Israel's response against Iran will be 'deadly, precise and surprising,' vows DM Gallant

As the Iranian regime braces for an Israeli response to its missile assault last week, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant vowed that the Israeli strike will be “deadly, precise and surprising.”

During a visit to the IDF's Visual Intelligence Unit 9900 on Wednesday, Gallant lauded the soldiers for their work and also spoke about the Iranian missile attack and Israel’s upcoming response.

“You saw how the Iranians attacked us a short time ago, these attacks were aggressive, but these attacks failed because they were not precise attacks. The Air Force was not harmed, all the runways are operational, our activities are ongoing, not a single aircraft was damaged, not a single soldier or civilian was harmed."

“On the other hand, when we look at your abilities, the abilities of the IDF, of the Intelligence Division, of the Air Force, and the entire [defense] establishment – you are accurate and powerful," Gallant added.

“Our strike will be powerful, precise, and above all – surprising. They will not understand what happened and how it happened,” the defense minister said.

After Iran's missile assault last week, using some 180 ballistic missiles, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that the regime would 'pay' for its attack.

“Iran made a big mistake – and it will pay for it. The regime in Tehran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and to exact a price from our enemies,” Netanyahu said.

The Biden administration has since sought to limit the IDF's response and prevent Israel from striking the regime’s nuclear program and oil facilities.
