“The discussions will focus on post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian efforts and the next steps towards peace,” Witkoff writes on X.

The talks will take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11, according to Reuters. The Kremlin confirms the dates, AFP reports.

Witkoff also says that American negotiators will meet representatives from France, Germany, Britain, the EU and NATO, among others, to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.

With a week to go until the talks, the European Commission announced on Tuesday that negotiators from the EU, the US and Ukraine will meet in Brussels on Wednesday, together with representatives from France, Germany, Britain, NATO and the World Bank.

“The meeting will build on previous talks that took place in Miami with Ukraine and also with the United States at the time, with the aim of achieving a lasting and sustainable peace in Ukraine,” Commission spokeswoman Paula Pinho said, according to AFP.

A European meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also expected, according to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Zelensky is visiting the German capital, Berlin, on Tuesday. The talks with Merz are expected to focus on Germany's support for Ukraine in the war.
