Video

Powerful solar flares have suddenly exploded on the Earth-facing side of the Sun, triggering various radio blackouts across the globe. The strongest solar flare yet has been a 1.1 x-class flare, but there have also been 4 M-class flares, and likely more coming soon as we have Mercury performing a superior conjunction with the Sun - a Mercury Cazimi - on May 29-30th, 2025, just days after Saturn enters Aries.
