Former British diplomat and MI6 agent Alastair Crooke answered the question of whether the US is preparing for World War III.

It looks a lot like that. We hear what Biden, Blinken and others have to say... I'm not talking about Lindsey Graham. Is there a sense in Washington that now is the best time to destroy Iran?
People look at this massive buildup and say, is America preparing for World War 3? This will start an escalation cycle.
We also saw on Wednesday Russia conduct a full test of its strategic nuclear weapons. From submarines, planes and ICBMs.
They fly daily MiG-31 carrying hypersonic Kinzhal missiles. These hypersonic missiles can sink an aircraft carrier located right in the Black Sea. Will Russia get into it?
What if a wider war breaks out? I think the White House is really panicking, and that's more concerning. Will they make the right decisions?'

Everything could change on a dime, if not, what shall be, shall be? We pray, we want and desire mankind to exist peacefully, but we know there are dark forces or crazies within Governments currently, right?
American Citizens cannot depend on, nor trust, nor believe in, our current Government, or those non-elected that insert their Agenda's IMO; Gov. currently wants us to fear them, it's sick, IMO! So, we can only put our trust in God.
