Trump claims Iran 'no longer a threat' in update on Operation Epic Fury

WATCH: Trump claims Iran 'no longer a threat' in update on Operation Epic Fury

United States President Donald Trump claimed that the Iranian regime is “no longer a threat” during an address given at White House to discuss the US's Operation Epic Fury on Wednesday evening.

Trump began the address by reaffirming the US military's success so far in decimating Iran's naval forces and ballistic missile capabilities.

“We are in this military operation so powerful, so brilliant, against one of the most powerful countries for 32 days, and the country has been eviscerated and essentially, is really no longer a threat,” he asserted.

He then asserted that he will never allow the Iranian regime to obtain a nuclear weapon, continuing that “there would have been no Middle East and no Israel” had the US not taken action against the regime’s nuclear ambitions.

“Our objectives are very simple and clear,” Trump said of Operation Epic Fury. “We are systematically dismantling the regime’s ability to threaten America or project power outside of its borders.”

“That means eliminating Iran’s navy, which is now absolutely destroyed, hurting their air force and their missile program at levels never seen before, and annihilating their defense industrial base,” he continued.

Trump added that due to Operation Epic Fury, the US is “on the cusp of ending Iran's threat to America and the world.”

“Tonight, every American can look forward to a day when we are free from the wickedness of Iranian aggression and the specter of nuclear blackmail," he asserted.

He then reaffirmed that he will never allow the Iranian regime to obtain a nuclear weapon, continuing that “there would have been no Middle East and no Israel” had the US not taken action against the regime’s nuclear ambitions.

Trump stated that his “first preference was always the path of diplomacy” when it came to dealing with the Iranian regime, but that the regime “continued their relentless quest for nuclear weapons and rejected every attempt at an agreement.”

Joel Rosenberg: US & Israel are crushing it in Iran: Don’t listen to the media’s lies

US & Israel are crushing it in Iran: Don’t listen to the media’s lies

When it’s all said and done, we might need to rename this, “Operation Epic Victory.”

You wouldn’t know it from watching or reading the news in the States.

Certainly not by watching the news in Europe or elsewhere around the globe.

But the truth is the U.S. and Israel are absolutely crushing it in Iran.

Four weeks into the fight, the military accomplishments being achieved are so astonishing, so breathtaking, I would have to say they border on the miraculous.

Actually, I’ll say it outright: the victories being achieved against the Iranian regime and their offensive military accomplishments are absolutely miraculous.

This isn’t just good military strategy and courage on the battlefield.

We are witnessing the hand of God shattering the wicked leadership in Iran.

We are seeing the prayers of millions of Christians being answered in supernatural ways.

This was my message on last Thursday night’s episode of THE ROSENBERG REPORT, my prime time weekly broadcast on TBN.

And the evidence is even stronger today than it was last week.

SICKENED BY THE MEDIA’S CONSTANT LIES ABOUT THIS WAR

We dare not let up or become complacent.

The fight is not over.

We all need to stay focused.

Stop listening to the mainstream media.

Stop tracking social media.

Most of what you’re being told is lies.

Lynn and I got back home to Israel two weeks ago from meetings in the States.

Like millions of Israelis, we’ve spent a lot of time in our bomb shelter.

But we’ve been sickened by the reporting of this war in the media.

If we didn’t know better, we’d think the U.S. and Israel were losing this thing and that President Trump was about to give up and throw in the towel.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I want to explain to you why we’re heading for an epic victory – and what the critics in the media and the so-called foreign policy “experts” are completely missing about Operation Epic Fury.

But first, consider these crazy headlines.

• Foreign Affairs magazine published this story, “How America’s War on Iran Backfired.”

• Foreign Policy magazine just published a story headlined, What Trump May Do if He Loses in Iran.”

• The Economist recently published a story called, “War in Iran is making Donald Trump weaker—and angrier.”

• Now The Economist has published a cover story headlined, “ADVANTAGE IRAN.”

• CNN broadcast a panel asking, “Is Trump losing control of the Iran war?

• The BBC did a segment asking, Has President Trump lost control of the war in Iran?

• MSNOW – what used to be MSNBC – just did this story, An air power expert explains why Iran is more powerful now than before the war.” The first sentence: President Donald Trump’s war with Iran is not going well.”

This is insane.

None of it – absolutely none of it – is true.

It’s all fake news.

And it’s all being pumped out by journalists and so-called “experts” who seem to want the U.S. and Israel to lose, who are cheering for us to lose.

In their blinded eyes and cynical hearts literally cannot or choose not to see the truth.

SHOCK: AN AL JAZEERA CONTRIBUTOR GETS IT RIGHT

Allow me to walk you through the facts.

But first, consider this headline from the biggest source of anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Jewish, and anti-Christian propaganda in the entire Middle East: Al Jazeera.

The US-Israeli strategy against Iran is working. Here is why.”

It’s a column written by Muhanad Selooman Assistant Professor of International Politics and Security at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

“Two weeks into Operation Epic Fury, the dominant narrative has settled into a comfortable groove: The United States and Israel stumbled into a war without a plan,” he writes

“Iran is retaliating across the region. Oil prices are surging, and the world is facing another Middle Eastern quagmire. US senators have called it a blunder. Cable news has tallied the crises.”

“Commentators have warned of a long war. The chorus is loud and, in some respects, understandable. War is ugly, and this one has imposed real costs on millions of people across the Middle East, including the city I live in.”

“But,” Seloom notes, “this narrative is wrong.”

“I have worked for the US Department of State and advised defence and intelligence agencies in multiple countries. I have no interest in cheerleading for war.”

But, he concludes, what President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have set out to achieve is not only working – it’s working better than every critic, cynic, and skeptic could possibly imagine.

“Iran’s supreme leader is dead, his successor is reportedly wounded, and every principal instrument of Iranian power projection – missiles, nuclear infrastructure, air defences, the navy, proxy command networks – has been degraded beyond near-term recovery,” Seloom writes.

“The campaign’s execution has been imperfect, its public communication poor and its post-conflict planning incomplete. War is never clean. But the strategy – the actual strategy, measured in degraded capabilities rather than cable news cycles – is working.”

To be clear, I have never written this sentence in my life, but I have to now: For once, an Al Jazeera commentator has actually gotten it right.

HERE ARE THE FACTS THAT EVERY EVANGELICAL NEEDS TO KNOW

The very fact that Al Jazeera published such an accurate  assessment strongly suggests the winds really are shifting dramatically in the Middle East.

Let me explain.

On Saturday morning, Feb. 28 – in the most dramatic and massive joint U.S.-Israeli military operation in history – more than 40 top Iranian leaders were assassinated in the first 40 seconds of the operation.

And the U.S. and Israel have continued assassinating Iran’s most powerful and most wicked ever since.

So far, the list of Iranian officials eliminated includes:

U.S. To Leave NATO? Trump Seriously Considering Leaving NATO, Says the UK ‘Doesn’t Even Have a Navy’ – Failing British PM Starmer Calls a ‘Summit’ To Discuss Future of Strait of Hormuz

Trump Seriously Considering Leaving NATO, Says the UK ‘Doesn’t Even Have a Navy’ – Failing British PM Starmer Calls a ‘Summit’ To Discuss Future of Strait of Hormuz

Euro-Globalists only know how to convene endless summits.

A few weeks ago, all the ‘geopolitical experts’ in the MSM and all the Euro-Globalists were fuming at Donald J. Trump for predicting that the US’ ‘allies’ would not come to its aid if a war broke out.

Needless to say, that was exactly what happened, and now the US president is furious and ‘disgusted’ with his ‘partners’, giving serious thought to leaving the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), in a development sending shockwaves across Europe and the world.

The Telegraph reported:

“The US president labelled the alliance a ‘paper tiger’ and said removing America from the defense treaty was now ‘beyond reconsideration’.

[…] He replied: ‘Oh yes, I would say [it’s] beyond reconsideration. I was never swayed by Nato. I always knew they were a paper tiger, and Putin knows that too, by the way’.”

Trump said of the NATO lack of help: ‘I just think it should be automatic’.

“Singling out the UK, the US president rebuked Sir Keir Starmer for refusing to get involved in the American-Israeli war against Iran, suggesting that the Royal Navy was not up for the task.

‘You don’t even have a navy. You’re too old and had aircraft carriers that didn’t work’, he said, referring to the state of Britain’s fleet of warships.”

Before anyone objects to Trump’s characterization, it’s important to remember that yesterday, British first sea lord General Sir Gwyn Jenkins, openly admitted to the press that the Royal Navy is ‘not ready for war’.

In the meantime, Starmer will convene a ‘virtual summit’ to plan the future of Hormuz strait after the military conflict stops.

Politico reported:

“Britain will host a virtual meeting of 35 nations Thursday in a bid to ease the Strait of Hormuz crisis.

Speaking in Downing Street British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Wednesday his Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper will bring together the nations behind last month’s joint statement urging safe passage through the waterway after Iranian forces de facto closed the vital shipping route.

[…] The U.K. will also convene military planners to examine how they can “marshal our capabilities and make the Strait accessible and safe after the fighting has stopped,” Starmer said.”

NOW - Starmer says, "It is now clear that the impact of this war will affect the future of our country," and that military planners will meet to discuss how to make Hormuz Strait accessible and safe after the war, "I do have to level with people on this. This will not be easy."
