In 2015, Lord Christopher Monckton exposed that, since the early 1990s, the “evidence” for anthropogenic climate change has been spurious. He also explained the real agenda behind the climate change alarmist narrative.
“This entire process of saying there is a global problem that requires the West to shut down itself and to subsidise the rest of the world is a double whammy … They’ve been trying to achieve this at the UN for a long time,” he said.
“Only four years after the IPCC had been set up … already, the UN was planning to use [climate change] as a way of making itself into a global government … The CO2 storyline has purely been the pretext which they are using in order to establish a global government.”
To be able to establish a One World Government, “They had to say there was a global problem and only global action can solve it. That’s why they chose CO2,” he said.

In the interview below, Lord Monckton, a hereditary peer who is not permitted a seat in the House of Lords, revealed that the “global warming” and “climate change” agenda is a totalitarian communist plot to establish a global socialist government and destroy Western freedom.
He argued that the climate agenda is not about science, but – after Russia and China were bribed to get on board with the UN’s programme – is instead a narrative used by entities funded by Russia and China to impoverish Western economies, dismantle capitalism and enforce authoritarian control through international bureaucracies like the UN.
When asked if they would succeed in installing a One World Government, Lord Monckton said, yes, but it won’t last. “We will get our global government, everybody will end up hating it, and gradually it will be dismantled,” he said.
Global warming, he said, “has effectively become a new religion, or I would call it a superstition [because] it definitely isn’t true and you can prove it, but people still adhere to it … This is the largest transfer of wealth in human history from the poor to the rich; from the little guy to the big guy … This is an enrichment and an empowerment of the powerful governing class at the expense of the rest of us … Gradually, one by one, the people are waking up to this – the people have largely seen through this global warming scam for the scam that it is.”
