US President Donald Trump fumes at Iran following overnight US strikes on the country in response to Tehran’s attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, saying he thinks the US-Iran memorandum of understanding “is over.”

“To me, I think it’s over,” Trump says of the MOU while taking questions from reporters ahead of a summit of NATO leaders in Ankara. “I don’t want to deal with them. They’re scum.”

“They’re sick people. They’re led by sick people. And they’re vicious, violent people. And if they had a nuclear weapon, they’d use it. As far as I’m concerned, it’s over,” the president says.

He condemns Tehran for attacking ships despite assurance by the  US that it wouldn’t escalate the conflict during funeral processions of Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei, who was assassinated at the start of the US-Israeli war: “We said, ‘Go and do your funeral stuff,’ and instead of that, they start shooting rockets at ships yesterday. And so we hit them very hard last night, very hard.”

Trump also charges that Iran seeks to assassinate him, saying he appears on certain “lists” in Iran. It’s unclear what Trump refers to exactly, though circulating footage of Iranian mourners calling for his death at Khamenei’s funeral has received widespread attention this week.

“They want to take out the US leader — me. I’m on whatever list. I saw this morning I’m on every single one of their lists. And so far, I guess I’ve been a bit lucky, but maybe that doesn’t last very long,” he says.

“These are evil, sick people. And we have to root out that cancer. That cancer. You know what you do? You’ve got to cut out cancer early. And that’s the way I feel,” the president says.

Data Center Emits Constant Screeching Noise Directly Into Man’s House

Set foot in Dowagiac, a sleepy town in Southwest Michigan, and you'll immediately notice two things that stand out in the otherwise rustic surroundings: a massive 30 megawatt data center — and the constant ear piercing noise it emits.

No one knows this better than the Marjorie and Billy Finn, a married couple who live right in front of the sprawling complex. The constant hum is like a jet engine, Billy Finn told MLive. Using his own decibel meter in a video taken by the newspaper, he measures the noise levels from his porch, which hover around 60 decibels. That's roughly the equivalent of a noisy dishwasher, except that sound is a constant presence everywhere outside.

"It's like we're living in a prison in our own yard, in our own house," Marjorie Finn told the outlet, adding that she can even hear the hum while she tries to sleep at night.

Two other residents are suing the data center, Hyperscale Data, saying that their homes are being "physically invaded" by the "excessive noise" from its facility, MLive reported. (The Finns were approached to join the lawsuit but declined.) It doesn't matter if you close the windows or turn up the TV — you'll hear its constant screeching anyway, the suit alleges.

It also accuses Hyperscale Data of failing to implement adequate soundproofing measures, like the concrete walls that surround highways in residential areas.

According to Billy Finn, the noise is actually getting louder. He's been tracking the decibel levels on Louise Avenue since 2022, when Hyperscale Data began operating. Back then, the sound level was around 52 decibels. Today, they're typically around 61 decibels, and sometimes go as high as 78 decibels, he told the paper.

Inside his house, it goes down to 39 decibels, which is about the level of a quiet office or library, according to the American Academy of Audiology. But it jumps to 62 decibels when he opens the door, sounding a bit like a passenger jet taxiing on the runway in the distance.

"It's [like] a constant major city street where you have a lot of vehicle traffic," Billy Finn said.

Noise pollution isn't an uncommon complaint about data centers. The Nashville Zoo in Tennessee warned that the construction of a nearby data center could harm the animals living in captivity. The Environmental and Energy Study Institute claims that they emit at ultra-low frequencies that can possibly induce a range of symptoms over time such as anxiety, nausea, though the science on this is iffy.

Sixty-two decibels won't damage the ears, but over time it can spike your stress levels and has even been linked with cardiac problems, according to Kim Kragt, lead audiologist for Bronson Hospital.

The U.S. military attacked Iran early Wednesday after it said Tehran struck three ships in the Strait of Hormuz, part of an American effort that also revoked the Islamic Republic's ability to openly sell crude oil in the world market.

Iran immediately warned Washington it would "take whatever measures it deems necessary," raising the risks that an interim agreement in the war halting fighting could break down, putting the wider Middle East again at risk of a wider conflict. Bahrain, home to the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet, sounded its missile alert sirens Wednesday morning after the American attack on Iran.

The attacks on shipping and the resulting strikes on Iran came during the dayslong funeral for Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed Feb. 28 in the war's first moments at age 86. The funeral, which ends Thursday, had been thought to be a period of lower tensions — though mourners have repeatedly called for the killings of U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Negotiations to reach a final deal had been due to start after Khamenei's burial and focus on the toughest matters, including fully reopening the strait and rolling back Tehran's disputed nuclear program. But the new attacks threw that into question.

"The era of bullying and extortion is over," Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf wrote on X. "It leads nowhere. We don't fold."

Overnight US strikes target Iran

The U.S. military's Central Command said American forces launched the strikes "to impose heavy costs for targeting and attacking commercial shipping crewed by innocent civilians in an international waterway."

It said it hit Iranian targets including air defense systems, radars and over 60 small boats used by Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard. Those boats have been key in harassing ships in the strait.

The U.S. military remains "postured and prepared to hold Iran accountable when the agreement is not adhered to or obeyed," it added, saying this round of attacks had ended.

Iran acknowledged the strikes, but offered no word on any losses. Iranian state media reported the sound of explosions in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm and Sirik.

Iran's central military command warned it "will respond decisively to this aggression and terrorist act."

The belligerent stance of European NATO members risks triggering an all-out war with Russia that could spell the end of the bloc, Dmitry Trenin, president of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), wrote in an op-ed for RT.

Trenin argued that European elites are seeking “Russia’s destruction as a major power,” rather than simply deterrence, as during the Cold War. They are using the Ukraine conflict as a convenient opportunity, he said.

“The European NATO leaders’ enormous deficit of modern strategic culture – unsurprising after the eight decades of having delegated their security to the United States – and their blind Russophobia, a result of deep-seated vintage European racism and the real or perceived grudges against Russia piled over the last five centuries, have put Europe on a direct collision course with Russia,” the expert warned, adding that this strategy essentially “means war.”

Trenin argued that the “fundamental flaw” of this calculation is the “belief that Russia would rather accept defeat, degradation and disintegration than use the arsenal which it currently possesses.”

He warned that both the Russian leadership and ordinary people would not “surrender to NATO,” and that “there will be no more NATO” if a war breaks out.

Last year, NATO members pledged to increase annual defense spending to 5% of GDP by 2035. Some European leaders and top military commanders have argued that the West must be prepared for a potential war with Russia by the end of the decade, a claim the Kremlin has dismissed as baseless and dangerous warmongering.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia would not attack a NATO country unless attacked first. At the same time, Moscow has warned that Western arms deliveries to Ukraine make the risk of a direct confrontation more likely.

While the MSM keeps insisting that Ukraine is suddenly winning the war against Russia, the developments on the ground across the 800-mile frontline show a very different story.

After the key victory in Konstantinovka, opening the way for an assault on the Slaviansk-Kramatorsk fortress belt, news arises that the Russian army liberated 4 settlements in the Kharkov region at once.

Units of the Запад (West) group of forces established control over the settlements Shiykovka, Novy Mir, Cherneshchina, and Druzhelyovka, as well as in Vasilevka in the Donetsk region.

And even when it comes to the gruesome exchange of drone-missile combined strikes, while Ukraine does have successes in their efforts, it can’t really be compared to the absolute blitz that Russian forces are submitting the capital Kiev.

Here’s a list of what was hit in last night’s strikes on military-industrial facilities in Kiev and the surrounding region, according to Russia’s MoD:

Kiev-71 Industrial Enterprise (Abris PT Association) which manufactures long-and medium-range UAVs;

Kiev-1 Electronic Industry Assembly Plant which produces long-and-medium range UAVs and radar equipment;

Kiev-79 Industrial Enterprise which manufactures and supplies armor protection components for Ukrainian Armed Forces;

Kiev Shipyard that manufactures artillery boats and attack boats;

Kyiv-1 Instrument-Making Plant which produces fire control systems, optoelectronic countermeasure systems, navigation and automation equipment;

The Vyshneve Fuel and Lubricant Warehouse facility which stores diesel fuel for the emergency use;

And finally, the Zhulyany Missile Assembly and Components Plant which manufactures anti-aircraft missile systems, components for aircraft and air defense systems.

And it was at the Zhulyany plant that the most shocking image was captured, where the initial explosion from the strike was followed by hours of secondary explosions as the missiles and missile components kept exploding.

Russia hit a missile storage facility. I'd guess it's air defense missiles, and they fly around Kiev as secondary detonations.
