Prophetic tremors are shaking the soil of the Middle East. 

As war rages in Gaza, the talk of peace is already escalating--not just a truce, but something far bigger, more historic, and perhaps far more dangerous. 

The same voices now urging Israel to finish off Hamas are also beginning to whisper of regional realignment, the expansion of the Abraham Accords, and a sweeping deal with the Arab world. For those who study prophecy, these aren't just headlines--they're harbingers.

Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, a key figure in Israeli diplomacy, has emphasized that a decisive victory over Hamas is essential for Israel to secure broader peace agreements with Arab nations. He stated, "In the Middle East, when you win, when you're strong, that's what attracts others." In a podcast appearance Dermer argued that Hamas would have to be defeated before a real plan for the "day after" could be created. 

Any plan put forward by Israel would be "dead on arrival," and would be automatically opposed by any local faction, Dermer warned. Therefore, the international community and moderate Arab States, especially in the Gulf region, should be an integral part of the post-war plan, he said.

The Abraham Accords could possibly be part of this process. Initiated in 2020, marked a significant step in normalizing relations between Israel and several Arab nations, including the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. There is ongoing speculation about the potential inclusion of Saudi Arabia and Syria in these accords. 

However, Saudi Arabia has made clear it will only join when a much larger plan is put in place that will involve the Palestinians.  If Saudi Arabia does join it is expected to open the floodgates to many other Arab and Muslim nations.  If Saudi Arabia was to propose a much larger agreement with many more nations, one could see how this might start to look prophetic or at least create the precedent for more agreements to follow.

Many Christian theologians interpret Daniel 9:27 as a prophecy concerning a future seven-year peace agreement involving Israel. This period, often referred to as the "70th week" of Daniel, or 'The Tribulation Period' is believed to be initiated by a covenant confirmed by a prominent world leader, commonly identified as the Antichrist. The verse states: "He will confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering."

According to this interpretation, the Antichrist will broker a seemingly beneficial peace treaty, possibly facilitating the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. However, midway through the seven-year period, he will violate the agreement, ceasing temple sacrifices and committing the "abomination of desolation," an act of profound desecration. This event is seen as the commencement of the 'Great Tribulation', a time of unparalleled suffering described in the Book of Revelation.

Make no mistake--what we are witnessing in the Middle East is not just political theater; it may very well be prophetic prelude. 

The flurry of diplomatic activity, the talks of normalization with Saudi Arabia and even Syria, and the insistence by Israeli leaders that peace will only come through strength--all these are strikingly consistent with the kind of dramatic, sweeping peace accord the Bible warns us will one day be brokered and confirmed by a deceiver. 

The ground is being tilled for a covenant that could look like the solution the world has been begging for, yet underneath it may lie the ticking clock of Daniel's final seven years. This isn't just geopolitics--it's potentially the final trigger for a countdown to the return of Christ.

As believers, we must not watch these events unfold with apathy or fear--but with discernment, prayer, and readiness. The Bible has already mapped the road ahead, and every headline feels like a mile marker drawing us closer to the end of this present age. If a sweeping peace treaty emerges, confirmed by many and embraced as a global breakthrough, it may not be the dawn of lasting peace--it could be the calm before the storm.

A powerful figure has emerged in the Muslim world, and his newly founded religion is gaining followers worldwide. Shockingly, on Easter Sunday, his followers declared him to be the new pope, and the next day, the Vatican announced that Pope Francis had passed away. 

Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq, commonly known as Abdullah Hashem, was born in 1983 in Indiana to an Egyptian father and an American mother. He is an Egyptian-American and the founder of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL), not to be confused with the Ahmadiyya community discriminated against in Pakistan.

He claims to be the Qa’im Al Muhammad, the reincarnation or second coming of Muhammad and the Mahdi (Messiah). Adherents of the religion believe him to be the second of twelve Mahdis appointed in the will of the Prophet Mohammed.

The AROPL began in Iraq in the late 1990s and is now active across 40 countries. It estimates that 7,000 people have had contact with the movement. In 2018, the movement had a base in Sweden, but since 2021, it has had its headquarters in England. 

The group’s central mission is to build the Divine Just State, which a divinely appointed king will rule. This will be a theocratic state with the king appointed by, and a representative of, God rather than through a democratic election process. The AROPL is opposed to the idea of democracy.

He claims to be the “living successor of both Prophet Muhammad and Jesus Christ,” and his sermons bring “a divine message to the global Christian community.” He also claims to be  “the successor to Simon Peter, the successor to Jesus Christ, the true and legitimate Pope.”

“Aba Al-Sadiq reveals that the vacancy of the Papal Throne is no accident, but a divine sign: the time has come for the rightful heir to assume his position,” his YouTube channel states. “As the true Pope and bearer of the Covenant, he calls upon the people of the Gospel to recognize the fulfillment of prophecy and return the Throne to whom it belongs. This is not merely a message—it is a call to truth, unity, and divine justice.”

The AROPL claims al-Hasan personally fulfills three “divine criteria” qualifying him and the Qa’im: being named in the last will, possessing exceptional knowledge, and advocating for God’s supremacy over human rule.

He claims to have fufliled ten prophecies mentioned in Islamic narrations. One of the prophecies concerned the death of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia in 2015. AROPL also interprets the Muslim prophecy of the “sun rising in the West” as a prediction that Abdullah Hashem will rule over the Christian world. 

Another prophecy is that Abdullah Hashem will establish a “new covenant”. 

“Throughout history, God has established six previous covenants with humanity, well-known to those familiar with the Torah and the Bible, but all were ultimately broken by the people,” AROPL states. “The sixth covenant was God’s covenant with Prophet Mohammed. However, the savior of mankind is prophesied to come with a new covenant—the seventh covenant.”

In a manner that contradicts the edicts of mainstream Islam, this “seventh covenant” established by Abdullah Hashem will include members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Another “prophecy fulfilled” took place recently. 

“On Easter Sunday, believers in the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light, followers of Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq, took to the streets and gathered outside churches in countries around the world—including Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador, the United States, Canada, Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Vatican City, the United Kingdom, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, the Philippines, Thailand, Australia, Senegal, and Bangladesh—to announce to the world that a man had been chosen by God to lead humanity as the true Pope,” the website claimed, noting that Pope Francis’ death was announced the next day. “Believers declare that God has made His will known to all: a new Pope has indeed been chosen.”

“In an astonishing confirmation of their announcement, Pope Francis passed away the very next morning,” they claim. “Many believers—and even onlookers—are calling this event a direct sign from God, a visible miracle to affirm the legitimacy of Aba Al-Sadiq’s divine mission.”

“The vacancy of the Papal Throne is no accident, but a divine sign: the time has come for the rightful heir to assume his position,” his video claimed in a message aimed at Christians and Catholics. “As the true Pope and bearer of the Covenant, he calls upon the people of the   Gospel to recognize the fulfillment of prophecy and return the Throne to whom it belongs".

While this mixing of religions may sound confusing to most Westerners, this is an essential element of Muslim eschatology. There is no direct reference to a messiah in the Koran. However, Islam has a strong tradition of Mahdi, a redeemer of Islam who will come as a ruler. Islam has a strong belief in the Muslim Issa (Jesus) as the last and greatest prophet of Muhammad. In Islam, Jesus is not the son of God or divine, and did not die on the cross. Jesus ascended to heaven and is waiting for the Mahdi (Messiah).

The arrival of the Mahdi will coincide with the arrival of Jesus, who will be the Mahdi’s assistant in fighting the Masih ad-Dajjal, the false messiah, or anti-Christ.  According to Muslim tradition, the Mahdi will reappear along with Jesus, who will declare himself a Muslim, and kill Christians who refuse to convert. 

After this, Issa will be rewarded with a natural death and be buried alongside Muhammad in the fourth reserved tomb of the Green Dome in Medina.

Christians have responded by labelling Abdullah Hashem as the antichrist,  the character in Christian eschatology that opposes the Messiah and falsely substitutes himself as a savior in Jesus’s place. Abdullah Hashem refutes this claim, saying he is a messenger sent by Jesus to rule over Christians. He is equally as critical of Christianity, claiming it has distorted Jesus’ monotheism as stated in the Shema prayer found in Deuteronomy 6:4, as well as Mark 12:29. He blames Emperor Constantine and his Council of Nicaea for creating the doctrine of the Trinity.

European NATO members are risking nuclear war by escalating military tensions with Russia, according to Nikolay Patrushev, national security adviser to President Vladimir Putin.

Patrushev accused Western powers of “deploying their military machine against Russia and becoming delirious with nuclear apocalypse scenarios.” The destabilization is originating from Brussels, Berlin, Paris and London, the senior official told TASS in an interview published on Tuesday.

”For a second consecutive year, NATO is conducting exercises at our borders at a scale unseen in decades,” Patrushev said. “They are training for conducting a broad offensive from Vilnius to Odessa, seizing [the Russian exclave] Kaliningrad Region, imposing a naval blockade in the Baltic and the Black Seas, and executing preventive strikes on the staging locations of Russian nuclear deterrence forces.”

Patrushev, who formerly served as secretary of Russia’s Security Council, described the world as teetering on the brink, facing either a “new bloodbath”reminiscent of World War II or the emergence of “a fair world order where every nation enjoys sovereignty and security.” He attributed the actions of Western politicians to their refusal to accept the decline of a system centered around their nations.

The EU intends to borrow hundreds of billions of euros to fund a substantial militarization of its member states, justifying the move with claims of impending Russian aggression within the coming years.

Moscow has denied having any aggressive intentions towards the US-led military bloc, and has accused it of encroaching on Russian borders in violation of promises made to the USSR. Russian officials view the Ukraine conflict as a NATO proxy war aimed at undermining their nation's development.

A nuclear-powered cruise missile with unlimited range could outmaneuver even the most ambitious US missile defenses

Earlier this year, US President Donald Trump launched the ambitious “Golden Dome” initiative – a sweeping plan to build a national missile defense system capable of shielding America from modern threats: ballistic missiles, hypersonic weapons, and advanced cruise missiles. Designed as a next-generation shield, the Golden Dome aspires to close gaps in the nation’s defenses and guarantee security against a broad range of airborne dangers.

But even the most sophisticated defense can face a threat it wasn’t designed to stop. 

As Washington doubles down on its plans for a new shield, Russia is preparing a weapon unlike anything currently in existence – a nuclear-powered cruise missile with unlimited range. And it’s a threat the Golden Dome may struggle to counter.

Russia is on the verge of deploying an entirely new class of cruise missile that could fundamentally alter air defense paradigms: nuclear-powered, unlimited-range cruise missiles. Chief among them is the Burevestnik.

It’s only logical that US missile defense planners are thinking ahead to such unconventional threats. Open-source intelligence researchers like MT_Anderson have recently shared satellite imagery revealing suspected construction of Burevestnik launch facilities near Vologda. If verified, this would mark the next phase in the deployment of a weapon capable of shaking the foundations of global strategic stability.

Russia first revealed the Burevestnik missile during President Vladimir Putin’s address to the Federal Assembly on March 1, 2018. Dubbed SSC-X-9 “Skyfall”in the West, the missile has been cloaked in secrecy ever since. The commonly used designation “9M730 Burevestnik” is actually a misnomer, as the 9M730 label originally referred to a version of the Iskander-M missile system – but that’s a minor detail in the larger picture.

Reports suggest that Burevestnik testing has been ongoing for years at sites like Novaya Zemlya, the Nenoksa naval testing range near Severodvinsk, and the Kapustin Yar missile complex – the latter featuring specialized infrastructure operated by Rosatom. As recently as two years ago, it seemed Russia was still far from completing development. Now, however, signs point to a major shift: operational launch sites are reportedly under construction.

Visually, the Burevestnik resembles a traditional cruise missile, with folding wings for compact launch storage. It launches from a ground platform using a solid-fuel booster, then switches to an air-breathing nuclear-powered jet engine once it reaches cruising speed. In theory, this engine heats incoming air via a compact nuclear reactor, allowing the missile to stay airborne for weeks or even months without refueling.

Effectively, the Burevestnik is designed to serve as a “doomsday weapon” – a guaranteed retaliatory strike platform in the event of nuclear war.

There was a point during the last three years of the Ukraine conflict where Russia and the US were teetering on the edge of nuclear war, according to acclaimed filmmaker Oliver Stone.

Speaking to Russian students at the ‘Knowledge.First’ event in Moscow on Tuesday, Stone spoke out against the US role in the Ukraine conflict, as well as its biased coverage in Western media.

The Hollywood legend suggested that over the past three years, Moscow and Washington have relived the Cold War spike in tensions that previously culminated in the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, and said he hoped a corresponding wind-down would follow.

The United States and the Soviet Union came close to a nuclear confrontation during the Cold War after the USSR positioned medium-range ballistic missiles in Cuba, partly in response to the earlier deployment of American nukes in Turkey.

”I want to emphasize to you students how very close we came to World War III because of this awful leadership,” he said.

”We bring a great waste of our resources, and the height of this futility was a war which [former US President Joe] Biden recently dedicated to weakening Russia,” Stone said. “It is a retrograde war.”

Western media coverage of the conflict and Russia has shocked him during the past three years, the director admitted.

”Even at the height of the Cold War, we didn’t treat Russia like this,” he said. Whereas now, the media has trained people in the West to equate Russia with President Vladimir Putin, Stone added.

This is a tragic substitution of hatred for intelligence.

“The propaganda state in the West is an incredible empire. Far further and stronger than I ever imagined. You are unable to see the inside of the matrix,” he said.
