The large-scale attack of the Russian forces in the directions of Kupyansk, Liman, Seversk and South Donetsk began with the Ukrainian Army receiving constant pounding from the artillery and the Air Force.

The first information indicates that the Russian Armies are converging with the goal of trapping the Ukrainians in a trap that will include Kupyansk, Liman and Seversk as shown in the first map of the text.

The Kiev offensive is formally over and now all eyes are on the Russian Army. It is crucial for Moscow to gain ground before winter arrives. It will be the gratuitous shot at Kiev and NATO that supported Ukraine by all means in its counterattack.

On the morning of October 6, several Russian media outlets reported active offensive actions by Russian units in some areas, citing an "imminent large-scale offensive against Ukrainian positions."

According to the same sources, "the Russian Armed Forces may carry out a powerful attack in honor of Vladimir Putin's upcoming birthday (October 7)."

Boris Rozhin noted that Russian troops made some progress in the direction of Kupyansk to the northeast of this settlement.

The powerful strikes of the artillery systems of the Russian Armed Forces against the defense lines of the Ukrainian Army continue. It is important to note that the weather conditions are favorable for the actions of the Russian army.

According to reports, the Russian army has launched an offensive in the direction of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region and in the Svatovo-Kremina sector in Luhansk.

Currently, massive shelling continues against Ukrainian targets in the area of the sugar factory.

The Kupyansk-Shevchenkovo highway is under heavy artillery fire from the Russian Armed Forces while a significant Russian advance is recorded in the Shinkovka area and the village of Ivanovka.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering impressive losses. A significant number of dead and wounded Kiev soldiers are reported. Due to heavy artillery fire, the Ukrainian Army cannot evacuate its wounded from the battlefield.

All along the front line, positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, firing points, accumulations of equipment and depots of ammunition and fuel of the Ukrainian army are being bombed.

This information is also confirmed by Ukrainian mass media.

In the Svyatovo-Kremenensky section of the contact line, Russian army units continue to move towards the Ukrainian Armed Forces settlement of Borovaya, namely Novolyubovka and Petrovskoye.

In some sectors of the front, Russian troops managed to advance more than a kilometer.

Earlier in Kharkiv, a missile attack was carried out on the REIKARTZ hotel, which housed mercenaries fighting on the side of Kiev.

Russian media also report the start of an offensive by the Russian armed forces in the area of Sporny and Vesely in the direction of Seversk.

Russian forces are pressing hard on the Ukrainians gaining significant ground and several strongholds in the settlements of Vesely and Spornoye. Some information that has not yet been confirmed speaks of the entry of Russian forces into the settlement of Vesely.

The situation for the Ukrainian Army in the area of Makeyevka (Lugansk People's Republic) is not going well. Here, Russian troops are gradually moving towards the Oskol River and the village of Borovaya, destroying or forcing the Ukrainian formations operating on this part of the front to retreat.

In Ugledar in the direction of South Donetsk, the Russian Army carried out several attacks towards Vodyanoye and north of the Zolotaya Niva settlement. Russian troops have captured several Ukrainian strongholds and are currently continuing their offensive.

In the southern direction of Donetsk, the infantry of the Southern Military District and the Eastern Military District, during the offensive operation launched in the Priyutnoye region, destroyed significant Ukrainian forces and forced the survivors to flee.

With the active support of kamikaze drones and artillery, special forces and infantry have already captured a dozen major strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, pushing the Ukrainians back from a strategically important residential area.

The Ukrainian Army launched a series of unsuccessful counterattacks, after which it lost even more positions.
