Hezbollah escalated its attacks against Israeli targets qualitatively and quantitatively, causing great concern in the US. From the attacks there are several dead and wounded in the ranks of the IDF.
Within 48 hours, Hezbollah forces launched multiple attacks against Israeli targets in the areas of Al-Malikiah, 'Barkat Risha, Duviv, Yiftah Qadesh and Ramot Naftali.
According to information and videos, Hezbollah forces hit IDF positions and forces with Russian-made anti-tank systems 9M133-1 Kornet-E, 9M113 'Konkurs', 9M131M "Metis-M1", with Iranian ATGMs "Dehlavieh" and "Toophan" ( reverse-engineered BGM-71 TOW) and Chinese 107mm Type 63-2 Fadjr-1, 122mm 9M22U/Arash and 333mm 'Falagh-2 high-explosive rockets.
There are fears that Hezbollah may have also acquired the EM version of the Kornet which doubles the range to 8-10 km as a video shows a 1PN79M-3 thermal targeting system.
Additionally in another video, Hezbollah forces have been equipped with 9K32(M) Strela-2(M) MANPADS, RPO-A Shmel portable thermobaric missiles and Chinese W85 machine guns.
In a third attack Hezbollah attacked Israeli targets with Iranian kamikaze drones 'Khatif-1' and 'Ababil-2T' (Qasef-2K).
What particularly worries the Americans and Russians is not only the qualitative and quantitative upgrading of Hezbollah's attacks but also the fact that it is systematically destroying electronic warfare, eavesdropping and SIGINT-ELINT surveillance systems along the border in an attempt to "turn a blind eye" of the IDF.
Hamas had done something similar before the invasion of Israel.
