AI, Elite Visions, Dehumanization of Humanity and the Useless Class

Harari’s Warning: A New “Useless Class” Emerges

In influential circles tied to global institutions, a chilling phrase has entered the conversation: the rise of a “useless class.” Historian and World Economic Forum advisor Yuval Noah Harari has repeatedly warned that rapid advances in artificial intelligence and automation will render vast numbers of people economically irrelevant. In his book Homo Deus and various public statements, Harari describes this emerging group not merely as unemployed but as unemployable, stripped of meaningful contributions to the economic and political systems that define modern power.

Superfluous People: What Happens When AI Replaces Humanity

He has pointed out that in the 21st century, the central economic question may become what to do with “superfluous people” once algorithms outperform humans in most tasks. This is not abstract futurism. It reflects observable trends: AI already displaces roles in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, coding, analysis, and creative fields. Entire professions face obsolescence. When millions cannot secure stable employment, societies risk labelling them burdens rather than citizens with inherent worth.

Echoes of “Useless Eaters”: From Nazi Eugenics to Modern Efficiency

This language echoes darker historical precedents. The term “useless eaters” originated in early 20th-century eugenics and Nazi propaganda, where authorities deemed the disabled, elderly, or unproductive as drains on resources unworthy of life. Those regimes justified sterilization, euthanasia, and gruesome experiments on living humans deemed irrelevant, using economic and efficiency as grounds. While today’s discussions avoid explicit calls for elimination, the underlying logic of sorting human value by productivity should alarm anyone who values individual dignity.

Schwab’s Fourth Industrial Revolution: Mass Redundancy Ahead

Harari’s warnings align with broader elite conversations about technological disruption. Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, has addressed the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its potential to create redundancy for many workers. The concern is real: without robust adaptation, large segments of the population could become dependent on state or corporate systems, vulnerable to control.

Georgia Guidestones: The Elite Blueprint for Drastic Population Cuts

This feeds into visions of a restructured world. The Georgia Guidestones, a controversial monument erected in 1980 in Georgia and later destroyed, laid out ten guiding principles for humanity. Its first commandment declared: “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.” That explicit target of drastic population reduction (over 90%) has fueled suspicions about long-term agendas among some influential figures who see overpopulation as a crisis. It underscores a mindset that prioritizes global limits over unfettered human flourishing.

15-Minute Cities and Depopulation: Easier Rule Over Fewer Subjects

Critics argue that depopulation pressures, whether through policy, technology, or subtle incentives, serve a strategic purpose. A smaller global population would make centralized rule far simpler for oligarchs and technocrats. Concepts like 15-minute cities, promoted as sustainable urban planning where residents access work, food, healthcare, and leisure within a short walk or bike ride, illustrate the point. Proponents highlight reduced emissions and convenience. Yet skeptics see them as prototypes for contained zones: easier to monitor, restrict movement within or between, and enforce compliance through digital systems and surveillance. In a depopulated world with AI handling production, the need for expansive human labor and freedom of movement diminishes. Elites could manage compact, dependent populations more effectively, where dissent or excess can be easily isolated.

UK Govt Urges Farmers to Stop Raising Cattle & Grow Lentils Instead in Net Zero Climate Push

UK Govt Urges Farmers to Stop Raising Cattle & Grow Lentils Instead in Net Zero Climate Push
TOBY YOUNG

Labour has urged British farmers to stop raising cattle and grow lentils instead as part of a Net Zero push. GB News has more.

The Government published its highly-anticipated ‘Farming Roadmap’ on Wednesday, outlining its long-term vision for Britain’s agriculture sector.

The 71-page document outlined the Government’s intention to help British farmers wind down high-emission farming – including cattle – and move towards “growing oilseeds and pulses” for planet-based products.

“Farmers will play a critical role in delivering this transition by adopting practices that reduce emissions while sustaining productive, commercially viable businesses,” the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) wrote.

The roadmap is widely regarded as a bid from Labour to get back in rural Britain’s good books amid continued fury over Rachel Reeves’s family farm tax.

However, cattle farmers have hit out at the plans, insisting that land used to raise their animals would not be suitable for growing plant-based items, such as lentils.

Henry Graham, a Berkshire-based farmer who owns a mob of 400 cattle, told the Telegraph: “The idea of somebody ploughing up pasture to grow lentils is ludicrous.”

He insisted that chemicals used on lentils would be unable to be sprayed near water courses where cattle graze because it would simply be too wet.

According to figures from the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, the number of Britons adopting a plant-based diet has started to level off.

Hamas Crushes Planned Gaza Protests Calling for End to Terror Group’s Rule

Hamas Crushes Planned Gaza Protests Calling for End to Terror Group’s Rule

Hamas moved aggressively Friday to suppress planned protests across the Gaza Strip, using arrests, intimidation, armed patrols, and threats of deadly punishment to prevent Gazans from publicly challenging the terror group’s rule.

The demonstrations, promoted by activists as the “June 26 Peaceful Revolution,” had been planned for multiple locations throughout Gaza. Organizers called on Hamas to disarm and hand civil administration of the territory to a transitional governing authority.

Instead, streets in several areas were reported unusually empty after days of pressure by Hamas security forces and affiliated terrorist groups. Residents and activists said fear spread across Gaza as suspected protest organizers and supporters were threatened, summoned, beaten, detained, or placed under house arrest.

According to reports, Hamas personnel were deployed across key areas of the Strip, including intersections and public gathering points, while attempting to avoid highly visible formal deployment because of concerns that Israeli forces could target operatives.

A Gaza resident from the Rimal neighborhood, speaking anonymously out of fear for his safety, said Hamas forces were “kidnapping people and threatening people,” adding that the atmosphere inside Gaza had become one of deep terror.

“They’ve been arresting people and kidnapping people from the streets,” the resident said, according to The Algemeiner. “Things are very bad.”

Reports said Hamas security personnel also detained or rounded up people at several hospitals, including Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib, a Gaza-born senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and a critic of Hamas, said Hamas had deployed hundreds of operatives across Gaza to crush the planned demonstrations. He said the terror group’s police, intelligence units, and Al-Qassam Brigades militants were mobilized to prevent public dissent.

The planned demonstrations were also met with religious pressure. The Association of Palestinian Scholars issued a ruling warning against participation and accusing demonstrators of assisting Israel. Under Hamas rule, accusations of collaboration with Israel can carry the death penalty.

The warning appeared designed to silence Gazans by portraying protest activity not as civil dissent, but as treason.

The crackdown highlights the continuing grip Hamas maintains over Gaza nearly two decades after seizing control of the territory in 2007. While Hamas has long portrayed itself as the defender of Palestinians, critics inside and outside Gaza say the terror group has ruled through fear, silenced opposition, embedded its forces among civilians, and brought repeated devastation upon the people it claims to represent.

Hezbollah Rejects Israel-Lebanon Agreement, Calls It Invalid

Hezbollah Rejects Israel-Lebanon Agreement, Calls It Invalid - Leader

On Friday, representatives of Lebanon and Israel signed a US-brokered framework agreement in Washington aimed at resolving the conflict.

"This agreement is not valid. The provisions of the Iranian-US memorandum of understanding must be implemented. The framework agreement concluded in Washington is humiliation, disgrace and a loss of sovereignty," Qassem said in a video address broadcast by Lebanese television channel Al-Manar.

The provision linking the withdrawal of Israeli troops to Hezbollah's disarmament was an extremely dangerous proposal that crossed all "red lines," he added.

Earlier this month, Reuters reported, citing a US official, that Israel and Hezbollah had agreed to a ceasefire starting June 19.
However, exchanges of strikes continued on June 20. Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces Eyal Zamir described the ceasefire as fragile and called on troops to be prepared for renewed hostilities.

US launches fresh strikes on Iran: Tehran had ‘chance to honor the ceasefire but elected not to’

Times of Israel is liveblogging Sunday

US Central Command, which oversees American military forces in the Middle East, confirms launching fresh strikes on Iran after it attacked a commercial oil tanker with a drone.

In a statement, CENTCOM says Iran had been “given a chance to honor the ceasefire agreement but elected not to” by attacking the ship, which followed US strikes in response to a previous Iranian attack.

CENTCOM says the latest strikes “targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities, and minelayer capabilities.”

“Commercial vessel transits through the Strait of Hormuz continue,” it adds. “US forces remain vigilant, lethal, and ready.”

Trump warns US may be ‘forced to militarily complete the job’ in Iran after new strikes

US President Donald Trump confirms that the US military struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites for violating a US-Iran ceasefire agreement.

“There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started,” Trump writes on Truth Social.

“If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist.”

Kuwait, Bahrain hit with new missile and drone attacks after US strikes on Iran

Kuwait came under attack from “hostile” missiles and drones, the country’s army says, while in Bahrain, air-raid sirens sound following fresh US strikes against Iran.

“Kuwaiti air defenses are currently engaging hostile missile and drone attacks. Everyone is urged to adhere to the safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities,” Kuwait’s army writes on X.

In Bahrain, which hosts a major US naval base, air raid sirens have gone off, the interior ministry says, calling on residents to “remain calm and head to the nearest safe place.”
