Moscow on Monday pulled out of a grain deal that allowed Ukraine to export grain through the Black Sea after two people died in a blast hitting a bridge linking Crimea with Russia.

An angry Russia notified the United Nations, Turkey, and Ukraine about its decision, which was expected to impact millions of people as Ukraine is one of the world’s breadbaskets.

Additionally, Putin vowed to retaliate for the alleged “terrorist” attack on the Kerch bridge that reportedly killed two people while their daughter was injured.

Moscow blames Kyiv, but Ukraine’s military called the latest reported incident on the bridge a “provocation.”
