We know from Matthew 24 that persecution will grow during this age, reaching a pinnacle during the Tribulation. Indeed, this process is already well underway:
The “coming persecution of Christians” has already begun. It is already here. So why is the mainstream media in the United States almost totally silent about this phenomenon? When some politician somewhere around the globe inadvertently offends homosexuals or Muslims, it instantly makes headline news. But very few Americans are even aware that it has been estimated that 100 million Christians are currently facing persecution and thatapproximately 100,000 Christians die for their faith each year. As you are about to see, Christians all over the world are being burned alive, beheaded, crucified, tortured to death and imprisoned in metal shipping containers just because of what they believe. This persecution goes on year after year and it is steadily intensifying. But the governments of the western world and the mainstream media are almost entirely ignoring what is happening.
The information shared below is extremely graphic. Some of the websites that normally run my articles may want to think twice before posting this one. The reason why I have included such graphic information is because I believe that it is very important to accurately communicate what is truly going on out there. People need to know the reality of the holocaust that is happening. The following are short excerpts from news stories about incidents of Christian persecution that took place in 12 different countries around the planet. Sadly, the vast majority of Americans have never even heard about any of these stories…
[Open the article to read the gruesome details; I'd rather not have them in print here. The conclusions below]
For the moment, things like this are not happening in the United States. But you would have to be extremely naive to think that it never could happen here.
Animosity toward Christians is rapidly rising in this country. Anyone that spends much time cruising around the Internet can see that very clearly. In fact, some bloggers recently suggested the castration and murder of Christians here in the United States.
It might seem easy to dismiss those remarks as the ramblings of a few deranged individuals, but the truth is that our own government is now labeling Christians as “extremists” and “potential terrorists“. For a large number of examples of this phenomenon, please see my previous article entitled “72 Types Of Americans That Are Considered ‘Potential Terrorists’ In Official Government Documents“.
All over the planet, the persecution of Christians is growing. And our own government is now demonizing us and characterizing us as a “threat”.
The years ahead are going to be very challenging for those who choose to be Christians. If you are a Christian, I hope that you are getting emotionally and spiritually prepared for that.
The Saudis are signaling that they will unleash a pre-emptive war in the Middle East in response to Obama's nuclear capitulation to Iran. These signals are an effort to change Obama's decision to prop up the mullahs and green light their nuclear program. Can the Saudi threats become real? It's a wild card our President is willing to play.
The Saudis are allowing leaks on a deal to get nuclear weapons from Pakistan. Larry Bell in Forbes:
Pakistan is rumored to have recently delivered Shaheen mobile ballistic missiles (a version of the U.S. two-stage Pershing I, with a range of more than 450 miles) to Saudi Arabia, minus warheads. Mark Urban, the diplomatic and defense editor ofBBC's "Newsnight", told a senior NATO decision maker earlier this year that "Nuclear weapons made in Pakistan on behalf of Saudi Arabia are now sitting ready for delivery."
The Saudis are not so secretly negotiating with the Israelis. This goes beyond allowing the use of Saudi air space, to active support in a bombing raid on Iran. Bell again:
A diplomatic contact told the London Sunday Times that "The Saudis are furious and are willing to give Israel all the help it needs" to counter the unresolved nuclear threat, noting that their relations with the U.S. had been breached by Obama's overtures to Iran.
This new cooperation represents a major policy realignment given the fact that satellite images show a new Saudi CSS-2 missile base capable of deploying A-bombs with launch rails pointing towards both Iran and Israel. According to the Times, Israel's Mossad intelligence agency and Sunni royal rulers of Saudi Arabia are even developing joint contingency plans for a possible attack on Tehran's nuclear program.
The Saudis have collected a long grievance list of things our President has done to destabilize their neighborhood. Their power rests uneasy, and maintaining it requires constant work. Our President is the grand saboteur.
- They are still shocked and enraged that we forced Mubarak out of Egypt and pressured the military to let the Muslim Brotherhood take over. The Saudis helped depose the Brotherhood and fix Obama's mess. It has cost the Saudis upwards of $5 billion dollars in aid to the new transition government.
- The Saudis are angry that we pushed out another ally, Yemen's president Ali Abdullah Saleh, creating turmoil on Saudi Arabia's southern border and a stronghold for al Qaeda.
- We invited violent radicals to our embassy in Bahrain; the Saudis had to dispatch troops to stop the uprising there.
Richard Miniter in Forbes:
Obama's move made no sense to the Saudis. Bahrain is home to some 15,000 American soldiers, sailors and Marines. Why would the U.S. endanger Americans and Arab allies for the sake of militants supported by its most fevered enemy?
The tone with which this question is asked -- a mixture of exasperation, regret and anger -- itself is telling. This is the tone you hear as long-term relationships die.
With his concessions to Iran's nuclear program, President Obama has betrayed both Israel and Saudi Arabia, our two most important allies in protecting the world's oil supply. In contrast to President Bush's close cooperation with our Middle East allies, Obama did not consult them on the Iran deal, nor was their safety considered. One result is certain: our influence in the region is diminished. Other results, more dire, to follow.
When it comes to the deal between Iran and major powers, Israel and the pro-Israel community are retreating from a strategy of confrontation and working instead to influence the contours of a final agreement.
[Of course it will be too late by the time a 'final agreement' is reached]
In a conference call last week, Howard Kohr, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s executive director, advised pro-Israel activists and leaders not to confront the Obama administration directly over the “difference of strategy” between the United States and Israel on Iran. Instead, Kohr said to focus on passing new sanctions as a means of shaping a final deal.
Israel, along with some pro-Israel groups and members of Congress, decried the deal for not dismantling Iran’s nuclear capability and said the rollback of any sanctions, however marginal, reversed the momentum that has helped bring Iran to the negotiating table. US officials recoiled at the rhetoric, telling Jewish leaders in off-the-record phone calls that it made more sense for Israel to try to shape the outcome of a final deal than to trash the interim deal.
In a talk Thursday with the American Jewish Committee, Robert Einhorn, a former Obama administration policy official on Iran, said Netanyahu’s “very aggressive” tone “was surprising to me and to many others.”
Israelis feel a great deal less secure with Iran in possession of 19,000 centrifuges, and the relaxation of the sanctions. To ask Israel to make further territorial concessions to the Palestinians at this time is a non-starter. The release of Palestinian terrorists with the blood of innocent Israeli civilians on their hands, as a goodwill gesture just to bring Mahmoud Abbas to the negotiating table, was bad enough. The Gaza experience of 2005, when Israel expelled close to 9000 Jewish residence from Gaza, and facilitated Hamas’ terror attacks on southern Israel, is still fresh in the minds of most Israelis. Israelis have serious concerns about vacating strategic territories next to its population centers, which might become new targets for the Palestinians who have not foresworn the “armed struggle.” Additionally, despite signed agreements by the Palestinians which required them to stop incitement against Israel, the US has long overlooked this serious transgression – one that is a highly sensitive matter for Israelis.
In his obsession to achieve an Israeli-Palestinian peace, one that has eluded his predecessors, Kerry has chosen to ignore the simple fact that Iran not the Palestinians currently pose an existential threat to Israel. And, that the US deal with Iran, which PM Netanyahu called “an historical mistake,” is far more dangerous to Israel than the threat of a Palestinian intifada. That is not to say that Israel rejects a just compromise with the Palestinians based on a two-state solution. On the contrary, the people of Israel have proven time and again that they are ready to make painful sacrifices for peace. The late Prime Minister Menachem Begin gave up the entire Sinai, its oil fields, and his home in Yamit for a Cold peace with Egypt. PM Yitzhak Rabin allowed Arafat to return to the West Bank and Gaza and signed the Oslo Accords only to be rewarded with Palestinian suicide bombers and an intifada that killed over 1000 Israelis. PM Ariel Sharon destroyed Jewish settlements in Gaza and expelled its residents, in the hope for peace, and got instead a Hamas regime. PM Netanyahu has agreed to the release of 104 Palestinian terrorists with blood on their hands just to be able to talk peace with Abbas.
Iran has built an infrastructure of terror in Central and South America in order, among other goals, to target Israelis and Jews there and have a base from which to attack the US, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Monday.
Ya’alon, meeting with Guatemalan President Otto Fernando Perez Molina, himself a former director of military intelligence, warned that Iran, which operates the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah as a proxy, was using diplomatic cover to spread terror in the Western Hemisphere.
“They built this infrastructure for the eventuality that they will have to act against Jews, Israelis or Israeli interests, but it is important to them as an infrastructure that enables them to act within the United States,” he added.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for the international community to clamp down on Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities, reiterating a demand he had made the night before in an address to the Saban Forum in Washington.
Ya’alon, who has been in lockstep with Netanyahu on Iran, said that the global terror infrastructure is indicative of the regime’s aspirations. The regime, he said, is willing to go to great lengths in order to spread the Islamic revolution around the world. In the Middle East, he said, Iran supports whoever seeks to harm Israel or the West.
“Their goal is regional and global hegemony, today through terror and subversiveness. That’s why they want a nuclear bomb, both in order to protect the regime and as a nuclear security policy that will allow them to accelerate their diplomatic subversiveness,” he said. “This is a threat to the stability of the world, and therefore we insist that one way or another it’s impermissible for them to get the bomb.”
