Russian forces launched a counterattack on all the main fronts of Zaporizhia with the first information being disheartening for the Ukrainian Army.
The Russians seem to be gaining ground by driving the Ukrainians out and inflicting heavy casualties on them.
The flow of developments shows that a nightmarish month has begun for the Ukrainian Army, which appears to no longer have the strength, resources and weaponry to fight back.
Russian sources describe a hell in Zaporizhia with massive artillery fire, bombing by Su-34/Su-24, and after a long time, Su-25s join the hunt.
Russian units are currently counter-attacking in the Zaporizhia region.
Several Russian and Ukrainian sources speak of a serious advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Verbovo, Staromayosk, and Novodarovka area on the Vremevsky salient.
"It is still difficult to talk about the losses of the Ukrainian army, but, apparently, they are quite high, as the fighters of Kiev are using civilian transport to retreat.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have currently ceased active operations in the Berbovo region.
Probably, the Ukrainian military command in this region is urgently trying to regroup.
Otherwise, the advance of the Russian army cannot be stopped," Russian military sources say.
The Ukrainian General Staff, in its latest report, says that Russian troops "have launched counterattacks on all main fronts."
The Ukrainian report states that the Russian Armed Forces are carrying out the most intensive operations in the direction of Zaporizhia and south of Vremevka – at the junction of Zaporizhia and South Donetsk region.
"Russia counterattacks west of Verbovo and southeast of Malaya Tokmachka. Counter-offensive actions are also underway in the Staromayorsky and Rivnopol area.
The Russian army is also conducting counter-offensive operations in the Artyomovsky direction – in the Andreevka area,” the Ukrainians report.
At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states that "these counterattacks are not successful."
