Iran: Ready to "clash" with Israel

Another day in the Middle East and another day of increasing tension. You can always count on Iran to serve as the source of increasing anti-Israeli rhetoric; the question becomes will their actions parallel their public statements.

"Iran's Gaza-bound ships ready for clash with Israel - Ahmadinejad"

An Iranian sea convoy will back up the Turkish campaign to break Israel's blockade of Gaza.
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad assured Turkish leaders whom he met in Istanbul Tuesday, Jan. 8 that the vessels due to enter the disputed waters within days will not shrink from a head-on clash with Israel's Navy and Air Force exclusion forces. "We'll breach the Gaza blockade," the Iranian president vowed. The Iranian Red Crescent vessels will carry "volunteer marines" of the Revolutionary Guards "who will teach the Israelis a lesson."

Tehran's "humanitarian convoy" for Gaza will consist of three Iranian vessels flying Red Crescent flags.

The showdown between Turkey and Israel, said Ahmadinejad, "will change many issues in the world and mark the final countdown for Israel's existence. It shows that it has no room in the region and no one is ready to live alongside it."

Russian Prime Pinister Vladimir Putin, for his part, promised to join Ankara in bringing the Israeli attack on the Turkish flotilla before the United Nations.

Interesting...Russia, Iran and Turkey, all working together against Israel. Who could have guessed? (answer: The Prophet Ezekiel).

Other news sources have picked up on this emerging story as well:

"Iranian navy threatens to break Israeli blockade"

If Iranian warships were to accompany future blockade-busting “aid” flotillas, it would likely spark a very dangerous showdown with the Israeli navy, and possibly lead to regional war.

The Revolutionary Guard later extended its offer of protection to any ships trying to break the Gaza maritime blockade, but had yet to receive authorization from Iran’s religious authorities to take such action
.

In other news, we see more concerns regarding the global economy:

"Risks to global economy have 'risen significantly", top IMF official warns"

“After nearly two years of global economic and financial upheaval, shockwaves are still being felt, as we have seen with recent developments in Europe and the resulting financial market volatility,” Naoyuki Shinohara, the IMF's deputy managing director, said in Singapore on Wednesday. “The global outlook remains unusually uncertain and downside risks have risen significantly.”

Its just another day of prophecy watching. Tensions continuing to escalate in the Middle East, the world financial crisis looming, and more daily threats against an increasingly isolated Israel.

Oh - and while we're at it, I couldn't help but notice "this" (link provided), under the category of earthquakes in "diverse places", a 4.5 quake was reported in Romania of all places. Also a 4.4 off the coast of Oregon, a 5.0 in Peru, a 5.7 in Indonesia and a 5.1 in the Vanuatu region. Just those quakes alone cover regions on almost every corner of the earth. It has only been in this generation that such quakes could be monitored, observed and reported. As Jesus stated, it would be noteworthy that earthquakes would be occurring in "diverse places". Indeed. Just one more end times sign that is specific to this generation.

Also, under the title "Earthquake Swarm strikes off Los Angeles", there is concern regarding what this new "swarm" could mean:

California-Nevada Fault map".

Come quickly Lord. Amen.

Rodney posted an interesting point about Korea being a "decoy" to draw US assets away from the ME region...

I have my concerns about Facebook "security", linking all your contacts, and "dossier building"...
See Facebook is watching -

so I'm commenting here instead.

I think Rodney's observation makes sense, and is entirely plausible. However, I don't think it goes far enough in light of other events that have recently surfaced [plus I have a long history of being much more conspiratorial...].

There are indications that this may have been a US inspired South Korean "False Flag" operation for either starting a "real" war or a decoy for that very purpose of moving assets to that region.

"The New Gulf of Tonkin: South Korean Torpedo Sunk ROK Warship"

Also, it also would give Obumr the perfect cover for not being there to back up Israel when things turn ugly, and the perfect excuse of claiming "I'm not anti-Israel! We just had to move our toys to a new hot spot..."

I've read several articles on the S Korean ship and by some accounts, there is no way that N Korea could have done it....I have no idea, but nothing surprises me anymore, including the various theories.

I am interested in the facebook thing; that link went to the generic facebook page, but I'll try to enter the other link as well.

Whats up regarding the security?

Actually, the link goes to the YouTube page where it used to be and the pink bar at the top says: This video has been deleted., so apparently, Facebook pulled some strings and got it tossed.

It was a 1/2 hr documentary about what Facebook does with your stuff, such as, it is illegal for anyone to tap into your email account and 'data-mine' your contacts and/or anything else you have, unless of course, you give them permission in the fine print of your contractual agreement with Facebook, Twitter, et al.

They also permanently 'own' everything you put up there like all your political, religious, sexual aberrations [kidding ;-D] comments and pix are all linked to everyone you post to. Without 'probable cause' and a court order, "they" could never go thru your email and contacts to see whom you associate and discuss what with. Now it's packaged, bow-tied and handed to 'them' freely.

You do recall that many of the Founding Fathers had 'pen names' for good reason...

There were a few other good points made, but alas, it's all gone now, and I'm beginning to feel paranoid again...
