An atmosphere of impending doom is looming over Ukraine. The continuous advance of Russian forces on all fronts, the reduction of Western military support and the non-existence of combat-ready units, leave no room for optimism in Kiev.
The tone of many officials and parliamentarians has changed in Kiev. Everyone understands that "the worst is yet to come".
A while ago M. Zakharova in an interview with AFP emphasized that "Russia will not allow the existence of a Nazi state on its borders. There is no room for negotiations with the Kiev regime".
Zakharova also rejected Western scenarios for "Korea-style solutions" and noted that Russia's goals have not changed.
The president of Russia, B. Putin, reinforced this position by saying:
"Our defense factories are working more and more. This is obvious. Our industry has "momentum".
We have started to produce several times more than before.
I know we still don't have enough of everything.
But Ukraine is running out of weapons. They don't have their own factories. When you don't have your own factories, your own industry, your own ideology, your own money. You have nothing that belongs to you.
Then you have no future. But we have a future".
Statements with meaning from the Russian president about what is coming...
"If we talk about weapons, then Russia has many and a sufficient number for its reserves. Soviet weapons in Russia are unlimited in quantity."
SVR : The die is cast – The West finishes Zelensky – His 5 possible successors
The removal of Zelensky is a matter of time and now the West is working on various scenarios for who will be his successor, argues the head of Russia's Foreign Affairs Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin.
According to Naryshkin, high-ranking officials from various Western states are considering, among others, as possible candidates to replace Zelensky, the supreme commander of the armed forces of Ukraine V. Zaluzny, the mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko and the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Andrey Yermak.
On the sidelines of the meeting of EU foreign ministers held in November in Brussels, it was noted that one of the highest-ranking Ukrainian military officers could serve as such, for example, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzny or the head of the Main Directorate "Information of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov, as well as the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Andrey Yermak, the former assistant of the Ukrainian president Alexey Arestovich and the mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko" emphasized Naryshkin.
According to Naryshkin, the West has several reasons to make such a move.
"Among these reasons are Zelensky's unfulfilled promises to defeat Russia on the battlefield, the Ukrainian president's endless rudeness in dealings with foreign partners, and the unbridled nepotism and corruption in Ukraine, the scale of which shocks even Westerners politicians, who know a lot about such matters.
According to the SVR, Russia's Foreign Affairs Service, the West believes that Zelensky has gone too far, having created the image of an uncompromising supporter of war with Russia, all the way to victory.
As it is reported, because of this attitude, Zelensky will not be able, if necessary, to participate in negotiations with Russia in order to have at least a temporary "freeze" of the war.
SVR claims that according to US intelligence and given the conditions on the front, the need to replace the president of Ukraine will soon arise.
