Rumors Of War Increasing Rapidly: NATO Increases Rapid Response Forces Dramatically, Russia Responds

NATO Increases Number Of Rapid Response Forces On High Readiness To Over 300,000

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is increasing the number of its NATO Response Force troops at high readiness from 40,000 to "well over 300,000", according to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg on Monday.

NATO now says that Russia has walked away from dialogue, and has now become a direct threat, choosing "confrontation instead of dialogue". "Russia has walked away from the partnership and the dialogue that NATO has tried to establish with Russia for many years," he stated. "They have chosen confrontation instead of dialogue. We regret that - but of course, then we need to respond to that reality".

"I expect the allies will state clearly that Russia poses a direct threat to our security, to our values, to the rules-based international order" Stoltenberg said. "Together, this constitutes the biggest overhaul of our collective deterrence and defense since the Cold War".

Russian state media Channel 1 talks about Lithuania, NATO Article 5, military presence being established on the Belarusian border and targeting oil tankers in the Netherlands. Article 5 is the cornerstone of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) treaty signed in 1949 that states that if one member of the alliance is attacked, it is seen as an attack on all members of the NATO alliance.

Transcript from the Russian state media video:

"We understand perfectly well that when the Armed Forces achieve the goals set by the president, and reach the western borders of Ukraine, the rest will certainly not be about Ukraine.

And now about Europe and its survival. A military presence has to be established on the border with Belarus, in Kaliningrad, it already exists and is combat ready. It can potentially create a safe corridor for our supply chain to Kaliningrad. It has to be created, without a doubt.

Those who are waving their Article 5 in the air [NATO] should roll it up and shove it you-know-where. It's our territory and we'll decide what to bring in, regarding Europe, and appropriate measures that could be taken.

Yes, the taming of Lithuania is being considered, but it's really not about Lithuania. No one asks them, they are given commands. The issue is with their owners. No less than 40% of crude oil is imported and processed by Netherlands in its coastal areas. It's such a small spot that it would be hard to miss.

When we say that nuclear weapons might be used, maybe, maybe not from another side. I assure you that when a spigot closes from here, and crashes over there, the main supply chain is via oil tankers. We don't even need a Kalibr, a torpedo would do it. Especially if it's docked at a port. It will burn along with all of the port's infrastructure.

Europe will not only freeze, but totally croak. Go ahead and send an F-35 to Ukraine. We'll show you what our S-300, S-400 are capable of. Then, Lockheed Martin will be carried out feet first. We're ready to take you all down".
