Russian Forces Edging Towards Fortified Ukrainian Stronghold of Konstantinovka, in Northern Donetsk Region

Russian Forces Edging Towards Fortified Ukrainian Stronghold of Konstantinovka, in Northern Donetsk Region

The city is part of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk Agglomeration, the last Ukrainian bastion in Donetsk.

While the Russia-Ukraine war has lost the media spotlight to the Middle East Conflict, the hostilities continue, every bit as brutal as ever.

And while the Russian advances are not as fast or as meaningful as last year, they still managed to conquer over 80 settlements in 2026, and are approaching, slowly but relentlessly, the ultimate prize in the Donetsk region that is the cradle of the war.

We’re talking about the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk Agglomeration, a heavily defended area that is the last major bastion in the Donbas (Donetsk plus Luhansk).

News has arisen from Ukrainian sources that Russian troops are edging toward the city of Konstantinovka, trying to gain a foothold close to a heavily defended belt.

Reuters reported:

“Konstantinovka, along with other cities, forms a so-called fortress ‌belt in the country’s east – an area well-fortified by the Ukrainian military.

’We are repelling the Russian occupiers’ persistent attempts to gain a foothold in the outskirts of Konstantinovka using infiltration tactics. Counter-sabotage measures are going on in the city’, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukraine’s army chief, said on the Telegram app.”

Ukrainian mappers from DeepState show that Russians control an area distant little over half a mile from the city’s southern outskirts.

“Small chunks of Konstantinovka, in southeast Ukraine, are marked as a grey zone, meaning neither Ukraine nor Russia has full control over them.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Wednesday its forces had taken control of Novodmytrivka, just north of Konstantinovka. Moscow’s top general, Valery Gerasimov, said in April that troops were advancing on the north and south of the city.”

Trump announces ‘Project Freedom,' humanitarian effort to guide ships through Strait

Trump announces ‘Project Freedom,' humanitarian effort to guide ships through Strait
Emma Bussey

President Donald Trump announced “Project Freedom,” on Sunday whereby the U.S. military would begin guiding ships from other nations safely out of the Strait starting Monday.

The process, he said, was intended as a humanitarian effort to help innocent people, businesses and countries that are suffering from the closure through no fault of their own.

The announcement came as Trump expressed doubt about a 14-point peace plan proposed byIran over the weekend.

“Countries from all over the world, almost all of which are not involved in the Middle Eastern dispute going on so visibly and violently for all to see, have asked the United States if we could help free up their ships, which are locked up in the Strait of Hormuz, on something which they have absolutely nothing to do with — They are merely neutral and innocent bystanders!” Trump said in a post shared on Truth Social.

“For the good of Iran, the Middle East and the United States, we have told these countries that we will guide their ships safely out of these restricted waterways so that they can freely and ably get on with their business.”

Trump highlighted the ships he is referring to were “from areas of the world that are not in any way involved with that which is currently taking place in the Middle East.”

“I have told my representatives to inform them that we will use our best efforts to get their ships and crews safely out of the Strait.

“In all cases, they said they will not be returning until the area becomes safe for navigation and everything else.

“This process, Project Freedom, will begin Monday morning, Middle East time,” he said.

“I am fully aware that my representatives are having very positive discussions with the country of Iran, and that these discussions could lead to something very positive for all.

“The ship movement is merely meant to free up people, companies and countries that have done absolutely nothing wrong — They are victims of circumstance. This is a humanitarian gesture on behalf of the United States, Middle Eastern countries but, in particular, the country of Iran.

“Many of these ships are running low on food and everything else necessary for large-scale crews to stay on board in a healthy and sanitary manner,” Trump added.

Trump also confirmed that showing goodwill on behalf of all of those who have been fighting over the last several months was important.

“If, in any way, this humanitarian process is interfered with, that interference will, unfortunately, have to be dealt with forcefully,” he said.

Hezbollah lawmaker says group can ‘thwart’ any goals of Lebanon-Israel talks

Hezbollah lawmaker says group can ‘thwart’ any goals of Lebanon-Israel talks
  and

A Hezbollah lawmaker says that the terror group will be able to “thwart” the objectives of direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel.

Speaking at an event honoring killed Hezbollah operatives, Hassan Fadlallah says “these negotiations with all their results do not concern us, and we will not implement them.”

“We have a free people and a steadfast resistance capable of thwarting all the objectives of these negotiations, which increase the sharp division in the country between the factions of our people and within the state itself,” Fadlallah says.

Lebanon and Israel’s US ambassadors have held two meetings in Washington in recent weeks, the first of their kind in decades.

Hezbollah has strongly rejected the talks, with its leader Naim Qassem calling them a “sin.”

Cross-border violence has continued despite a ceasefire that began April 17, with Hezbollah continuing to fire drones and rockets and Israel striking the terror group’s targets in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley.

The ceasefire text grants Israel the right to act against “planned, imminent or ongoing attacks.”

Fadlallah says that “any new agreement that will be established in Lebanon must guarantee that our country will not be attacked in any way.”

A Clash Of ‘Worldviews’: DOJ Report Lays Bare Anti-Christian Bias

A Clash Of ‘Worldviews’: DOJ Report Lays Bare The Anti-Christian Bias Pervasive In The Biden Administration

The new report released this week by the Department of Justice’s Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias is a wake-up call.

The task force, led by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, has produced one of the most, if not the most, substantive works of this administration. The report, entitled “Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias within the Federal Government,” lays bare what is at the heart of the Left’s disdain for religious freedom: it is a clash of “worldviews” over abortion, gender ideology, and sexual orientation.

Before detailing abuses across the federal government, the 550+ page report lays the foundation for why the anti-Christian bias, pervasive in the Biden administration, is a threat to our nation.

Beginning with an extensive quote from the farewell address of America’s first president, George Washington, the report provides the historical context for why vibrant Christian faith should be embraced, not suppressed.

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.” Washington went on to write, “let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion.”

If morality rests on transcendent truth, then to suppress the Christian faith, as the Biden administration did, is to weaken the moral foundation that sustains our political freedoms.

The report provides insight into how the Biden administration used government power against those who opposed its agenda — pressuring, penalizing, and, in some cases, prosecuting individuals unwilling to abandon their convictions, including the use of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, or the FACE Act, against pro-life advocates.

Aligned with organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center and Planned Parenthood, this whole-of-government approach marginalized dissent and created a chilling effect for Christians in the public square.

What many suspected is now documented: an intentional effort to extend hostility toward Bible-believing Christians beyond the federal government by pressuring states and the private sector.

States were pressed into denying or revoking licenses for Christian foster care families and agencies. Educational institutions were forced into compliance with the administration’s view of human sexuality. At the same time, efforts targeted certain forms of Christian counseling, limiting the ability to help those struggling with gender dysphoria.

So what must be done with this report? The federal government is already using it to identify policies that must change. But the stakes are higher than policy alone.

Now is the time to establish safeguards at the federal, state, and local levels to prevent future administrations from hollowing out the First Amendment, and to preserve the truth that sustains both our freedom and our future. And it is also a time for boldness, boldness in proclaiming the gospel that transforms hearts and minds. Because that transformation does not remain private; it shapes how we live, how we act… and yes, how we vote.

First US Integrated Humanoid Robot Factory To Build 100,000 NEO Robots By 2027

First US Integrated Humanoid Robot Factory To Build 100,000 NEO Robots By 2027

U.S.-based robotics firm 1X has started full-scale production of its humanoid robot NEO at a new manufacturing facility in Hayward, California.

The factory marks a key step toward commercializing general-purpose humanoid robots designed for home use. The company says the robots are built to safely operate alongside humans and assist with everyday tasks such as mobility support, light household activity, and routine interaction.

Spanning 58,000 square feet, the facility currently employs more than 200 workers and is expected to expand further as production scales. It has the capacity to produce up to 10,000 robots annually, with plans to increase output beyond 100,000 units by 2027. The setup is designed for rapid iteration as hardware and AI systems evolve.

The company has already seen strong early demand. It said its first-year production capacity of over 10,000 units sold out within five days of launch in October, signaling early commercial interest in humanoid home robotics.

A key feature of the factory is its vertically integrated production model. 1X designs and manufactures core components in-house, including motors, batteries, sensors, structures, and transmission systems.

This approach allows the company to control the entire production process, from raw material handling to final assembly. It also reduces reliance on external suppliers and supports faster iteration cycles, especially for hardware upgrades and safety improvements.

We’re building the world’s safest, most reliable humanoid robots—right here in Hayward, California,” said Vikram Kothari, VP of Manufacturing & Hardware.

The company says its setup includes automated motor manufacturing lines and systems that handle precision tasks such as copper coil winding. This level of integration is aimed at improving reliability, reducing production bottlenecks, and scaling manufacturing efficiently without outsourcing key subsystems.

Robots produced at the facility are currently being routed to internal testing, validation, and research environments. Customer shipments are expected to begin in 2026, starting with early access users before wider rollout.

Each NEO robot is powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson Thor computing platform, which serves as the system’s onboard processing unit.

The platform enables real-time AI inference directly on the robot, allowing it to perform perception, reasoning, navigation, and decision-making tasks without depending heavily on cloud infrastructure. This improves response time and reduces latency in real-world environments.

1X is also using NVIDIA’s Isaac simulation tools to train its robots in virtual environments. These simulations allow large-scale reinforcement learning and help improve robot behavior before deployment in physical homes.

Humanoid robots require high-performance, real-time AI inference and continuous training and testing in simulation for safe and reliable operation,” said Deepu Talla, vice president of robotics and edge AI at NVIDIA.

CEO Bernt Børnich said the factory signals a shift from concept to execution. “Production is happening now, and American consumers will be among the first in the world to welcome NEO into their homes.”

NEO will be offered through an early access program priced at $20,000, with a subscription option starting at $499 per month. The company plans to sell the robots directly through its online platform.

1X says building robots at scale in the United States will allow faster delivery, localized support, and quicker product improvements based on user feedback. The company also aims to reduce supply chain risks by keeping core manufacturing domestic.
