French President Macron And Pope Meet, Discuss Migration And Poverty - Unusually Long Meeting

French President Emmanuel Macron, accused at home of straining France's secular foundations by seeking to mend ties with the Catholic Church, discussed Europe, migration and poverty in an unusually long meeting with Pope Francis on Tuesday.
The two talked together for nearly an hour in the official papal library in the Vatican's Apostolic Palace, about twice as long as Francis usually spends with heads of state or government.
They discussed "protection of the environment, migration, and multilateral commitment to conflict prevention and resolution, especially in relation to disarmament," a Vatican statement said.
They also spoke about prospects for resolving conflicts in the Middle East and Africa and the future of Europe, it said.
At the end of the private part of the audience, Macron gave Francis a rare copy of Georges Bernanos 1936 book "Diary of a Country Priest".
"I've read this book many times and it has done me good. It is a book that I have always loved very much," the pope told Macron, 40, who was accompanied in the public parts of the meeting by his wife Brigitte.
Francis gave Macron a medallion depicting Martin of Tours, a 4th century saint who is depicted cutting his cloak in half to give it to a beggar in winter.
"This means the vocation of those who govern is to help the poor. We are all poor," Francis told Macron as he was giving him the medallion.
Macron earned himself the nickname "president of the rich" in France after scrapping a wealth tax and cutting a popular housing allowance in the first year of his mandate, hurting his popularity with the working class.
As Macron left the library, he and Francis exchanged a two-cheek kiss, another very unusual gesture between a pope and a visiting head of state.
The Vatican was expected to issue a statement later on the themes discussed during the private talks.
Two months ago, Macron called for stronger ties between the state and the Catholic Church, a move critics said blurred a line that has kept French government free of religious intervention for generations.
The issue is particularly sensitive in historically Catholic France, where matters of faith and state were separated by law in 1905 and which is now home to Europe’s largest Muslim and Jewish communities.
France’s guiding principles also hold that religious observance is a private matter, for all faiths.
Macron was raised in a non-religious family and was baptized a Roman Catholic at his own request when he was 12.
After leaving the Vatican he was installed as the "First and Only Honorary Canon" of the Rome Basilica of St John's in Lateran, which is the pope’s cathedral in his capacity as bishop of Rome.

Under a tradition that began in the 15th century when France was a monarchy, French leaders are automatically given the title.
Macron took his seat of honour in basilica's elaborately carved wooden choir stall to the applause of those in attendance, including members of the local French ex patriot community.

Big Brother In A Post-Truth World

Bilderberg 2018: Orwell’s ‘Big Brother’ In A ‘Post-Truth’ World

In our bestselling FaithWords/Hachette book, Trumpocalypse: The End-Times President, a Battle Against the Globalist Elite, and the Countdown to Armageddon, written by Pulitzer Prize-nominated investigative journalist and former Los Angeles Daily News reporter Troy Anderson and I, we explore why the elite view Trump as their greatest threat and reveal the driving secret behind Trump’s life that caused him not to sell out like so many other billionaires and members of the elite so that he could as president seek to “Make America Great Again” — not just as a marketing slogan, but from his heart.
Let’s start first, though, with a look at the agenda of the top-secret Bilderberg conference earlier this month in Turin, Italy. The published agenda for Bilderberg 2018 is:
 Populism in Europe
 The inequality challenge
 The future of work
 Artificial intelligence
 The US before midterms
 Free trade
 US world leadership
 Russia
 Quantum computing
 Saudi Arabia and Iran
 The “Post-Truth” world
 Current events

The ‘Post-Truth’ World
One of the most disturbing topics that was discussed by the globalist elite at Bilderberg 2018 is, “The ‘Post-Truth world.”
The Bilderberg 2018 “post-truth” discussion is going to center around how the globalist elite through the Bilderberg conference, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission will use science, technology and propaganda to destroy what they call “fake news,” which in most cases means the true news, or alternative media, that communicates the truth and facts based on evidence.
The mainstream media is controlled by just a handful of globalist corporations and created the propaganda term “fake news” to silence the alternative media and prevent them from exposing the elite’s lies. But with the help of Trump during his election campaign, the term “fake news” backfired and became the label for much of the mainstream media.

‘The Thought Police,’ ‘Thought Crimes,’ and Hate Speech

The globalist elite want to totally control all belief systems, opinions, the flow of information, and all thoughts in what novelist George Orwell called “The Thought Police.” In Orwell’s 1949 book, 1984, “The Thought Police” was run by a totalitarian dictatorship called “Big Brother.”
It’s interesting to note that the mainstream media in the United States, for all practical purposes, ignored Bilderberg 2018 in Turin, Italy, as they have done every year. The propaganda put out by the Bilderberg conference is Orwellian in every sense. Through the mainstream media and other institutions that they control, the Bilderberg group are masters of Orwell’s “Doublethink,” accusing people of “thought crimes” by accusing them of consuming “fake news,” the use of non-politically correct words, hate speech, etc.

‘Big Brother is Watching You’
One of the primary purposes of mass surveillance technology, which currently operates through the Internet, social media, television sets, cell phones, laptop and other computers, and numerous other electronic devices that people have no clue that they involve mass surveillance technologies, is to enforce the reality that you are constantly being monitored, so you better think and act exactly as you’ve been programmed to.
Orwell wrote, “Orthodoxy means not thinking — not needing to think. Orthodoxy is unconsciousness.” This is what “Big Brother” used in 1984, where the “Thought Police” limit people’s thinking to specific “politically correct” mind-control words, and if you say anything that it outside of that tiny shoebox of consciousness, you are punished in many ways.
This is the way our media and culture operate with things like “global warming,” which was proven to be untrue, so the they changed it to “climate change.”
Make no mistake, the globalists and Bilderberg are escalating their total war on truth through the science of persuasion and mind control designed to control the global narratives, which means censoring, destroying and removing alternative news programs and suppressing their content on social media.
The globalist elite, Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations and the ruling globalist institutions are creating what science fiction author and head of military intelligence for Great Britain H.G. Wells termed the “World Brain.” The important thing is that narratives generating the neurological pathways of the “World Brain” are created by what Nazi leader Adolf Hitler called “The Big Lie.”

Elite Creating Illusory ‘Babylon’ Paradise Via Total War on Truth
Today, the globalist elite are using technology, scientific mind control, and Artificial Intelligence to create an illusory paradise — or “Babylon” —  built on a total war against truth.

It’s no accident that Wells personally trained and hired Julian Huxley, who was the first head of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and developed a global educational program to indoctrinate the masses. Wells also trained Huxley who wrote Brave New World and developed the concept of the scientific dictatorship.

The “scientific dictatorship” is built on the premise that you can program the masses via the media using scientific mind control and propaganda.

Things To Come: Ministry Of Truth

Democrat California lawmakers are pushing legislation to create jack-boot agents of government through a “Fake News Advisory Council”—an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth’ for the news they don’t like.
After having my Capitol Press Credential revoked in 2015 and only reissued after an Open Records Act request of 10-years of press credential applications, and viable threats of a First Amendment lawsuit, it appears Democrats in the California Legislature still don’t believe in making no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.

Several of the proposed “fake news” bills say, “There is evidence to suggest that the dissemination of ‘fake news’ through social media influenced the outcome of the 2016 U.S. Presidential election,” as justification for attempting to create a government control of the media.

The ultimate plan is to expand beyond this unelected “advisory council” to create actual legislation authorizing state government to make this determination.

I know this because the original language in SB 1424 said just that: “This bill seeks to rein in the spread of false information through social media… putting the government in the position of determining what is or is not “false information…”, ...and because I wrote about this in April.

In my article, Dem Sen. Richard Pan New Bill to Force News Sites to Use ‘Fact-Checkers, I explained: “Sen. Richard Pan (D-Sacramento) is the author of the “Online False Information Act,” a new bill that would require anyone who posts any news on the Internet to verify all information through ‘fact-checkers.’ Sen. Pan does not name who these ‘fact checkers’ are, but I’m sure the State of California will create a new unelected body of elite state employees to oversee this.

“Sen. Pan’s bill would ‘require social media Web sites to disclose their ‘strategic plan to mitigate the spread of false information’” (to the California Ministry of Truth?), the first bill analysis explained.
Apparently this sounded just a little too authoritarian for some Democrat committee staffers writing the analyses, so Pan accepted amendments with the understanding that eventually this advisory board would lead to legislation allowing the state to determine what news is fake or not.
Americans are already experiencing censorship on Google, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. “Censored! How Online Media Companies Are Suppressing Conservative Speech” exposes how these major tech companies work with groups that hate the right—such as the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The State of California Ministry of Truth

Today, as amended, SB 1424 “Would require the Attorney General, not later than April 1, 2019, to establish an advisory committee to study the problem of false information on Internet-based social media platforms and to make recommendations.”

This attempt to push state-authorized news media is not limited to California’s Bolsheviks lawmakers. Washington Gov. Jay Inslee signed a bill this year that directs schools to create a policy showing how they will implement media literacy instruction in schools. The law also calls for a survey to learn how educators are already teaching news and media literacy.

Sen. Hannah Beth Jackson (D-Santa Barbara), another Orwellian authoritarian, has authored Senate Bill 947 to authorize California’s schools to teach kids how to spot “fake news.” This bill requires the CA Superintendent of Public Instruction, by December 1, 2019, and with yet another unelected advisory committee, to identify best practices and recommendations for instruction in digital citizenship, Internet safety, and media literacy.

New Polls Show U.S. Fears Of Civil War

Fears rocket for new civil war in U.S.

Amid the public harassment of Trump officials, exemplifying a sharply divided nation, 42 percent of American voters believe a second civil war is likely within the next five years, according to a new poll.

Significantly, the Rasmussen survey conducted June 21 to 24 found that 59 percent of all voters “are concerned that those opposed to President Trump’s policies will resort to violence.”
Democrats (37 percent) are more fearful than Republicans (32 percent) and voters not affiliated with either major party (26 percent) that a second civil war is on the horizon.

Most voters fear that political violence is coming from opponents of the president’s policies, just as they did in the second year of Barack Obama’s presidency, Rasmussen said.
Just before Trump’s inauguration, 50 percent of voters believed America was a more divided nation after the eight years of the Obama presidency. Since Trump’s election, the figure has risen to 55 percent.
As WND reported Tuesday, a writer for the popular progressive news website Splinter is warning supporters of President Trump that if they have a problem with the heckling of administration officials in public places, they haven’t seen anything yet, posing the prospect of 1970s-style bombings.

WND reported Tuesday that amid the recent controversy over separation of families at the border, interview guests and analysts on CNN and MSNBC have frequently branded supporters of President Trump as racists and Nazis.

EU Council President Donald Tusk: Must Prepare For 'Worst-Case Scenarios' Due To Trump

EU must 'prepare for worst-case scenarios' under Trump, top official warns

Donald Trump has been accused by the European Union of pioneering a new American doctrine in which there are “no friends, only enemies”.
Ahead of what is set to be a stormy Nato summit next week – and with EU leaders gathering in Brussels to discuss a developing transatlantic trade war among other issues – the bloc’s most senior officials expressed deep anxiety about the future.
The European Council’s president, Donald Tusk, said the EU had to now prepare for the worst due to the policies of Trump’s White House. Tusk is planning to engage in a discussion with the leaders of the 28 member states on Thursday.
Given the impending trade war, a US decision to renege on the Iran deal and the Paris climate change pact, and the repeated attack on European allies for underspending on defence, there are concerns in Brussels over the long-term stability of the relationship. Indeed it is feared that the US change in attitude could outlast Trump’s presidency.
There is also concern among British officials in Westminster over Trump’s foreign policy, particularly his impending meeting with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. A senior Kremlin aide said on Wednesday that a time and location for the summit had been agreed and would be announced on Thursday.
In a pre-summit invitation letter to the leaders of EU countries, Tusk wrote that “trans-Atlantic relations are under immense pressure due to the policies of President Trump”.
A senior EU official added: “We are more and more concerned that these are not just incidents, it starts to look like a pattern. The pattern of an American doctrine in which there are no friends only enemies.”
The US has slapped punitive tariffs on EU steel and aluminium on grounds of national security. The EU has hit back with “rebalancing measures” that hit around €2.8bn ($3.25bn) worth of American-made products.
Trump has, in turn, warned in recent days that a study into the allegedly skewed trading relationship on cars, in which German manufacturers are said to have an advantage, will soon be published.
The US president previously suggested that he would like to effectively ban the sale of Mercedes-Benz, Audi and other German cars.
Tusk said, however, in his letter to leaders before the two day summit in Brussels that “unfortunately, the divisions go beyond trade”.
He said: “It is my belief that, while hoping for the best, we must be ready to prepare our Union for worst-case scenarios.”
Earlier this month, Trump launched an unprecedented attack on Angela Merkel’s government, tweeting that “the people of Germany are turning against their leadership as migration is rocking the already tenuous Berlin coalition”.
With Brussels seeking to find a consensus among its members on how to deal with migration from Africa and elsewhere, Tusk writes: “There are voices in Europe and around the world claiming that our inefficiency in maintaining the external border is an inherent feature of the European Union, or – more broadly – of liberal democracy.
“We have seen the creation of new political movements, which offer simple answers to the most complicated questions. Simple, radical and attractive. The migration crisis provides them with a growing number of arguments.
“More and more people are starting to believe that only strong-handed authority, anti-European and anti-liberal in spirit, with a tendency towards overt authoritarianism, is capable of stopping the wave of illegal migration.”
“If people believe them, that only they can offer an effective solution to the migration crisis, they will also believe anything else they say. The stakes are very high. And time is short.”

The European commission president, Jean-Claude Juncker, has been formally invited to Washington DC to discuss trading relations, although a spokesman in Brussels said a date had yet to be fixed. Trump called Juncker “brutal” during a recent G7 meeting, where the US president appeared determined to isolate himself from his western allies.
