The retaliatory action would be calibrated to avoid the perception of “political interference in the U.S. elections,” the official familiar with the matter said, signaling Netanyahu’s understanding that the scope of the Israeli strike has the potential to reshape the presidential race.
So the Biden-Harris administration appears to have traded deployment of THAAD anti-ballistic missile defenses in exchange for Israel not taking out Iran’s nuclear program… to avoid impacting the election.
I remember not all that long when the same party doing this went mad over a phone call with Ukraine. Now they’re actively setting foreign policy and protecting Iran’s nukes based on the impact such a move would have on the election.
