Covid Restrictions 'Could Go On Indefinitely'

Rep. Jordan: Coronavirus Restrictions ‘Could Go on Indefinitely’

The Biden Administration’s deep state health advisors won’t say when they’d be willing to give Americans their God-given rights back – so the coronavirus restrictions on liberty could go on forever, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) warns.

“They won’t give us an answer – which means this could go on indefinitely.” Jordan told Newsmax TV on Friday, discussing his contentious exchange the day before with Pres. Biden’s top health advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci. At a House hearing on the pandemic, Rep. Jordan unsuccessfully pressed Fauci to explain the conditions that must be met in order to restore the citizens’ freedom.

“I was asking a simple question: when does it stop, when do we get our God-given rights back?” Jordan explained, noting that restrictions on American liberties have now been in place for an entire year.

“They won’t give us an answer – which means this could go on indefinitely,” Rep. Jordan said. “Every single right you have and American citizens have, under the United States Constitution, under the First Amendment, has been assaulted over the past year.”

“All five of your liberties under the First Amendment have been attacked,” Jordan said, citing infringements on Americans’ rights, such as freedom of religion, assembly – and speech:

“And, of course, we know what they do to people in the press and people who express their free speech rights and, maybe, contradict or say something that Dr. Fauci and the CDC doesn’t like – you get censored, you get shut down.”
