Iranian media released footage on Thursday from security cameras in the capital, Tehran, documenting an Israeli attack on Quds Square during Operation Rising Lion.

The footage released showed the intensity of the attack and chaos in the area immediately after.

The video shows the busy square, full of pedestrians crossing the street, and a large number of vehicles in the area. Then, within a moment, a direct hit is seen on a building on the side of the street, and immediately afterwards, a massive explosion occured in a nearby parking lot

Extent of damage the security cameras showed

Cars were torn off the ground and flew through the air, lampposts collapsed, and passersby were seen flying backwards from the force of the explosion. Within seconds, the entire area is filled with smoke and debris in all directions.

Other videos that have been released documented a large hole in the ground, a pipeline that exploded, and bulldozers working to clean up the damage.

This was one of the attacks carried out by the IDF deep inside Iranian territory during the operation, according to Iranian media, as part of a broad campaign to hit Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military targets.
