Boris Johnson Calls For NATO Troops On The Ground In Ukraine Yet Again

After months of rumors surrounding possible peace talks in Turkey that might have ended the war in Ukraine not long after it reignited in 2022, multiple sources confirmed that British Politician and former PM Boris Johnson showed up in Kyiv to dismiss the negotiations and told the Ukrainians "let's just fight".  These sources include David Arahamiya, the leader of Ukraine’s ruling party, Tory MP Nadine Dorries and Vladimir Putin himself.

Putin reiterated in his interview with Tucker Carlson that Russia supports a negotiated settlement with Ukraine, and plans were very much underway to making that happen before Boris Johnson stopped it.

Johnson continues to deny the peace deal claims and "fact checkers" engage in extensive mental gymnastics to argue that there was no "official deal" put to paper, therefore Johnson didn't sabotage anything.  In other words, if a politician ruins a peace deal in its infancy before it is drafted then he's not culpable for the war that follows. 

The bottom line? Johnson, a prominent British official with ties to NATO, showed up in the middle of early negotiations and told the Ukrainians to fight instead of pursuing peace.  This alone would have given the Ukrainians a false sense of security that NATO forces would intervene and fight for them.

Boris Johnson would go on to promote a surge in military recruitment in the UK, and supported calls for conscription from military officials.  He has also suggested NATO boots on the ground in the region on multiple occasions - A move that would immediately be seen by Russia as an escalation to world war.

In a recent interview with the Daily Telegraph, the former British PM promoted the idea of British forces entering Ukraine as a part of a "peacekeeping plan."  

The presence of any NATO country's troops in Ukraine, even those not on the front line, would be seen as a tip-toe towards direct confrontation by the Kremlin.  

In early November, Johnson argued that if Donald Trump pulled US support for Ukraine in order to force a peace deal, Britain might send troops into the fray.  

The argument sounds like a thinly veiled threat:  If the US tries to force a peace deal, then Britain will send troops, escalate the war and ensure that no peace is possible.   

Johnson also asserted that if Russia gets the upper hand in the conflict then Britain may deploy it's forces regardless in order to "defend Europe."  Ukraine's eastern defenses are currently being overrun by ongoing Russian attrition tactics.  This reality in combination with Trump's avalanche election win seems to have triggered establishment ghouls into a frenzy of escalation with Joe Biden giving the greenlight on long range missile strikes coordinated directly by NATO forces.   

The majority of the US and European public have confirmed time and time again that they will not support direct conflict with Russia.  They will not volunteer to fight in such a war and will not submit to military conscription.  Around 70% of Americans say they prefer negotiations to end the war.  Only 10% of Europeans believe Ukraine can win and 52% of Ukrainians say they want negotiations and a quick end to the war.   Despite this, establishment politicians continue to ignore the overwhelming calls for peace in Ukraine.

Things are heating up on the war front as Adm. Rob Bauer, the head of NATO’s military committee, has revealed that as it concerns Russia and the war in Ukraine, the West is now shifting from defense to offense mode.

In a recent speech – watch below – Bauer explained how NATO will conduct “precision strikes” on Russia as necessary to protect its interests, regardless of what Vladimir Putin says against such actions.

Bauer says it is also smart for NATO to start attacking Russia’s military systems in order to stop them from being used to make any further advances in and through Ukraine.

“If Russia attacks us, you need to have a combination of the precision strike with which you can take out the weapon systems that are used to attack us,” Bauer said. “And, of course, because we’re a defensive alliance, we will have to take the first blow.”

“So, if Russia will start the conflict – because we are not going to attack Russia out of nothing – we will need more air defense. That’s one of the lessons from Ukraine. And at the same time, we are going to invest in the deep precision strike.”

These are big words that some say will only further enrage Putin since as Bauer explained, NATO is supposed to be a defensive operation, not an offensive one.

“Pretty stupid to openly talk about preemptively striking your enemy on the world’s largest social media,” wrote someone on X / Twitter about Bauer’s public admissions. “What a bunch of globalist boneheads.”

The user who shared the above video, Ivan Kircanski (@KircanskiIvan), agreed, emphasizing the fact that NATO by its very existence is simply supposed to defend, not offend.

“Broadcasting preemptive strike plans on such a platform is reckless. Not only does it escalate tensions unnecessarily, but it also undermines NATO’s claims of being a defensive alliance. Strategic ambiguity seems like a smarter play, no?”

“Shifting NATO’s stance from defensive to proactive has a way of stirring the pot,” added another.

Bauer “bluntly stated” that “to achieve the goals of protecting and defending the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance, it is necessary to preemptively strike at those targets in the Russian Federation that, in NATO’s opinion, could pose a threat.”

Russia is responding to Bauer’s words with condemnation. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that what Bauer is proposing requires that NATO “takes the first blow,” and for “all decency” to have “already been discarded” by the alliance.

“Mr. Bauer is either a fool or a provocateur – perhaps both at once,” commented Russian MP Sergey Mironov, leader of the “A Just Russia” political party. Should he follow through, Russia could simply launch “a hypersonic weapon from which no one has protection” and be done with it.

What Bauer said, though, does show his “true intentions” rather than the smokescreen that NATO normally provides, Lavrov further suggested.

“Throughout the war, every single decision has been calibrated by the Biden administration and its allies with a goal of slowing the slippery slide towards a direct conflict between two nuclear-armed states,” warns Andrew Payne, foreign policy and security senior lecturer at City St. George’s, University of London.

“The interesting dynamic here is that, were it not for the U.S. election, the Biden administration would probably be more concerned about the escalatory implications of its decisions than it currently appears to be.”

Zelensky continues to betray his own country following orders from the Neocons, who used Biden to authorize long-range missiles to be launched deep into Russia, which cannot be targeted without American satellite information and coordinates. 

There is no way he can launch missiles into Russia and expect that Russia will not respond. This was not intended to force Russia to peace talks when the Neocons sent Boris Johnson to kill any peak deal, and now we see more than one million Ukrainians have died since. As the NY Times wrote, General Mark A. Milley, then President Biden’s chief military adviser, suggested that neither Russia nor Ukraine could win the war. This is all about trying to get Putin to attack anything so NATO can invoke Article 5 to try to force Trump to send troops to Europe to wage this war against Russia.

Putin has told why he ordered his troops to bomb Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Putin dispatched as many as 90 missiles and 100 drones. More than a million Ukrainians were left without power by the bombing. ‘This was a response to the Ukrainian attacks with British and US strikes last week,’ Putin said. He added that Russia is still selecting new targets in Ukraine, which may include decision-making centers in the capital Kiev.

Meanwhile, European leaders are desperate to create World War III as the European Union is in economic trouble. The head of the German secret service, Bruno Kahl, is arguing to invoke Article 5 over any hybrid attack. They can now create a false flag, calling it sabotage to justify triggering Article 5.

Handing Ukraine these long-range missiles has shifted the focus inside Russia, and it can no longer be denied that World War III is underway for this is NATO and the USA are in a proxy war with Russia, and they are escalating it rapidly, fearing Trump takes office and then he would be anti-war. It is no joke that even the Greens in Germany are pro-war under the theory that (1) it will destroy the energy production of Russia and (2) reduce the population making Bill Gates, Buffett, and Soros so happy.

The increase in Russian armed forces means that Putin has been forced to accept that this is World War III, and there will be no peace negotiations before Trump comes to power if they don’t try to assassinate him again. 

A military confrontation with NATO and the USA is a very possible outcome.  Already, they are spinning the Russian Risk of interference in the upcoming German elections. German intelligence chief Bruno Kahl said at an event organized by the international relations think tank DGAP in Berlin that Russia’s hybrid warfare raises the risk that NATO may have to consider triggering the mutual defense clause, Article 5 of the treaty. They want World War III so bad that they can taste the blood.

Putin has been trying to sit on his hands. He knows that a direct confrontation will be devastating to much of the world. He is NOT a warmonger, but those behind him are just as insane as our Neocons and the leader of Europe, who have collectively been drugged, it seems, by NATO. Putin has had no choice but to increase the Russian armed forces as he is compelled to confront that a direct military confrontation with NATO becomes more likely with every passing day.

Establishing a trendline means having at least three data points.  Now we have three data points in drone incursions against U.S. military facilities.

During December 2023 we had 17 days of unrelenting, unchallenged drone swarms over the largest cluster of military facilities in the world, the Hampton Roads/Virginia Beach region of Virginia.

Then starting on November 18, 2024, drone swarms started visiting Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey, approximately 35 miles to the west of New Jersey.  Picatinny is the DOD center for small arms and ammunition.

Now, the three core U.S. Air Force facilities in Europe, Royal Air Force (RAF) Stations Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell have experienced drone swarms.  One note – it is a long-standing clause of the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) that these are called RAF vice U.S. Air Force Bases.

The roar of the non-response to the drone swarms other than aggressive press releases is deafening.

These events are not UFO freak outs nor drone enthusiasts.  These are well planned, coordinated, and executed on a large scale.

They lead to the intuitive conclusion, with the initial known evidence on the evidence table, that this is the work of a hostile foreign power or powers.

Many ask on social media, “Why are we not shooting these drones down? “, which is a reasonable question.

Retired CIA Operations Officer Mike Baker said on a recent show (tongue in cheek), “At CIA headquarters we would have the interns run outside and throw classified documents in the air to knock down these drones”.

Unfortunately, it appears Mike’s Concept of Operations (CONOP) would be more effective than what has been done so far.

With the three installations in the UK, the question is where were these drone swarms staged from?

There are no conspiracies, but no coincidences.  The Baltic Sea has become a Chinese lake with the diminished U.S. Navy tied down in the Middle East.

The Chinese are becoming a proxy of their proxy Russia as Chinese ships are regularly breaking undersea infrastructure in the Baltic.

This is Fifth Generation Warfare on steroids as China punches back for US/NATO actions against Russia.

Doing a simple route analysis, the Chinese ships come very close to the East Anglia airfields as they leverage Arctic routes to bypass US Trade Sanctions, or right by the bases if they use the English Channel route.

But the NewNewPolarBear (a real Chinese ship, not a Seinfeld joke) is a container ship that broke a gas line and two undersea cables in the Baltic in October 2023.

Containers are wonderful to hide opportunities for all kinds of clandestine skullduggery (like the Russian Club-K missile or the container-looking U.S. Typhon Missile system).

Germany’s Rheinmetall is already publicly making what looks to be an ISO compliant container for drones.

For a logistician, planner, or operator in clandestine operations, the container makes perfect sense.

A Chinese ship could turn off its Automatic Identification System, go dark, do the mission, move away and turn back on its AIS.

After more than a week of drones being spotted over four of its facilities in England, Air Force officials are still trying to find out who is flying them, why they are being flown, and the relationship between incidents at different installations. One thing is clear, however. They are not being operated by your average drone enthusiasts.

Two U.S. officials told The War Zone that these drones “do not appear to be the work of hobbyists.” Witnesses say they are quadcopters and octocopters and are more sophisticated than consumer off-the-shelf models.

The incidents at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Fitwell “appear to be connected,” one of those officials added. The relationship to drones seen over RAF Fairford is less clear. The War Zone was first to report the drone incursions. They began to appear on Nov. 20 and continue to this day.

“Small unmanned aerial systems continue to be spotted in the vicinity of and over Royal Air Force Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Feltwell and RAF Fairford since Nov. 20,” Air Force Capt. Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the 48th Fighter Wing at Lakenheath, told us in a statement today. “To date, installation leaders have determined that none of the incursions impacted base residents, facilities or assets. The Air Force is taking all appropriate measures to safeguard the aforementioned installations and their residents.”

The number of systems “has fluctuated, and they have ranged in sizes and configurations,” he added. “Our units continue to monitor the airspace and are working with host-nation authorities and mission partners to ensure the safety of base personnel, facilities and assets. To safeguard operational security, we do not discuss specific force protection measures, however we retain the right to protect our installations. We request individuals in the area to contact either local police or Security Forces if they see anything suspicious, to include sUAS’s or drone activity.”

U.K Defense Minister Maria Eagle said the government was “taking steps” to deal with the incursions, the BBC reported.

“Protection of our personnel and bases is of course our highest priority,” said Eagle, speaking during a debate on UK air and missile defenses at Westminster Hall. “For security reasons I won’t go into specifics. But we are taking steps and we are aware of what’s going on and doing our best to deal with it.”

“We will be making sure that anybody we manage to catch for engaging in this behaviour will be shown the full force of the law for their illegal activities,” she added.

Aircraft spotters outside Lakenheath claim they have seen F-15E Strike Eagles sent aloft in response to the incursions. Flight tracking software has also shown interesting aerial operations around the base as the sightings have progressed. F-15E’s targeting pods would be especially useful in finding, identifying and tracking the low-flying drones. However, Air Force officials have not confirmed that they are using the fighters in an attempt to track the drones. Surely multiple aerial assets have been deployed to help ascertain what exactly is going on and at whose command. UK assets, including police helicopters and intelligence-gathering turboprops are likely to have been used in the hunt.

The 48th Fighter Wing, with its F-35A Joint Strike Fighters and aforementioned F-15E Strike Eagles is the base tenant unit at Lakenheath. The 100th Air Refueling Wing, which flies KC-135s, is the main unit at Mildenhall. The 352nd Special Operations Wing with its MC-130s and CV-22s is also among the base tenants.

There have also been signs that Lakenheath is at least being prepared to re-host U.S. nuclear bombs after those weapons were removed from the country in 2008. Feltwell also houses personnel from the 48th Fighter Wing and serves as an additional logistical node for American forces in the country.

Ironically, Lakenheath was home to fighter wings that defended Israel against Iranian drones as well as missiles during Tehran’s massive barrage in April. Several airmen at Lakenheath received medals for heroics during that operation. You can read more about that here.

On Tuesday, officials from USAFE added RAF Fairford to the list of bases experiencing drone incursions. Unlike the other three facilities which are in close proximity, Fairford is about 100 miles to the southwest. 

Fairford is the main bomber forward operating location in Europe for the U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command. Bomber Task Force-Europesees B-1s, B-52s, and B-2s rotate into the theater fairly regularly for operations with NATO and other allies and to ‘deter’ Russia. It is also home to small contingents of U-2 spy planes.

There are four B-52 Stratofortress bombers currently at the base and flying missions around Europe.

On Nov. 25, two B-52H Stratofortress bombers assigned to the 20th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron conducted a simulated weapons drop training mission as part of Bomber Task Force 25-1 in Finland, according to USAFE. 

“During the mission bombers integrated with Finnish F/A-18C Hornets and Swedish Air Force Saab JAS 39 Gripens.”
