Glen Beck: U.S. State Dept Is Blocking Attempts To Rescue Afghan Christians

Glenn Beck said on Thursday that the State Department has been blocking his efforts to rescue Christian Afghans from potential persecution under Taliban rule – even though they face being burned alive over their religion.

Through his organization, the Nazarene Fund, Beck has helped pull 5,100 Christians and families that could be persecuted from the country in the last several days.

But, he told FOX News host Tucker Carlson on Thursday, he has faced a lot of problems trying to get the refugees to safety from the United States State Department.

Beck also said Islamic countries – which he refused to name over fears of US government meddling – had been far more welcoming to the people he’d saved than America.

The broadcaster said this morning he had about 500 refugees – mainly women and children – get through the gate to board one of the Nazarene Fund’s flights, only to be told by a United States soldier to go back.

‘We believe that our state department is directly responsible for what we believe were some of these people,’ Beck said. ‘I don’t know how many survived.’

‘The State Department has blocked us every step of the way,’ he continued.

‘The State Department and the White House have been the biggest problem,’ he said, even as other countries tried to coordinate on the efforts

Glenn Beck said the State Department has been blocking his efforts to free Christian Afghans, who could face persecution under the Taliban

‘We have to send people into even greater danger to try to smuggle these Christians out who are marked not just for death, but to be set on fire alive because they are converted Christians.’

His organization is now working to set up refugee camps in two other countries, he said, but he did not want to name them ‘because I’m afraid our state department will call them and threaten them.’

‘It’s really really interesting,’ Beck then mused. ‘We have open borders and closed airports. One group of people are exploited, raped, and killed by drug cartels and the other group of people are raped, exploited or crucified by terrorists.

Dan Crenshaw, Lara Logan Bring the Most Disturbing Reports Out of the Kabul Airport Yet

Bryan Preston

Both Logan and Crenshaw are independently reporting that Americans have been turned away from safety at that airport over the past couple of days.

Logan posted this tweet Saturday afternoon:

Most Americans don’t understand what’s happening in Kabul - been on this all night again w no end. US citizens are fighting through enemy lines to get to the airport. When they show their blue passport to 82nd soldiers at the gate, many are turned away & sent back to the Taliban.

The “82nd soldiers” refers to the 82nd Airborne, which Joe Biden ordered into Kabul to defend the airport and facilitate the mass evacuation as the situation collapsed.

Logan added in a subsequent tweet that “All that stands between these Americans & safety/home is the US govt & military.”

So many questions arise from the possibility that Americans are being turned back from the gates at Kabul airport, but the Democrat-controlled Congress was gaveled out of session and is not in Washington to convene any hearings.

Update: Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) says the State Department is not helping.

They have been beaten by the Taliban at check points and told to leave and come back with large sums of money. Biden is going to get them killed! Enough!! We have put someone who gives a damn in charge RIGHT NOW!

The State Department, headed by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, is in charge of the evacuation effort. The Pentagon is subordinate to State in Kabul, and if soldiers are turning Americans away at the airport, it would be under State’s orders.

“The Opposite of Dunkirk” – Erik Prince: Biden Regime Is Telling Local Governments Not to Cooperate with Private Contractors Rescuing Americans in Afghanistan (VIDEO)

 Jim Hoft

Private security company Blackwater founder Erik Prince called in this morning to The War Room with Steve Bannon. Prince and his team are currently working to rescue Americans, US allies and minorities from Afghanistan before the the US pulls out of Kabul Afghanistan on August 31st.

Erik Prince called from a location near Afghanistan where he is working to save Americans and Afghan allies.

Prince told Steve Bannon the Biden Administration is actively working to thwart his team’s rescue efforts in Afghanistan today.

Erik Prince: They are telling governments in the area not to cooperate with these private organizations. It’s the opposite of Dunkirk…. It’s wrong. It’s the opposite of what this nation was built on… Instead of tailwinds there are headwinds.

This is beyond incompetence. This is just evil.
