The EU has forsaken its goal of ensuring peace and prosperity for its members, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban declared on Friday. Warning that the bloc is considering sending troops into Ukraine, Orban insisted that Hungary will continue pushing for a ceasefire.

“Those who are pro-war have put the whole European Union in danger,” Orban told Radio Kossuth, referring to the ongoing efforts by EU member states to arm Kiev’s forces. To date, Brussels has supplied Kiev with just under $4 billion worth of arms, while individual member states have donated tanks, artillery, and in the case of Poland and Slovakia, fighter jets to Ukraine.

“We expect two things from the European Union; the first is to have lasting peace,”Orban continued. “The second thing we expect of the EU is that it should preserve the prosperity it has achieved, but in comparison war and sanctions are destroying the European economy.”

Energy costs and inflation have soared across the EU since Brussels embargoed Russian fossil fuels following the launch of Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine last February. This embargo and other sanctions have failed to cripple the Russian economy, as their proponents predicted. Instead, Russia’s economy is set to grow faster this year than that of Germany, according to IMF figures.

The prospect of global war is more urgent than the economic threat, Orban said. The Hungarian prime minister claimed in Friday’s interview that EU leaders were considering deploying a “peacekeeping” force to Ukraine. This, he argued, would be a catastrophic escalation.

“When European and American leaders say that if this continues, we could end up in a third world war, it seems incredibly exaggerated at first, but where I work and where I see the events, this is a real danger at this moment,” he said.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday that such a force would be Russia’s “direct enemies” and would be “ruthlessly destroyed” on the battlefield.

“Peace talks are not what we should be talking about now, but a ceasefire,” Orban said, explaining that hostilities must be suspended before a settlement can be worked out. Whatever happens in Ukraine, the prime minister stressed that Hungary would not get involved. “They want to squeeze us into this war,” he claimed, referring to EU leaders, but the question of “whether Hungary should take part in the war… or whether it should stay out can only be decided in one place, the Hungarian parliament.”

These systems are currently taking three patterns. First, you have Western Civilization in its legacy form...freedom, democracy, justice, governance without autocracy or rule by committee, a capitalist republic. Perfect? No, but, considering mankind's corruption, it's as good as it gets. Thousands of years of trial and error say so. There is Heaven and there is Earth. We live on Earth.

Second, there is the Chinese system, Communism with strict authoritarianism combined with capitalism. A form of government in agreement with the Chinese tradition of harmony. Harmony in the Chinese tradition is seen as the greatest virtue. Harmony even with evil is still considered harmony. How else could a people accept 20 million of their dead in its formulation?

And the third, a new feudalism... The New World Order (NWO). This NWO is being sold as, what George Soros would describe, an 'open society, liberal democracies that respect human rights', while they criticize modern Western Civilization as 'closed societies', autocratic. In this NWO, they don't want us to own anything and just submit to being completely regimented and controlled. To save the planet, of course.

To believe these globalists (such as Soros, Biden, Gates, Klaus Schwab, Obama, Fauci, the Bilderberg Group, the World Economic Forum, the UN, multi-national corporations, and the countless other NGOs) we would have to believe their lies that they, the godless mega billionaires, the powerful but politically corrupt, the power-hungry, have mysteriously become selfless and only want to serve mankind. As it is becoming more evident, they are serving us on a platter.

Now that we are past the primer, has anyone noticed that the can of worms that was leaking before Biden has now been torn open? Every type of worm has crawled out. Our nation is retreating from the Judeo-Christian values that made it great...faith in God, family, responsibility, morality, and patriotism. 

The significant drop in patriotism (38%) could be a reflection of the lack of confidence in the Biden presidency, and that would be understandable. But, it is alarming nevertheless. Our education system is in shambles and our medical establishment can no longer be fully trusted. Christians are being attacked. Tucker Carlson said it well, "If there is anything the Left hates it is being reminded that they are not God."

Our justice system is anything but. Laws are applied selectively with the stretching and downgrading of laws, with political considerations now routine.

In just a few short years, the soul of this nation has been ripped apart. When Democrats talk about saving the 'soul of our nation' you know they are destroying it. Our government, and our schools look like a spectacle from Hell, filled with every form of moral corruption and evil. It has truly become a war between God and those in dark places.

Biden nominates for the Supreme Court a gal that doesn't know what a woman is and an FAA Administrator that is not a pilot. His former head of nuclear waste, Sam Brinton showed up for work in pink cocktail dresses and high heels, steals women's luggage at airports, and Biden's Assistant Secretary of Health is an obese man pretending to be a woman, and is ugly in both genders. Our Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, allows drag queen shows on military bases, children welcome.

Biden's head of the Joint Chiefs, General Milley, and our Secretary of Defense have our troops leave Afghanistan first and then they think about the thousands of civilians left behind.

What we are seeing, with approval AND participation from our government, our military, our schools, and our institutions is a total rebellion against God and everything that is holy and good. Our leadership removes God from the public square and then when mass shootings occur they call on godless 'experts' to tell us what is wrong. Their 'wisdom' rings hollow. I am in fear, not for me, but for the future of our nation.

Our country is being dismantled and destroyed while we watch as ordered by the World Economic Forum, the New World Order, billionaire globalists and their toadies. Society will continue to deteriorate into chaos until we yell 'uncle.' This should be no surprise. We have been warned numerous times for decades that we are being infiltrated. There is no more ignoring it.

The Energy Transition Is A Delusion

The “energy transition” continues to receive thunderous applause from all the usual Beltway suspects, an exercise in groupthink fantasy amazing to behold. 

For those with actual lives to live and thus uninterested in silliness: The “energy transition” is a massive shift, wholly artificial and politicized, from conventional energy inexpensive (Table 1b and here), reliable, and very clean given the proper policy environment, toward such unconventional energy technologies as wind and solar power. 

They are expensive, unreliable, and deeply problematic environmentally in terms of toxic metal pollution, wildlife destruction, land use massive and unsightly, emissions of conventional pollutants, and in a larger context large and inexorable reductions in aggregate wealth and thus the social willingness to invest in environmental protection.

But the Beltway being what it is, the fantasists are impervious to reality, until the massive costs and dislocations and absurdities become impossible to ignore. (Witness, for example, California.) Even as they backtrack on their confident assertions that a modern economy can be powered with the energy equivalent of pixie dust, they argue that the emerging problems are little more than growing pains attendant upon short run rigidities, and all will be well given some more time, more subsidies, and more magical thinking.

Uh, no. The obstacles confronting the “energy transition” are fundamental — they are caused by the very nature of unconventional energy — driven by massive costs, technical and engineering realities, severe constraints in terms of needed physical inputs, and at a political level growing local opposition to the unconventional energy facilities central to the “transition.”

These realities — there’s that word again — are discussed in detail in a major recent paper by Mark P. Mills of the Manhattan Institute. This brief discussion cannot do it justice, but let us first quote Mills directly:

In these circumstances, policymakers are beginning to grasp the enormous difficulty of replacing even a mere 10% share of global hydrocarbons—the share supplied by Russia—never mind the impossibility of trying to replace all of society’s use of hydrocarbons with solar, wind, and battery (SWB) technologies. Two decades of aspirational policies and trillions of dollars in spending, most of it on SWB tech, have not yielded an “energy transition” that eliminates hydrocarbons. Regardless of climate-inspired motivations, it is a dangerous delusion to believe that spending yet more, and more quickly, will do so. The lessons of the recent decade make it clear that SWB technologies cannot be surged in times of need, are neither inherently “clean” nor even independent of hydrocarbons, and are not cheap. 

Nonetheless, the delusions continue. Mr. Amos Hochstein, an official at the Department of State, testified before a Senate committee recently that “The imperative [is] to diversify away from Russian energy dependence while accelerating the clean energy transition,” and that “The most effective way to reduce demand for Russian fossil fuels is to reduce dependence on all fossil fuels.”

Got that? Were the Europeans to reduce their dependence upon unreliable deliveries of Russian natural gas, and increase their dependence upon unconventional energy even more unreliable, there will result an increase in European “energy security.” Wow.

This is utter delusion, as Mills demonstrates incontrovertibly. But the Beltway continues in its imitation of George Orwell’s world, in which “War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery, and Ignorance Is Strength.” The “energy transition” translation: “Expensive Energy Is Cheap, Environmentally Destructive Energy Is Clean, and Central Planning Will Yield Utopia.” Only fools can believe such things. Much of the Beltway believes them. 

"Wind Power Fails On Every Count": Oxford Scientist Explains The Math

Wind power has been historically and scientifically unreliable, claims an Oxford University mathematician and physicist, with his calculations revealing the government to be pursuing a “bluster of windfarm politics” while discarding numerical evidence.

After the decision to cut down on fossil fuels was made at the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris, the “instinctive reaction” around the world was to embrace renewables, Professor Emeritus Wade Allison, who is also a researcher at CERN, said in a 2023 paper (pdf).

Allison noted that because solar power is “extremely weak,” it was inadequate to “sustain even a small global population with an acceptable standard of living” before the Industrial Revolution.

“Today, modern technology is deployed to harvest these weak sources of energy. Vast ‘farms’ that monopolise the natural environment are built, to the detriment of other creatures. Developments are made regardless of the damage wrought. Hydro-electric schemes, enormous turbines and square miles of solar panels are constructed, despite being unreliable and ineffective; even unnecessary,” Allison said in the report, published by the Global Warming Policy Foundation.

“In particular, the generation of electricity by wind tells a disappointing story. The political enthusiasm and the investor hype are not supported by the evidence, even for offshore wind, which can be deployed out of sight of the infamous My Back Yard,” he wrote. “What does such evidence actually say?”

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, wind power generated more than 9 percent of the net total of the country’s energy in 2021 and is the largest source of renewable power in the country. Over 70,000 turbines generate enough power to serve the equivalent of 43 million American homes, the department says.

There are 120,000 jobs related to wind energy in the United States, the Energy Department says, and it’s one of the fastest-growing jobs in the country.

Allison explained that wind energy is measured based on the amount of moving air and the speed of the air as it reaches the area swept by the turbine blades.

The scientist calculated that, at 100 percent efficiency, if the wind blows at 10 meters per second (about 22 mph), the power is 600 watts per square meter. Hence, to deliver 3,200 million watts, the same output as Hinkley Point C—a planned zero-carbon nuclear power station in England—there would need to be 5.5 million square meters of turbine swept area.

“That should be quite unacceptable to those who care about birds and to other environmentalists,” Allison wrote.

The actual performance of the technology is much worse than the calculations made based on 100 percent efficiency, he said.

“Because the power carried by the wind depends on the third power of the wind speed, if the wind drops to half speed, the power available drops by a factor of 8,” he said. “Almost worse, if the wind speed doubles, the power delivered goes up 8 times, and as a result the turbine has to be turned off for its own protection.”

Foreign Minister Eli Cohen urged his Greek and Cypriot counterpart to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps as a terror entity hours after the IRGC accused the IDF of assassinating its military adviser Milad Haydari outside of Damascus.

"Iran is a danger to the world. Iranian terrorism harms the Middle East, Ukraine, Europe and other places," Cohen said.

He spoke Friday in Nicosia as he met with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias. He urged them to take action against the IRGC and to help sway the European Union to label it as a terror organization.

"Iran is a danger to the world. Iranian terrorism harms the Middle East, Ukraine, Europe and other places."

He highlighted Tuesday’s arrest in Greece of two men suspected members of a group that was planning an attack against an Israeli restaurant in Athens, a case which Israel said was orchestrated from Iran.

On Friday the IRGC vowed that Israel’s "criminal attack" on the outskirts of Damascus at dawn would not go "unanswered," the semi-official Iranian news outlet Tasnim reported.

There was no immediate statement from Israel, which usually declines to comment on reports of strikes in Syria, where it operates aerially against Iranian targets. The air strike was the sixth attack by Israel in Syria this month, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Iran was only of many topics the foreign ministers discussed during their trilateral meeting. Cohen said that the cooperative relationship between the three countries was very important to Israel, particularly in light of the global challenges such as security and opportunities, such as energy.

The Russian Security Council earlier stressed that the country’s new foreign policy concept reflects a new approach to Moscow’s relations with the West.

President Vladimir Putin announced on Friday that he had penned a decree adopting Russia’s new foreign policy concept.

"Today, I signed a decree approving the updated concept of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation," Putin said at a meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council.

Putin said that the Russian Foreign Ministry along with other departments had worked hard to bring the new foreign policy concept in line with modern realities.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for his part underscored that the document directly calls the US the main instigator of anti-Russian politics in the world.

"The existential nature of the threats to our country’s security and development, created by the actions of unfriendly states, has been recognized. The US has been directly named as the main instigator of this anti-Russian line, and on the whole, the West’s policy, aimed at weakening Russia in every possible way, is characterized as a new type of hybrid war," Lavrov told a Russian Security Council meeting on Friday.

He added that the logic behind Russia’s new foreign policy concept reflects the revolutionary changes in international affairs.

"The logic of the document [...] reflects the changing geopolitical realities, in fact, revolutionary advances on the outer contour, which received visible acceleration with the start of a special military operation," Lavrov underlined.

He also said that Moscow’s new foreign policy concept suggests using the military to fend off or prevent an armed attack on Russia and its allies. 

"Thus, we unequivocally declare that we will defend the right of the Russian people to [their] existence and free development," the foreign minister maintained.

According to Putin’s decree, "the new foreign policy concept is a document of strategic planning that represents a system of views on Russia’s national interests in the foreign policy sphere, as well as basic principles, strategic goals, and priority areas for the Kremlin’s foreign policy."
