IDF Targets Terror Arsonists In Gaza Amid Border Clashes

IDF Targets Terror Arsonists in Gaza Amid Border Clashes, Balloon Attacks

Late Saturday night, an IAF aircraft targeted a cell of terror arsonists launching incendiary balloons into southern Israel. In addition, clashes were reported at multiple sites along the Gaza border near Jabalya and Khan Younis, in northern and southern Gaza respectively.

It’s 11:15PM. Children in southern Israel are sound asleep while minutes away Palestinians in Gaza are hurling bombs & grenades at the border fence with Israel, attempting to breach it and reach these children. Our troops are there to make sure that none of them are successful. pic.twitter.com/xNSwvQVGu0

Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters at the mobs who stormed the security fence, the IDF said, but no further details were available.

Incidents at the border have increased from weekly events to near-daily attacks. The number of Gaza Arabs attempting to storm the security fence and the number of arson attacks is also on the rise.
