So what's going on in Australia right now is straight out of a creepy dystopian pandemic movie:
Sydney has been in lockdown for two months, while Melbourne and the capital, Canberra, went into lockdown earlier this month. Under the rules of the lockdown, people are mostly confined to their homes and have limits placed on their social interactions.
Because we all know by now that Australia has become the world leader in authoritarianism when it comes to Covid measures. They've got it all: travel restrictions, mandatory quarantine, curfews, outdoor mask mandates, you name it.
They also yelled at their citizens this week for watching the sunset. Seriously.
It's why the people of Australia are fed up.
Naturally, several anti-lockdown protests took place earlier today in Australia, and the scenes are pretty ugly.
(Oh, Just a reminder that less than 100 people have died with Covid since last October in the entire nation.)
