Temple Mount Clashes Continue For Second Day,

Clashes resume at Temple Mount after day of violence | The Times of Israel

Muslims and Israeli police clashed at Jerusalem’s flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on the Temple Mount for a second straight day on Monday, prompting at least three arrests, police said.

“As the police entered the compound masked youths fled inside the mosque and threw stones at the force,” a police statement said. Masked Palestinians attacked also police metal bars before fleeing into the mosque, Army Radio said.

Police said they entered the hilltop compound to ensure that Muslim youths massing there did not harass Jews or tourists during the morning visiting hours. The site is sacred to both Jews and Muslims.

Security forces on Sunday found pipe bombs on the Temple Mount, in an operation carried out hours before Jews prepared to celebrate the new year. The Shin Bet security service alerted police to the cache, apparently an effort by Palestinians to stock up on bombs, flares and rocks ahead of an organized riot.
After the Sunday raid, which quickly turned violent, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of carrying out an “attack” on the mosque and said sites such as al-Aqsa constituted a “red line,” adding that the Palestinians “will not allow attacks against our holy places.”

The Prime Minister’s Office said Israel sought to maintain the status quo on the Temple Mount but would not tolerate rioting on the compound.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene urgent consultations Tuesday evening, once the Jewish new year holiday is over, to discuss the ongoing violence on the Temple Mount, which on Monday saw Palestinians clashing with Israeli police officers for a second consecutive day.

Attending the Tuesday meeting will be Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein and representatives of the security forces. Israel’s Ynet website reported.

Ya’alon last week banned the murabitun and murabitat — male and female groups respectively of East Jerusalem Palestinians and Israeli Arabs who regularly harass Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount, which Jews believe was the site of the two Jewish Temples.
The commander of the Israel Police said Sunday that the force would not tolerate any efforts to harm human life, in particular on the Temple Mount.
“Israel Police will not allow any harm to public security or the sovereignty of the state in general, and at its capital or the Temple Mount in particular,” said interim police chief Bentzi Sau in a statement published on Facebook.
The discovery of the pipe bombs prompted Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan to warn Sunday that Israel would review measures at the site.

Russia on Monday launched its largest military exercises of the year, Centre-2015, involving some 95,000 soldiers including ground troops, navy and airforce units.
The long-announced war games are "the most large-scale drill of 2015," the defence ministry said.
Russia has recently intensified snap checks of its military might, testing its capabilities from the Arctic to the Far East as relations with the West have plunged to a post-Cold War low over the Ukraine crisis.

Centre-2015 takes place at 20 sites across Russia's central military district, which reaches from the Volga River to the Ural mountains and Siberia in the east, while also including far northern Russia.
Troops from member states of the Russia-led Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), made up of several ex-Soviet countries, are also involved in the exercise.
The defence ministry said the war games are aimed at testing the readiness of the military of the CSTO countries to "manage coalition groups of troops in containing an international armed conflict."
The exercises running to September 20 include 20 naval ships and up to 170 aircraft, the defence ministry said.

The international left wasted no time in using the below tragic image as fodder for the multiculturalism/open borders war, suggesting that somehow the West's reluctance to provide safe haven for potentially every human being on the planet is responsible for the death of this 3-year-old boy and the other displaced people with whom he was traveling.

The reason these people left their homes is not in dispute.  They were fleeing ISIS and their trademark hellish barbarism.  Why is there an ISIS?  Because our president is determined to create an Islamic counterbalance to perceived Western hegemony.

Europe and America are too strong, and they achieved their success on the backs of the oppressed peoples of the world, most notably the peaceful Islamic peoples of the Middle East.  So goes the narrative.

If there were only some political construct that could unite the oppressed Islamists in a sort of "pan-Arabic Islamic Union," then the Muslims of the world could take their place among the economic privileged of the world, functioning like an Islamic version of the European Union, or our NAFTA, eliminating their need to lash out in acts of barbarity that (of course!) can be fueled only by their righteous anger at their exploitation by the Western powers.

This is the Arab Spring, folks.  It has never been a democracy movement, nor is it a cry for self-government; it is a movement to replace largely secular non-Islamist governments with fully Islamist theocratic regimes that will eventually fall under the umbrella of a restored caliphate, led by the Muslim Brotherhood.

ISIS is the tool with which this administration and its Muslim Brotherhood allies hope to pry Syria from the hands of Assad.

The entire enterprise is foolish in the extreme – not simply because it is insanity to partner in any way with barbarous Islamic supremacists such as ISIS, but primarily because we're doing it all in pursuit of a fantasy.

The Islamists are lashing out not because of Western oppression.  They aren't raising generation after generation of hate-filled terrorists in response to Western exploitation.
They are doing precisely what Islamists have done for 1,400 years – attempting to take over the world for Islam, as their prophet commanded them to do.

Every few hundred years throughout the history of Islam, the "religion" has achieved a critical mass of power in a given region, enabling its adherents to conquer and rule that region under Islamic law.

After that comes the next phase, where the Islamists (who recognize no borders but their own) begin the process of infiltrating and conquering their neighbors, attempting to fulfill Allah's command through their prophet to put the Earth under the domination of Islam.

History reveals that this phase has been followed reliably by the rest of the world beating Islam back into the stone ages, eliminating their armies, and dividing them into groups too small to mount any meaningful threat.  Then, after a few hundred years, after the memories of the true nature of Islam have faded, the cycle begins anew.

Obama and his collectivist ilk see all problems through red-tinted Marxist eyes – as a battle between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat – leaving them completely unprepared (or unwilling!) to see the truth that some people, unlike themselves, believe so strongly in their religion that they will follow its precepts to the death, again and again.

The Middle East is a volatile region because of Islam, not in spite of it.  There are divisions within Islam that are irreconcilable.  Sunni considers Shia to be apostates, and Shia reciprocates the sentiment.  There is no way Iran (Shia) will permit a revived Ottoman Empire in the form of a Sunni-dominated caliphate to exist without the ability to defend themselves against it.

This is the impetus behind the tragically wrong-headed Iran nuclear deal.  The Shia get a nuclear weapon with which to ward off the inevitable Sunni caliphate's aggression, and Obama gets his pan-Arabic Islamic Union.

It is a devil's bargain that will lead to unimaginable suffering, because it is a deal made on a fundamental misapprehension of the dynamic at work.  It's Islam, stupid, not the economy.

We are watching the pursuit of a policy rooted in fantasy, with the lives of millions at stake.  When former State Department spokesperson Marie Harf famously said we need to address the root problems by finding jobs for ISIS, she inadvertently revealed the reality behind Obama's deeply flawed worldview.
This child is dead due to Obama's folly, but hopefully this poignant photo will wake up an uninterested world to the fallacy of Obama's class-warfare worldview before it's too late to forestall the murder of millions in the not too distant future.

Like all of you, I'm looking forward to our soon gathering up. However since we don't know when that will take place, I've chosen to take the position that it may take a while longer rather than living on pins and needles. There is no guarantee it will take place this fall, as it could happen in spring, summer or winter. So the best thing to do is to live day by day and serve the Lord with our lives, and be ready at the twinkling of an eye for our homecoming. Incidently some of you may remember last November when a snowstorm dumped 7 feet of snow on us here in the Buffalo area; and were cooped up for 4 or 5 days. During the height of that storm one crazy thought occurred to me: What if the Rapture were to take place right now? It would give dashing through the snow a whole new meaning; and we wouldn't even need a one-horse open sleigh.

There is always an ebb and flow to the pins and needles for me Dutch! Even when I am high alert as a watchman I think I continue to live for the Lord in my service to him. I am heavily involved in my church and as a treasure, missions chairman, elder and speak regularly at the local nursing homes. Last month three folks gave their hearts to the Lord. I always give an evangelistic message because it could be their last opportunity and not just because of their age but because of the lateness of the hour for the church age. I also run a business and have a very full life with 4 beautiful grandchildren. God has blessed my greatly! It's not like I am sitting around dreading life and looking for the rapture as an escape. As good as life is for me here and now it pails by a country mile for what our Savior has in store for his bride!

I believe in the doctrine of immanency(sp) and try to remind myself this place is not my home. The rapture could be at any moment. However as the tribulation draws closer the window or time frame for the rapture shrinks. With the convergence of all the signs now in play I am now on "high alert" and hope to remain that way just as a bride would in anticipation of her impending wedding! I may wind down a bit if we are still her come Thanksgiving. Ha ha!

I'm still seriously hoping the Pope's visit to America here on September 25 is to announce to the world "the reason" for the disappearance of all those irritating evangelicals.

Even so come Lord Jesus! Your bride is anxiously awaiting!

We know the "Season" that we are in, just as Paul said we would. Jesus tells us what we should be doing while we wait :) With an eye to the sky...:)
Matthew 24:45-51
45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’[g] 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? - 2 Thessalonians 2:3-5

What really bothers me rt now is the openess of the white house to allow refugees to come to America knowing there going to kill American familys.Anything for a one world government, killing more than to birds with one stone?I was thinking about the rapture today & yes we do know the season, & I believe it's going to be the next biggest thing. We should all be patient, and from what I can tell many of us are in the state of readiness ( human intuition ).There is no denying we are close, and there is no denying many of us will not be taken over like a thief in the night. We may indeed lose our country but Christ calls us to lay down our lives for the gospel. Seize this opportunity because the mission field is being brought to us! This is the chance for the church to boldly proclaim the gospel.

Peter, I agree. That's exactly what's getting ready to happen. Then we are outta here. :)
