Trump Says He’s Rooting Out the ‘Radical Lunatics’ at USAID, While Musk Slams Agency for Spending Taxpayers’ Money to Fund BIOWEAPON RESEARCH

USAID, the foreign aid agency that many see as a front for CIA activities, is being radically dismantled by US President Donald J. Trump and his DOGE led by Elon Musk.
Two top officials were put on leave after trying to keep Musk’s team to access classified information, and soon both the X social media account with 1 million followers and also the website have disappeared.

Meanwhile, both President Trump and Musk are out swinging, fighting the PR battle and revealing the true scope of the fake aid agency.

Watch: Trump says USAID it’s run “by a bunch of radical lunatics”, and that we are “getting them out”.

Elon Musk is also letting rip on the agency, and he’s not mincing words.

Two USAID officials, John Voorhees and his deputy, were put on leave late Saturday night after refusing to allow DOGE members access to USAID systems. USAID employs approx. 10,000 people, excluding contractors, with 2/3 of them overseas. 60 USAID members were already put on leave last week after trying to circumvent President Trump’s executive order on stopping foreign aid.

Musk also shared a post by an X user highlighting that USAID funneled $53 million to the infamous EcoHealth Alliance, that used U.S. taxpayer funds to support ‘gain-of-function’ (weaponization) research on coronaviruses at the Wuhan lab—research that likely led to the creation of COVID-19.

And, of course, the issue is on fire all over the world. Conservative champion, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele also chimed in on the controversy:
