Australian parliamentarian John Ruddick says that ending globalist institutions like NATO, the United Nations and the European Union is a massive step towards renewal for Australia, Europe and America.
Rudduck also called the man-made climate change movement the “new communism.”
The second Make Europe Great Again (“MEGA”) conference was held at the European Parliament Building in Brussels, Belgium, this week on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was organised by European anti-globalist groups to bring together leaders from various countries. Discussions focussed on preserving identity, freedom and the values that have shaped European societies, as well as strategies to combat the globalist left’s influence.
Hosted by the Alliance for Unified Romanians and the European Conservatives and Reformists, the summit welcomed over 500 leaders from countries including the UK, Spain, Italy, France, Romania, Argentina, Sweden and Poland.
John Ruddick, an Australian parliamentarian from New South Wales, attended the event and joined Liberty Sentinel on the sidelines to give his thoughts.
“I think the extraordinary rise and recent success of Donald Trump is going to trickle down to the rest of the world,” Mr. Ruddick said citing Margaret Thatcher as the last time this phenomenon occurred. “The Trump effect has shifted the whole world a few degrees to the right, the rational right.”
In the 1990s, Australia implemented significant gun law reforms known as the National Firearms Agreement (“NFA”). The NFA introduced stricter regulations on gun ownership which effectively removed the right for many Australians to own certain types of firearms and made it more difficult to legally possess guns.
“[The EU] is now a very powerful political organisation … it’s more powerful in many ways than most of the national parliaments of its member states. So [the Libertarian Party of Australia is] very against the European Union, what it’s morphed into,” he said.
Speaking of NATO, Mr. Ruddick said, “I’m absolutely convinced it is largely driven by money. These defence contractors – it’s the biggest industry in the world, the biggest legal industry in the world.”
Mr. Ruddick said that the reason why the West and Russia are not currently “friends” is because of Bill Clinton. “Silly Bill Clinton in 1997 got hoodwinked by the defence contractors who said, ‘Oh we gotta expand NATO East’. The defence contractors were doing that because when Poland joined NATO then Poland had to reorganise its military to be able to fit in with the NATO protocols, so they spent a lot of money. And the defence contractors liked that.”
“And now [NATO] has surrounded Russia,” he said. “We should be trying to find ways to have long-term peace and goodwill with Russia.”
Liberty Sentinel’s Andrew Muller then asked Mr. Ruddick what his thoughts were on the United Nations (“UN”) and the climate change agenda.
“I know climate politics is a big deal in the United States; it’s five to ten times bigger in Australia. It’s obsessive,” Mr. Ruddick said.
“I call it ‘global boiling’ because the UN Secretary-General, the Portuguese guy, a couple of years ago there were a few hot days in Europe – these things happen, it happened in the Roman times – but during those three hot days, unusually hot days, he said, ‘The era of global warming is over we’re now entering the era of global boiling’.”
“That was so absurd,” Mr Ruddick said laughing, “that no one has repeated it since. But he hasn’t retracted it and he was the Un Secretary-General. So, I’m thinking, ‘Global boiling it is because it’s absurd’. I’ll stop using it if the Secretary-General says, ‘Oh well, I did go too far there’.”
Mr. Ruddick recommends people watch a film released in 2024 by Joel Gilbert titled ‘The Climate According to AI Al Gore’. We have embedded a trailer for the film below Mr. Ruddick’s conversation with Liberty Sentinel.

The old Communism - Lenin's useful idiots, Stalin's purges, Mao's cultural revolution and Khruschev banging his shoe at the UN...we shall overcome.
