Satellite images taken this week of North Korea’s Sohae rocket launch site show apparent fueling activity seen in the past one to two weeks before a rocket launch, a US think tank said on Friday.
North Korea has told UN agencies it will launch a rocket carrying what it called an earth observation satellite some time between 8 and 25 February, triggering international opposition from governments that see it as a long-range missile test.
Commercial satellite images from Wednesday and Thursday show the arrival of tanker trucks at the launch pad, said Washington-based 38 North, a North Korea-monitoring project. It said the presence of the trucks likely indicated the filling of tanks within bunkers at the site rather than a rocket itself.
A US defense official said on Thursday activity detected at the site was consistent with a launch in the time frame given by Pyongyang. On Friday, a US government source said US intelligence agencies believed North Korea could be ready by the US Super Bowl kickoff on Sunday, which will be Monday Korea time.
Coming so soon after North Korea’s fourth nuclear test on 6 January, a rocket launch would raise concern that it plans to fit nuclear warheads on its missiles, giving it the capability to strike South Korea, Japan and possibly the US. West Coast.
Experts have long warned that in the event of an EMP attack upon America, up to or more than 90% of Americans would die in the following year to 18 months due to a total breakdown of our electricity dependent society. Even though South Korea and Japan are concerned about this latest provocation by North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, we learn in this new story that the launch of a "satellite" between February 8 and 25 is actually aimed at 'crushing the US' and Washington DC if we're to believe anything at all that the North Korean leader says. He's also threatened to wipe out all of the US, all at once. Only an EMP attack would likely accomplish such a result.
However, of the greatest concern to national security officials here in America is the fact that we will be unable to determine if the North Korean launch is a test or a 'real attack' until it is likely too late. Adding to that is the fact that we have very little defense to the south, the trajectory that the North Koreans are launching this satellite. From expert Henry Cooper, who was a former director of the US Strategic Defense Initiative.:
Cooper told G2 Bulletin the United States lacks sufficient anti-ballistic missile defenses in the southern part of the U.S., especially if the satellite turns out to be a nuclear device that could orbit above the U.S. and explode at a high altitude, affecting the lives of all Americans.
He said it would be difficult to distinguish a test from an actual attack, and the best way to counter such a threat to the U.S. homeland is to knock out the missile at the time it begins its trajectory over a southern polar route. But he acknowledged such an action would be politically unpalatable.
However, if the North Korean satellite turned out to be a nuclear device and is detonated over 100 miles above the U.S, it could destroy all life-sustaining critical infrastructures that rely on the national grid, potentially leading to the death of most Americans within the following year.
North Korea's Rodong Sinmun newspaper – a mouthpiece for the warmongering regime – said: "The reason why we've had the nuclear deterrence is not for dropping nuclear bombs on people in the South.
"Our nuclear weapons program is aimed at crushing Washington's bid to stage a nuclear war and securing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula."
The comforting statement comes after the North threatened to detonate a thermonuclear weapon 100 times more powerful than any of America's nukes.
Tyrant Kim Jong-un threatened to "wipe out the US all at once" after the nuclear test on January 6.
The US and South Korea have cast doubts the North tested a full H-bomb – explaining the smaller blast indicated a standard atomic bomb or a hybrid "boosted fission" bomb.
While officials have claimed that the recent North Korean bomb test was likely NOT a full H-bomb as stated above, if true, that fact alone indicates to other experts that what the North Korean dictator recently tested was in preparation for an EMP strike as such a bomb would not need to have such a high yield as was previously reported on ANP.:
According to Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, the H-bomb recently detonated in a test by North Korea fits well within the requirements of a 'Super EMP', a device that could nearly instantly send America back hundreds of years and wipe out our electrical grid over a huge portion of the country according to this story from the Washington Examiner. In fact, according to Pry, the US is not only totally defenseless against such an attack but North Korea has practiced such EMP attacks against America already.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced on February 2nd that he approves of U.S. ‘Defense’ Secretary Ash Carter’s proposal to quadruple U.S. armaments and troops in Europe, against ‘Russian aggression.’
Secretary Carter said earlier that same day, in his announcement of America’s arming for war against Russia:
We are reinforcing our posture in Europe to support our NATO allies in the face of Russia’s aggression. In Pentagon parlance, this is called the European Reassurance Initiative and after requesting about $800 million for last year, this year we’re more than quadrupling it for a total of $3.4 billion in 2017.
That will fund a lot of things: more rotational U.S. forces in Europe, more training and exercising with our allies, more preposition and war-fighting gear and infrastructure improvements to support all this.
And when combined with U.S. forces already in and assigned to Europe — which are also substantial — all of this together by the end of 2017 will let us rapidly form a highly capable combined arms ground force that can respond across that theater, if necessary.
However, the truth is: Russia is not expanding to NATO’s borders; NATO is expanding to Russia’s borders. The baldness of the Western lie to the contrary is an insult to Westerners’ intelligence.
The U.S. is preparing for an invasion of Russia.
“By the end of 2017,” the U.S. will be prepared to invade Russia.
Secretary Carter went on to say:
Russia and China are our most stressing competitors. They have developed and are continuing to advance military system[s] that seek to threaten our advantages in specific areas. And in some case[s], they are developing weapons and ways of wars that seek to achieve their objectives rapidly, before they hope, we can respond.
Because of this and because of their actions to date, from Ukraine to the South China Sea, DOD has elevated their importance in our defense planning and budgeting.
Since he is a Secretary of ‘Defense’ instead of a Secretary of Offense, he immediately added:
While we do not desire conflict of any kind with either of these nations — and let me be clear.
The U.S, in post-Soviet, post communist, Russia, has turned around and become the aggressor — against the now democratic nation of Russia. (And Putin’s approval-rating from the Russian people is at least 80%, whereas Obama’s approval-rating from the American people is near 50%.) We’ve switched roles. The U.S. has turned to dictatorship, while Russia has turned to democracy. It’s a super-switcheroo. ‘Democracy’ in the U.S has become, during recent decades, the election of Presidents and congresspersons who were campaigning on lies, and who then actually delivered more like the opposite, as their actual governmental policies.
A good example of this is that when Mr. Obama was campaigning for re-election to the Presidency in 2012, he outright mocked his opponent Mitt Romney’s asserting (2:22 on the video) that, “Russia, this is without question our number one geopolitical foe.” But the moment that Obama became re-elected, Obama activated a 1957 CIA plan to overthrow Russia’s ally Bashar al-Assad in Syria, and a more-recent CIA and State Department plan to overthrow the actually neutralist Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in Ukraine and replace him with a rabidly anti-Russian government. The head of Stratfor called it “the most blatant coup in history,” and it was an extremely bloody coup, followed by a civil war — and economic collapse, and even more corruption there.
In addition, Obama carried out a French plan to overthrow Russia’s ally Muammar Gaddafi in Syria. All of these plans were strongly welcomed by Russia’s main oil-market competitors, all of them fundamentalist Sunni Arab financial backers of jihadists: the Saud royal family of Saudi Arabia, and the Thani royal family of Qatar, as well as the Sabah royal family of Kuwait, and the six royal families of UAE.
