Russian forces again launched large-scale missile and drone attacks on multiple targets in Kyiv, as the Kremlin pushes for a strong position in upcoming ceasefire negotiations, which it suggested today could begin soon in Istanbul.
A large prisoner exchange was completed yesterday — 1,000 for 1,000. The exchange was facilitated by Turkey.
The Russian Ministry of Defense declared Russia expects that the prisoner exchange will create a favorable atmosphere for discussing a settlement to the Ukrainian crisis.
The probable venue for the second round of direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine is Istanbul, reported Russian state news agency TASS.
Below, residents of Kyiv flee to underground metro for shelter in the face of missile and drone volleys.
German media reports the Kremlin is preparing for a massive push into Ukraine from current positions as peace talks possibly proceed. 50,000 Russian forces are allegedly massed in regions north of Donbass.

How can Russia launch hundreds of missiles and only kill a dozen people? Either they are the worst shot in the world OR they are the best shot in the world.
