The National Guard Bureau is working on a plan to call for thousands of volunteers from the 25,600 Guard members in Washington, D.C., to remain on duty in the city until as late as mid-March.
Guard officials announced Thursday that approximately 15,000 Air and Army National Guard troops would begin returning to their home states as early as this weekend.
Over the past two weeks, the massive Guard force flowed into D.C. to reinforce federal law enforcement for Wednesday’s inauguration of President Joe Biden, following the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol that left five people dead.
While the inauguration took place peacefully, the Guard is still supporting requests from the U.S. Secret Service and federal law enforcement. Guard officials said Thursday that approximately 7,000 troops would likely remain in D.C. through the end of January.

Then, the next Article tells of National Guard in Washington, and no one is telling the citizens "Why"? So, we can still be curious, even some concerned, hopeful, speculate, but life must go on, Anniversaries, Birthday's to celebrate, Valentine's Day, Church, loved ones to visit, work to appreciate, hobbies to explore, nature, laughs, and more, got it!
We still are on Earth, must survive evil, be prepared, make ourselves, our loved ones, as comfortable as possible during any storm; IN my opinion, when it comes to optic's, possibilities, unknown variables, why walk into a trap when you can circumvent it, rise above it, go through it, or diminish it? Someone should explain to the masses "Stupid" in lament terms. We could wish for, either a voice for clarification to optic's, or an answer to have a someone poop or gets off the pot! Until then, life does go on. Perhaps, while living our lives, some out here are bit perplexed, some frustrated, and most have ideas how they would move forward upon witnessing all the confusion, deception, illusions, abnormal occurrences? Analogy could be, if you looked at your huge backyard and a huge object had landed there, stayed there, you might be wondering, why? Is this important, concerning, bringing good fruits, or intimidating about some message sent? You have no clear idea about how to discipher that message, which makes it non-effective for understanding how to either, remove it, embrace it, or wait?
Patience is virtue, yet, while waiting, and therefore by doing nothing, this could be good or bad? Don't know, so just giving 15 minutes each day to ponder, rest of the hours are given to living the life! (: Yes, comfort in knowing God is in control! Meanwhile, where are my keys? LOL
