I agree with the articles below. There will be a coming deception that includes the "UFO story", "aliens" and how this deception will be an attempt to discredit the story of the Bible. It is quite possible that this deception will also represent an attempt to "explain" the rapture. It is also possible that this will be the deception mentioned in 2 Thessalonians. Additionally, it is interesting that most of this started with the Roswell Incident, which occurred just after Israel became a nation and end-times events began to accelerate significantly. Is that a coincidence? This topic is worth review - as it is growing and will become more and more of a "news" topic in the coming months. The truth around this issue is vital as deception is one of the hallmarks of this generation:
6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends thema powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Though Joe Jordan’s ministry might easily be misunderstood by some Christians, his specialty in the UFO phenomenon is actually a subset of the creation vs evolution debate. Joe was initially led astray in this area by popular culture, which shows how important it is for Christians to engage the culture with sound information—regardless of how weird we might think it to be at times. As a fellow traveller in this area, Joe and I have been in a friendly symbiotic relationship for many years now. His research, which specifically deals with the claims of people believing to have been ‘abducted by aliens’, helped me expose the satanic deceptions that underpin these experiences in my book, Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection.
Prior to becoming a Christian, Joe described himself as a ‘crystal-ball-rolling new-ager’ with an interest in science fiction, which he saw as merely escapism. Although an evolutionist due to his public school education, it was not immediately obvious to him that most sci-fi and its depiction of alien life has evolutionism at its core (if life evolved on Earth it must have evolved elsewhere in a 14-billion-year-old universe).
Initially, Joe did not know much about the phenomenon. A book called
UFO Crash at Roswell piqued his interest.
1 It claimed to be a scientific investigation of the alleged crash of a flying saucer at Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947. Joe’s experience resonated with me, because as a young man the best-ever-selling book on the subject,
The Roswell Incident, had convinced me, like many others, that the government was complicit in hiding the truth about aliens.
Now ‘hooked’, Joe wanted to know more. He visited a local UFO museum, talked with UFO researchers and read up. He was surprised to see a large array of ‘spiritual’ UFO books dealing with events like the Fatima sightings.2 Christianity is under assault from this area, because many believe that supernatural encounters and miracles in the Bible can be attributed to benevolent aliens being mistaken as angels or even God, and that these aliens may even be mankind’s creators.3
Joe quickly qualified to be a state section director and investigator with the highly respected MUFON,4 investigating claims of UFO sightings and experiences of those who claim encounters with ‘alien’ beings. At monthly MUFON meetings, Joe was strongly confronted by the spiritual paradigm of the UFO-believers. He realized that, for many, it is a full-blown religion. These ‘highly evolved aliens’ were claiming to be helping humanity evolve to a kind of enlightened ascendency into a new age. Although Joe was brought up in the church, like many youth he abandoned the idea of a biblical creator. This ‘new religion’ gave Joe a sense of spirituality, but without the accountability that the Bible demands. With no supreme creator, man can make up his own rules. Each experience is just part of one’s spiritual growth into the new age.
Around this time Joe and fellow MUFON investigator Wes Clark started their own research group called CE45 specifically to deal with alleged alien abductions or ‘Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind’6 experiences. They attempted to unravel the more bizarre aspects of this phenomenon that defy scientific explanation. Experiencers record huge chunks of ‘missing time’ that cannot be accounted for; allegedly physical aliens are claimed to walk through walls; and the experiencers themselves are often taken up to the spaceship through the ceilings of their homes. MUFON and other researchers had enormous problems trying to explain the physics-defying aspects of these abduction-type experiences, which were escalating.
Joe saw the damage these were causing in the lives of the experiencers. He and Wes revisited all the cases they had investigated to see if there was something that the other investigators were missing. In the fall of 1996, Joe was working on two particularly disturbing accounts which seemed more sinister than many of the others. A Christian friend told them that they were dealing in the spiritual realm and thus needed protection. “So, I pulled out my crystals”, Joe said. “But she shared the Bible with me instead. It was the first time I’d ever heard a true gospel presentation and understood what Christianity was really all about. I confessed my sins and became a Christian.”
Now Joe wanted to reconcile the UFO phenomenon with his newfound faith. He and Wes attended a two-week Bible study. Although Joe’s new circle of friends were Christians, most believed that God created intelligent sentient life on other planets. Now life was either created or it evolved, and it is because of evolution that most people believe that life evolved elsewhere as well. But as I can confirm from many years speaking on the subject, most Christians wrongly believe God created such life elsewhere, “Otherwise why would He have made the universe so big?” For them, this allows God to have created the aliens, and this seems to explain the phenomenon. However, such an idea actually undermines the very gospel of Christ and the reason He came to Earth (for more see reference7). Back in 2005 after reading the first edition of Alien Intrusion, Joe said to me, “Gary, your book has helped me shut the door on the idea of ET life. Despite what most Christians think, it showed me that the Bible clearly does not allow for such things.”
It was encouraging that two Christians, continents apart (I was then living in Australia), could come to the same conclusions and help each other, if prepared to be open to what the Bible actually says.
Alien Intrusion recently had a chapter added. It contains a new hypothesis to try to solve what is really happening to people during such 4th and 5th-kind encounters. Joe provided feedback that this hypothesis was ‘spot on’. It meant a lot, given that he has probably counselled more experiencers than anyone else I know.
One of Joe’s cases involved a brand-new Christian called Bill D. During an alleged alien abduction he cried out “Jesus, help me!” and the encounter immediately stopped. When Joe contacted other MUFON investigators to see if they had had similar cases, they would only agree to talk to Joe if it was ‘off the record’ for fear of their careers. The truth was they all knew of similar accounts of abductions being stopped by people praying, singing hymns or calling on the name of Jesus.
But because it was ‘religious in nature’ and not ‘scientific’, the evidence was being deliberately ignored and actually hidden.
Joe’s CE4 group knew there must be more cases with which they could expose the deception. A local newspaper, Florida Today, reported on CE4’s initial findings. The story went viral via the press and internet, and suddenly, lots of people were contacting CE4 sharing similar testimonies. This research of Joe’s was pivotal in helping me and others create awareness in the Church on this widespread phenomenon.
Joe’s current ministry sees him counselling many experiencers with the aim of leading them to Christ. To date, he has worked with over 400 people who have had their ‘abduction’ episodes halted in the name of Christ (some of them don’t want to be identified). He has valuable insight into the whole UFO realm as he has seen it from two different sets of eyes—as an unbelieving new-ager, and now as a Bible-believing Christian. Like me, he found that the Bible has the answers to explain what is really happening. Moreover, the Bible also explains that non-Christians are unable to see the phenomenon for what it really is, “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14 ESV)
An agnostic UFO researcher worked the incoming reports and followed up with witnesses in the field. Curiosity fed his hook-up with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and set-up up as Florida state section director in Brevard County.
The beat was fielding a regular flow of incoming reports of unidentified flying objects - civilian reports of flying saucers and related anomalies.
Monthly meetings boosted the witness count. Some of those witnesses were reporting alien abduction - a challenge working in a "nuts and bolts" scientific organization - but he soon realized that it's all part of the same phenomena.
The investigator is Joe Jordan. His story is multi-layered and takes us down a rough and questionable road to get to the truth - a turn to Christianity - and an awakening in him of a simple, historical and rather frightening truth about UFOs and aliens. And no one's talking about it on CNN.
The "real" in "if this is real", is that an emerging and growing body of alien abduction experiencers seems to have not only discovered a way of ending a single abduction scenario - but a method of halting the abduction process completely - by invoking the name of Jesus Christ.
Stories of unidentified flying objects, flying saucers, aliens and alien abduction, have been popping up throughout Man's history - based on the earliest writings and art that have survived from many different cultures and artifacts found over the centuries. Today's 21st century communication methods and cheap digital photography may make it appear that the current daily reports globally are a hot new topic.
"The contactees and abductees claim they were in contact with the so called beings behind the sightings", Jordan said. "I turned to MUFON, and said, 'Guys, we've been chasing our tails with sighting reports. If we're going to try and get to the actual events going on and the purpose of what's going on, we have to get to the source itself. And if these people are getting close, these are the people we need to get in touch with'."
Since the majority of alien abductees Jordan was interviewing were women, he felt that he needed to bring a woman on board CE4 to make those giving up testimony feel more comfortable - and a woman he knew stepped in to help.
The woman was Christian, and after working with Jordan for a time, pulled him aside.
"She said, 'If you're going to work in this realm, you have to have some protection'. So I pulled out my crystals. And she said, 'I'm talking about real protection', and this is when things started to change.
"She handed me a Bible.
"I pushed it away and said that this had nothing to do with what we're dealing with. But she showed me the protection the Bible offered".
Jordan ended up taking her up on that offer and read the Bible - and soon became a Christian himself.
"But at the same time", he said, "I'm a UFO investigator. I have this want to know as much about something as possible. Now as a Christian, I want to know more".
What they already had was witness testimony. One of those cases was six months old, a guy named Bill who was interviewed on video in his living room during a two-hour session.
"It was like, originally, we never heard what he said", Jordan said. "It starts out as a typical experience. He saw something from his living room window. He went to sleep and had an abduction experience. But during that experience, being terrified, he cried out - 'Jesus, help me' And the experience instantly stopped. He woke up in bed next to his wife".
Jordan wondered why this piece of the story where the abductee invokes the name of Jesus Christ did not stand out before.
"If this is real", he said. "This is huge".
Other researchers contacted
No where in the alien abduction research that Jordan had poured over had he ever read about any method at all where one could stop an experience once it was in motion. He decided to check it out and began calling alien abduction researchers around the country. He set up the story by simply telling them that he did not know what to make of a particular case and needed an opinion. In each case, he said, the researcher did the same thing.
"Can we talk off the record?"
"They all pretty much said the same thing", Jordan said. "They had come across similar cases where the abductee cried out the name of Jesus, said prayers. So this is not a once in a lifetime case".
But when asked why this had not been brought out into the open before, Jordan said he got one of two answers.
The first answer was basically, 'well, we didn't know what to make of it'.
"But what bothered me", he said, "was the second answer. They were afraid to go there as it would affect their credibility in the UFO field".
Some details 'under the rug'
Jordan was confused. "We're looking at what people call a cover-up. They're not sharing everything that they have".
This research fueled the fire under Jordan. "I told them that I was going to take this on", he said. "I think it needs to be recorded and shared. I'm going to build this database. They told me - 'please do - because we can't'. I thanked them all and moved on".
In the 13 years that followed, Joe Jordan has worked more than 350 cases - and has fought hard to get the word out. This summer, he makes his third annual presentation at a major UFO symposium in Roswell, NM.
As his investigation into reported alien abduction continued, Jordan was cautioned by a colleague to be armed - a reference to Biblical study, which he followed up on and became a Christian himself.
Following a vision he received during an intensive Biblical training session, he took a second look at witness testimony already reviewed. What startled Jordan - something he had heard, but overlooked in his original investigation - was the fact that some witnesses had revealed how they had ended both a current abduction and any future abductions.
They invoked the name of Jesus Christ.
A follow-up with ufologists from around the country revealed that he was not alone in his findings. Others who had gone before him had discovered similar testimony, but had overlooked it because they either did not know what to do with it, or they were afraid of hurting their research image.
But now word was out. One local newspaper interview with a Gannett publication moved the story out to a wide audience. And the story was posted on web sites -like Flying Saucer Review. Jordan's phone calls suddenly took on a national, rather than local, flavor.
While Jordan's findings may not be universal, he did find enough witnesses where the evidence can be considered repeatable.
"We have repeatability", he said. "And MUFON stresses repeatability". But somehow, he said, it's the "most hated subject in ufology".
Jordan explained that within ufology there is a split. On one side you may have Christians who are very positive about the research, but an opposing group -highly connected with the new age and the metaphysical - that are against these ideas.
But Jordan has managed to work successfully within and around UFO organizations - and build his Christian ideas privately as CE-4 Research. In fact, Jordan's management of and participation in this year's first ever Christian UFO-alien symposium at Roswell, NM - marks the third successive year in a row that he has presented annually at a Roswell conference.
Results have not always been the best.
While Jordan stressed he brings repeatability to the symposium - live witnesses - "Each time you open it up to Q&A, they never question the evidence. They want to attack you on your belief system. I saw this talk after talk".
"I brought the evidence", he said. "What do they bring? Hearsay pictures and videos. I brought a stage full of living experience that they can touch, smell, talk to these people. Don't trust me. Trust the evidence".
But Jordan pointed out that the attacks came.
"The attacks came on us as Christians", he said. "How dare we bring religion to this phenomena". He said the witness testinony was never questioned. But not everyone attacked Jordan and his ideas. Two ufology researchers seemed to be interested. "They realized that if even one of these cases is real, this is something that must be looked at. I give them credit for going that far".
Another researcher, Jordan said, got the chance to see a woman who he had originally worked with, who ended her abductions by invoking the name of Jesus Christ. The researcher kept saying, "You are so different from when I knew you before. He was seeing the change in her - recognizing it - he was so fascinated because he saw something so different".

Since we have opened up this site, we have received many interesting emails from people around the world. In some of these emails, several people have asked our opinion on the whole UFO phenomena, since there have been so many documented sightings from people all over the world on this particular phenomena.
For the record, here is our official position on this topic:
1. First, we definitely believe there is something going on out there with there being so many definite sightings from so many people across the entire world. Granted, many of these UFO sightings have been downright lies and hoaxes, as anyone with a little bit of knowledge can superimpose a fake image on their shots with their cameras.
However, as some of you already know who have done any type of research in this area, there have also been way too many sightings from very creditable people, with some of them actually coming from Air Force pilots and trained army personnel. I have also seen too many good documentaries and video shots showing that some people have really caught the real thing on their camcorders
With these “objects” moving in a way and with a speed that could never be made or duplicated with the technology that we now have in place with our current aircrafts, then there can only be one of two possible explanations for this phenomenon.
It is either real live aliens from another planet who are looking down and observing us, or it is just demons masquerading as these friendly aliens trying to come to us as “angels of light.”
For the record, we believe this phenomenon is the real thing, but that it is really demonic spirits who are playing this game with us, not any real, live, alien beings from another planet.
3. We believe the demons who are specializing in this phenomenon are doing it for a very special reason. They have a very definite agenda being set up with this particular manifestation, and we feel that it will be used to help explain the rapture to the rest of the unbelieving world when it does occur, as Satan and the Antichrist will have to give the rest of the world some kind of logical explanation as to why all of the Christians were suddenly raptured off the face of this earth.
I believe by the time the rapture gets ready to take place, there will be a noticeable increase in UFO sightings and appearances, and the Antichrist will then use the UFO phenomena as the main lie to tell the rest of the world why all the Christians had to be taken away. He will tell people they cannot have true peace and a utopian society in this world unless all of the Christians are taken out.
The Bible says that in the latter days that the signs and wonders coming in from the dark side will be so good, that even some of the elect are going to be fooled and duped. Here is the verse where this specific revelation is being given to us:
“For false christs and false prophets will arise and show GREAT SIGNS AND WONDERS, so as to deceive, if possible, the elect.” (Matthew 24:24)
I believe that the whole UFO phenomena will fall under the lying signs and wonders category, so do not be surprised if we do not see a lot more of this demonic phenomena in the coming years ahead.
A new book asserts that a government committee affiliated with the Defense Department concluded that UFOs are a demonic deception.
The book is Final Events, by Nick Redfern; we don't pretend to know how much of it is legitimate. In it, Redfern details the investigations of a group nicknamed the "Collins Elite" that was composed of government, military, and intelligence personnel. According to Redfern -- a paranormal writer on many controversial (and to many, outlandish) subjects -- the group, which included G-2 Army intelligence agents, as well as Naval and Air Force personnel, reached the conclusion "that we have in our midst a cold-hearted and sinister intelligence of demonic origins that masquerades as alien."
To many, of course, this seems preposterous; perhaps it is. But because we have long been concerned about the negative spiritual nature of "alien" reports, we are giving it an airing. Redfern says he learned of the group's view from an Anglican priest named Reverend Ray Boeche of Lincoln, Nebraska, who in the 1990s had met with two members of the group who were Defense physicists and born-again Christians. They sought out the minister to express their concerns about the evil nature of such phenomena.
The first reaction at the mere mention of UFOs ("unidentified flying objects"), of course, often evokes guffaws -- a feeling that this is something really out there, something that should be relegated to a bin marked "lunatic fringe." And so, in many cases, might this be, especially with those who claim alien contact. There are certainly instances where such sightings of objects or encounters or luminosities in the sky have been the products of the hoax, imagination, or misidentified objects, whether a satellite, plane, or weather balloon.
At least, those are the explanations skeptics most often cite. There are cases that even government agencies (most recently, England) admit have no ready explanation, accounts that have pilots, radar controllers, or police as witnesses. Even the Vatican Observatory has expressed interest. Reports of those cases are now commonly carried on "mainstream" media outlets such as Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, the History Channel, and Discover, among other programs -- along with a slew of large internet sites.
In late summer a former Air Force controller, Captain Robert Salas, broke a long silence to publicly announce he had witnessed a UFO on March 16, 1967, at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana and that it had affected nuclear launch equipment (rendering sixteen missiles inoperative there and later at a second facility). Other military have likewise testified. The latest buzz was two weeks ago in Inner Mongolia, where Chinese officials closed an airportuntil a strange, unknown light left its air space.
We have no idea how many of these claims are legitimate but have spiritual concerns because in many UFO cases witnesses become "psychic," the "aliens" (frequently portrayed as reptilian, slanty-eyed "grays") often can walk through walls (materialize and dematerialize), and in some instances there is left the smell of sulfur.
In other cases, UFOs seem more like the "orbs" associated with spirits and in fact Indian lore contains accounts of "spirit lights." Some have even occurred -- and recurred -- near old mounds, or above covens; witnesses are often left in terror, haunted for life. Through the centuries, deceiving spirits have come, it seems, in accordance with the culture -- as fairies, nymphs, leprechauns, gnomes, and now, in the space age, in at least some instances, it seems, as "extraterrestrials" (we don't preclude the possibility of life elsewhere).
According to Redfern, as far back as 1969 the U.S. Government Printing Office issued a publication compiled by the Library of Congress for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research that was entitled "UFOS and Related Subjects: An Annotated Bibliography." "In preparing the work," notes Redfern, "the senior bibliographer, Lynn E. Catoe, dug deeply into thousands of UFO articles and books. In the 400-page document, she stated: 'A large part of the available UFO literature is closely linked with mysticism and the metaphysical. It deals with subjects like mental telepathy, automatic writing, and invisible entities as well as phenomena like poltergeists [ghost] manifestations and possession. 'Many of the UFO reports now being published in the popular press recount alleged incidents that are strikingly similar to demonic possession and psychic phenomena.'"
These are words, reports Redfern, from our government. The Collins Elite reached a stronger conclusion. At least among those who met the minister, the concern, he says, was that a massive deception was in our midst -- one we have long called the "great deception." "The only alternative that may prove successful in thwarting plans of the enemy," stated a 1988 report of the Collins Elite, is through "...intense indoctrination of faith and values at planetary level to radically and rapidly alter current population mindset."
Is it like the nephilim in Noah's time (see Genesis 6:4)?
Redfern reports that at the government's own Kennedy Space Center in Florida was a safety specialist named Joe Jordan [left] who studied alien "abduction" and likewise concluded they were an evil phenomenon. (The abductions, he pointed out, are known to halt when a terrorized "abductee" cries out the Name Jesus.)
Have we been duped by movies into accepting ET?
People open themselves up to this, said Jordan, through anti-Christian, anti-biblical, or anti-God behavior -- or by dabbling with the occult, metaphysics, the paranormal, or New Age.
Why are we not warned about all this?
Did Christ not even say that there would be deceptions even of the "elect"?
Why is it that aliens often attack Christian beliefs -- but not those of other religions?
Gnomes. Fairies. Elves.
ETs.

Said another investigator, "The common questions that Christians arrive at when they examine the documented teaching of aliens are quite logically along the lines of: Why would authentic extraterrestrial biological entities travel ninety billion light years just to attack one specific religion? Why do they make such a concentrated effort to convince people that Jesus Christ is not the true Deity, or God incarnate? Given their powers and abilities, the Christian truly is left with no choice but to identify these creatures as deceiving spirits."
Indeed, if a flurry of "aliens" suddenly "landed," how would this notion of being not made in His Image affect belief?
And might the Vatican Observatory -- which looks rather positively on the notion of aliens -- benefit from a closer look?
Are we on the verge of a great awakening, or a grand delusion?
Many abductees speak of aliens as future helpers after an apocalypse.
Fallen angels?
Said Malone: "What I believe is that disclosure will be the catalyst that unites the world under the one-world leader, the anti-christ. He will be the leader of the one-world government, one religion, and one economy. People need to understand all of this now so that when the curtain is unveiled, they already have made their choice about which God to serve." Redfern claims the Collins Elite concluded that the presence of "aliens" in our world encourages us "to accept and embrace Satan himself -- albeit in the deceptive guise of an advanced alien entity -- as our savior, shortly before the countdown to Armageddon begins and time finally runs out."
Sounds crazy, doesn't it?
If it does, do a Google search of news sites and see how many reports there have been of late -- carried over mainstream outlets. We can't substantiate all the claims in this book. But we know from elsewhere -- from even a Harvard researcher who has studied abductees (Dr. John Mack) -- that whether or not apocalyptic, something very unpleasant is afoot here, and that it is dispelled only in the Name of Jesus.
