Germany and the wider West have been shocked by a video released a few hours ago showing the losses of the Ukrainian Army in the settlements of Urozain and Staromayosk.
The video shows the destruction of 31 (!) Ukrainian tanks in a single battle for a settlement!
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost 31 units of military equipment in the battles for the village of Staromayosk alone, including 23 mine-protected armored vehicles, which were given to them by NATO countries," reports the German newspaper Bild .

It is also reported that the strategy of the Russian military is to destroy as many armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as possible. At the same time, Moscow is aware of Kiev's problems related to the repair and replacement of lost equipment.
Bild concludes that such a huge loss of equipment will soon force the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to go on the defensive.
In late July, Western armored vehicles reappeared on the contact line in the Zaporizhia and South Donetsk sectors. However, already on the first day, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 7 Leopard 2A6 tanks and 10 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed.
On the other hand, the Russians comment that 23 were armored, 2 were tanks and 5 were infantry vehicles.

Footage of the destruction of a "NATO phalanx" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Urozain shocked Ukrainian military analysts and the media.
“The video shows a phalanx of the 37th Brigade, which was tasked with moving from Urozain to Kermenchik.
The enemy (Russian Armed Forces) watched her all the way, the preparation of our artillery is also not visible in the footage.
It is not clear why the phalanx was left without cover when, in fact, it was a one-way road," Ukrainian military analysts quoted by Kiev media reported.
The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to at least a dozen people, the Ukrainians write.
The Russians are talking about 7,000 Ukrainian losses for the two settlements of Urozain and Staromayosk.
Units of the 137th Separate Marine Battalion, 35th Marine Brigade, 35th and 38th Marine Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the 4th Separate Tank Brigade fought in the area.
