says He will do to Egypt. Of course I have recommended that you continue to read the Chapters 29-32 pertaining to Egypt, but you intentionally are ignoring that, and instead are twisting words, and sewing confusion. No surprise there.

As for Egypt in the MK, of course they are there, as every other nation in the world will be there. Specific enemy nations of Israel, God clearly says He will Judge, and Egypt is on His List! His Word tells us that Egypt is going to the Pit, along with other nations too! Nuff said...

Anonymous said...

Mrs. C,
If you are talking about chapters 29-32, Here's how the prophecy unfolds
Eze 29 1:-12 – Egypt desolation for 40 years, scattered among nations
Eze 29 13-16 – Egypt restoration (from 40 years) and will remain insignificant kingdoms
Eze 29 17-21 – Egypt given to the hands of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon as a price for attacking tyre in previous chapters.
Eze 30 – the word came AGAIN to Ezekiel (Egypt desolation at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar vs. 10, 25-26)
Eze 31 Egypt has to learn from Assyria (comparing the cedars of Lebanon and how it was brought down)
Eze 32 Again a confirmation how the Lord will fish out Egypt by the hands of Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon. Vs. 11. Then verse 15 comes Egypt desolation. And the rest of the verses allegorically how Egypt becomes part of those that fall and will fall at the hands of Babylon. (note that Babylon is not mentioned that those who are in sheol or Pit.

Talking of same prophetic event.

Dear Ones loved by the Lord,

I have been reading along in this discussion and do NOT want to enter it . But because Scott's blog is a safe place to ask questions I suggest this. Armold Fruchtenbaum's book In the Footsteps of the Messiah. On pages
497-501 he discusses the judgment of Egypt and specifically by citing Isaiah 19 along with Ex29 he
puts the 40 years in the first forty of the Millenial kingdom.
I reread all the chapters you are discussing and I 'm sure you have all read by now too.Scott strongl suggests this book and I do too now. It is a scholarly approach to Scripture interpretation that is immensely helpful and healthy.

God Bless us in our pursuit of
You.
Maranatha,

Analysing waterer/kr response that as per Dr Armold Fruchtenbaum's book that those 40 years is the first 40 years of MK.
Objection those 40 years is the first 40 years of MK
-During MK our Lord is the King.
-Babylon was prophesied not to be found no more.
-During MK Satan is bound, so no evil to deceive nations
-Millennial of Peace not war.
-Zech 14 starting vs 16 state the year to year duties of nations during MK,
With these objections it is not possible that 40 years is during MK.
Objection those 40 years is before Millennial
-Nebuchadnezzar was long time dead.
-Babylon not in existence
-It will destroy the Pre trib Views
Just these three objections will not place these 40 years before the MK
The only possibility in time to place those 40 years was during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon, who reigned the Earth and was the First beast of Daniel prophecy.
As we do not have accurate records of history those 40 years may have occurred during the reign of Babylon, conquered Egypt and the rest of the known world.
Just an analysis.

Anon, reading your initial post and your follow up.....it appears a deliberate bait to start off with in order to set a stage so you can get your POV out.

We've had a lot of that in the past and that approach caused a lot of pain all around. Its not well received here now.
