Pentagon Insists More Troops Needed To Counter 'Russian Threat' In Europe, Russia's New Zircon Hypersonic Missile: 'Unstoppable...Unbeatable...Undefendable'

Pentagon Insists More Troops Needed to Counter ‘Russian Threat’ in Europe

Military officials continue to play the spooky Russian card in order to lobby for more political, economic and strategic support from leaders in Washington.

US European Command is in "need" of a "greater force" to deter Russia from invading the rest of Europe, Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti testified before the US House Armed Services Committee on March 28.
The additional forces could come in the form of an armored division of ground troops combined with reallocating sea-based assets closer to Russia.
This isn’t the first time the Pentagon has played on lawmakers’ fears to ask for more money – and is probably not the last, either.
"I am suggesting an additional division because … I need armored and mechanized brigades," Scaparrotti continued.
"They," Scaparrotti continued, referring to Russia, "are using similar weapon systems that can either be conventional or nuclear … and secondly, within their doctrine, they have made the statement openly again that they see a use for nuclear tactical capabilities within what we would consider a conventional conflict."
The general’s comments come on the heels of massive ground force deploymentsby NATO and the US – the largest since World War II – on January 31, Sputnik reported.
The US maintains that the troops are there to present a credible deterrence to what US officials allege is a Russian fervor for military aggression – even though US President Donald Trump’s defense budget increase of $54 billion alone makes up 80 percent of what Russia spends on its military annually.

As President Trump ratchets up the U.S. military in his latest budget proposal, his counterpart, Russian President Vladimir Putin, has reportedly created a hypersonic missile with such devastating implications for the U.S. Navy, that it is being called “unstoppable.”

Russia claims to have created a devastating hypersonic missile that travels five times faster than the speed of sound and could rip through navy warship defences because it’s too fast to stop.

The Kremlin’s Zircon missile has been called “unstoppable”, “unbeatable” and “undefendable” with a 4,600mph speed that only one defence system in the world can destroy – that system is owned by Russia.

A statement released on Wednesday at the Arab Summit, which convened in Jordan, emphasized the readiness of the Arab world to promote a peace agreement with Israel on the basis of the 2002 Arab peace initiative.

The main points of the statement, which was read by Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, are as follows:

  • Continued actions to revive the Israeli-Palestinian Arab peace negotiations in order to set a specific timetable for ending the conflict based on the two-state solution that will ensure the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with eastern Jerusalem as its capital.

  • The two-state solution is the only way to achieve security and stability.

  • Total and permanent peace is an Arab strategic choice that was expressed in the 2002 Arab peace initiative.

  • Opposition to all unilateral Israeli measures aimed at changing the reality on the ground, thwarting the two-state solution, and changing the legal and historical status of the holy sites of Islam and Christianity in Jerusalem.

The statement is a summary of a resolution adopted earlier this week by Arab foreign ministers.

By referring to “unilateral measures”, the resolution seemingly refers to the possible move of the American embassy to Jerusalem, a move sharply opposed by Arab leaders.
The Arab peace initiative, unveiled in 2002 and re-endorsed at the 2007 Arab League summit, says that 22 Arab countries will normalize ties with Israel in return for an Israeli withdrawal from Judea and Samaria.

Israel to date has rejected the plan due to the fact that it calls for Israel to accept the so-called "right of return" for millions of descendants of Arabs who fled pre-state Israel, effectively bringing an end to the Jewish state.

Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir last year said the initiative is the best solution for the conflict, and rejected Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's demand that the initiative be updated.

The Establishment is setting up Donald Trump.
The mainstream media hates him. Hollywood hates him. The “Intellectual Yet Idiot” academia class hates him.
Most critically, the CIA hates him. So does the rest of the Deep State, or the permanently entrenched “national security” bureaucracy. They did everything possible to stop Trump from taking office. None of it worked.
I think the CIA hates Trump for a very simple reason: he’s threatening to take away their livelihood.
Trump wants to make nice with Putin and the Russians. But countering the so-called “Russian threat” is how many thousands of Deep State bureaucrats make a living.
These people feed off the trough of the $1 trillion-plus military/security budget. Playing nice with the Russians would kill their jobs—and end their way of life.

Trump has said:
We will pursue a new foreign policy that finally learns from the mistakes of the past. We will stop looking to topple regimes and overthrow governments.

Toppling regimes is the CIA’s bread and butter. No wonder they hate him.

Of course, the feeling is mutual. Trump has used plenty of sharp words to describe the “intelligence community.” He’s reportedly aiming to fundamentally restructure the CIA.

John F. Kennedy’s Battle with the CIA
Donald Trump is the first president since John F. Kennedy to openly take on the CIA.
After being suckered into the Bay of Pigs disaster in Cuba, JFK said he wanted "to splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds."
Kennedy fired CIA Director Allen Dulles. But that was about as far as he got.
JFK, of course, failed to break the Deep State’s grasp on power. In an ironic twist, Allen Dulles would later be appointed to the Warren Commission to investigate Kennedy’s assassination.

The CIA is the undisputed all-time world champion of orchestrating coups. And right now, Trump is squarely on its radar…

How the Deep State Will Take Down Trump

The way I see it, the Deep State has three main cards to play against Trump. If one doesn’t work, they’ll move on to the next one.
  1. The Delegitimization Card
  2. The Herbert Hoover Card
  3. The John F. Kennedy Card

A federal complaint was unsealed today charging Candace Marie Claiborne, 60, of Washington, D.C., and an employee of the U.S. Department of State, with obstructing an official proceeding and making false statements to the FBI, both felony offenses, for allegedly concealing numerous contacts that she had over a period of years with foreign intelligence agents.

The charges were announced by Acting Assistant Attorney General Mary B. McCord for National Security, U.S. Attorney Channing D. Phillips of the District of Columbia and Assistant Director in Charge Andrew W. Vale of the FBI’s Washington Field Office.

“Candace Marie Claiborne is a U.S. State Department employee who possesses a Top Secret security clearance and allegedly failed to report her contacts with Chinese foreign intelligence agents who provided her with thousands of dollars of gifts and benefits,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General McCord. “Claiborne used her position and her access to sensitive diplomatic data for personal profit. Pursuing those who imperil our national security for personal gain will remain a key priority of the National Security Division.”

“Candace Claiborne is charged with obstructing an official proceeding and making false statements in connection with her alleged concealment and failure to report her improper connections to foreign contacts along with the tens of thousands of dollars in gifts and benefits they provided,” said U.S. Attorney Phillips. “As a State Department employee with a Top Secret clearance, she received training and briefing about the need for caution and transparency. This case demonstrates that U.S. government employees will be held accountable for failing to honor the trust placed in them when they take on such sensitive assignments”

The FBI arrested Claiborne on March 28. She made her first appearance this afternoon in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
