6.5 Quake Hits British Columbia (?) - Or Did It?

6.5 Quake Hits British Columbia, Canada
\

An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 struck about 164 km (101.9 miles) south-southeast of Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake was at a depth of 15 kilometers (9.3 miles), USGS added.

A government seismologist says a magnitude 6.5 earthquake reported in British Columbia on Monday never happened.

Alison Bird of Natural Resources Canada says a computer glitch led to the erroneous report from the United States Geological Survey.

She says there was no earthquake 165 kilometres southeast of Kitimat on Monday afternoon.

Bird says the automated system isn’t perfect at processing data.

She says it’s possible that two small quakes at different locations were detected as one event.

Posts about the false alarm on the American agency’s website have been deleted.

There has been a major "incident" in British Columbia, Canada which initially registered as a Magnitude 6.5 Earthquake.  That Earthquake report generated ALERTS thru the US Geological Survey automated system - which now reports "Incident deleted."

How does a 6.5 "earthquake" get "deleted" unless . . . it isn't an earthquake?

What if it was . . . . an explosion?

Did the USA nuke Chinese troops massing in British Columbia?

The initial ALERT transmitted by the automated US Geological Survey (USGS) earthquake alert system indicated a Magnitude 6.5 Quake took place at 21:17 on 09/06  (UTC)  at a depth of 15km, 164.7 km SSE of Kitimat, Canada

The ALERT hit my cellular phone eight minutes later at :25 after the hour.  That ALERT included a link to the USGS incident on their web site:

go.usa.gov/xMYNq 8def3

That shortened link to me to a regular URL which is:

https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/ak021bg5fopw/executive?utm_medium=email&utm_source=ENS&utm_campaign=realtime

Clicking that gets you to the report page for a 6.5 quake, with all details ERASED!

Clicking that link got me to a traditional report page on the USGS web site, but a strange message:

"This alert was falsely reported by an automatic system.   It was quickly confirmed to be false and manually deleted.  We will update this page when wwe know details of the error."

It even got mentioned on social media and in the legacy press, Canada's Globe and Mail:

My thoughts are with the people of #Canada after a 6.5 #earthquake strikes near #Kitimat, B.C. I hope everyone is safe & there are no damages ⁦🇻🇪🇨🇦

Even the Jerusalem Post in Israel covered it:

What's most interesting to me about the ERASURE of the report, is the speed with which it took place . . . within minutes . . . . after 5:00 PM eastern US time on the Monday of the Labor Day Weekend Holiday . . . . when almost everyone is away enjoying the last official weekend of summer.

Strange the USGS can respond that fast.  Unless of course, they were TOLD to . . .

Just three days ago, reports came in from (of all places) North Dakota, with video showing trainloads of M1A2 Abrams Tanks and armored personnel carriers (APC's) being transported by rail to the west . . . toward the US West Coast, but very far north.   Inquiry to the Pentagon about where those tanks were going, was NEVER ANSWERED.  That story (HERE) remains a mystery.

Now, just three days later, initial reports of a major earthquake . . . which vanishes.

Could we already be at war with China?
