Putin calls for establishment of ‘full-fledged Palestinian state’ that will live in peace with Israel

Putin calls for establishment of ‘full-fledged Palestinian state’ that will live in peace with Israel

Why is it that every single non-Muslim political leader seems determined to ignore the motivating ideology behind the “Palestinian” jihad, and as a result, to misunderstand the nature of the conflict entirely?

Why is it that none of them seem to have pondered even for a moment why Israel’s unilateral withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 didn’t bring peace? Why do all of them assume that the establishment of a “Palestinian” state will solve the conflict, when all of the rhetoric coming from the “Palestinian” factions is about destroying Israel altogether, and not a single “Palestinian” leader says that he looks forward to the day when “Palestinians” will leave in peace with Israelis? Why are these delusions so persistent and impenetrable?

Get the truth about the conflict in The Palestinian Delusion. That truth, however, continues to elude Putin, Trump, the EU, and any other individual or group you care to name.

Houthis threaten to 'open the gates of hell'

Houthis threaten to 'open the gates of hell'

The Houthi terrorist rebels are threatening to renew attacks against Israel, warning that continued fighting in Gaza could lead to action from Yemen.

In a post on social media, the group's spokesman, Hezam al-Asad, issued a statement saying that the group’s patience with Israel’s actions in Gaza was "beginning to run out," and claimed that ongoing military activity and civilian casualties would "open the gates of hell from the Yemeni front."

He said the Houthis would not remain silent while Gaza remains under what he described as bombardment and siege, particularly amid what he called a fragile ceasefire that is violated daily.

Al-Asad urged that warnings issued by Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi be taken seriously, stating that Yemen is preparing for future rounds of confrontation and would return to hostilities with "deeper, broader, and more effective capabilities" should fighting resume.

He further accused the guarantors and mediators of the ceasefire of responsibility for what he described as silence in the face of Israel’s actions, warning that continued violations could lead to a wider regional escalation.

The Houthi spokesman claimed the current ceasefire does not grant legitimacy for continued military operations in Gaza, and said that ongoing fighting means preparations are in place for all possible scenarios.

Al-Asad also asserted that what he termed the "axis of resistance" remains unified from Gaza through Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, and accused the US of bearing primary responsibility for Israel’s actions during the ceasefire, describing the truce as fragile and repeatedly violated.

Trump Sets Deadline as Naval Armada Converges

US Poised to Strike Iran: Trump Sets Deadline as Naval Armada Converges

Senior American military officials briefed leadership in a key Middle East ally that President Donald Trump could authorize an attack on Iran as early as Sunday, Drop Site News reported Friday. The planned strikes would target nuclear and ballistic missile sites and Iranian leadership itself. A former senior U.S. intelligence official confirmed the operation aims at regime change. “This isn’t about the nukes or the missile program. This is about regime change,” the source stated.

Two senior Arab intelligence officials told Drop Site they received warnings that a U.S. attack could come “imminently.” U.S. war planners envision strikes designed to “decapitate” the Iranian government, focusing on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The strategy assumes successful strikes on Iranian leadership would trigger mass protests and governmental collapse. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is actively encouraging the attack and has reportedly assured Trump that Israel can help install a new, Western-friendly government in Iran.

Trump confirmed Friday he had given Iran a deadline to make a deal, as Washington positioned military assets across the Middle East. Asked by reporters in the Oval Office whether he’d set a deadline before a potential strike, Trump confirmed he had communicated one directly to Tehran, adding, “Only they know for sure.” He did not reveal the timing. Asked about a timeline for when U.S. forces in the region might pull back, Trump remained noncommittal. “They have to float someplace. They might as well float near Iran.”

“We have a large armada flotilla heading toward Iran right now,” Trump stated. “Hopefully, we’ll make a deal. If we do make a deal, that’s good. If we don’t make a deal, we’ll see what happens.” The U.S. has said a deal with Iran must include a ban on uranium enrichment in Iran, removal of already-enriched uranium from Iran, a cap on Iran’s stockpile of long-range missiles, and a rollback of Iran’s support for terrorist proxies in the region. Tehran has rejected all these terms

Iranian officials have warned of severe retaliation if attacked. A professor at the University of Tehran told Drop Site that Iran’s new military leadership has abandoned its previous policy of telegraphing attacks to minimize escalation. The source revealed Iran’s goal in the event of another attack is to inflict at least 500 American casualties. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio acknowledged this week that 30,000 to 40,000 U.S. troops stationed in the region could be within range of Iranian missiles in the event of conflict.

The “Fierce” of these Perilous Times

The “Fierce” of these Perilous Times
Terry James

Paul warned of how things will develop as the time of Christ’s return nears. We have looked at that passage many times. I refer, of course, to the great apostle’s “perilous times” prophecy of 2 Timothy chapter 3. I’ll let you look it up in totality but will dwell only on one element for our purpose here.

Paul said: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be…fierce…” (2 Timothy 3:3).

Again, Paul wrote under Holy Spirit Inspiration of the very thing that would mark the end of the Age of Grace (Church Age).  He said that the “lawless one, Antichrist, will be revealed following the removal of the Restrainer as governor of evil over this fallen world system. It will be the spirit of Antichrist that even in John the apostle’s day was prevalent that will pervade the human race and its rebellion against all godliness.

My great friend Gary Stearman had something to say about all this, giving us a Holy Spirit-influenced think-piece, I believe:

Years ago, I noticed something in Paul’s Second Letter to Timothy. It struck home in a big way, and to this day directs my thinking about Bible prophecy. In the third chapter, there is an intriguing statement: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” Probably most serious Christians have noticed this warning, and then have continued to read the long list of character deficiencies that follow…

This description of latter-day societal shortcomings rings with a surprising familiarity to those of us who observe the daily media parade. As I read this, it occurred to me that I needed to do a deeper study of what the term “perilous times” really meant. Looking it up, I found that the word “perilous” came from the Greek word, chalepos.

Looking further, I discovered that in the New Testament, this word was used only twice, the other time being in Matthew, Chapter 8, in which Jesus and His disciples had sailed across the Sea of Galilee. A windstorm had risen and swamped their sailboat, until He spoke and calmed the waters:

“27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! 28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way”(Mt. 8:27, 28).

To my amazement, I discovered that the Greek word chalepos was used in the phrase, “exceedingly fierce!”

And fierce they were … so strong that in this territory of the beach and its cliffs, no one could pass. Their strength came from demonic possession.

I was immediately struck with the thought that when Paul wrote those prophetic words to Timothy, his exhaustive description of latter-day humanity was constructed around the idea of madness … raging insanity empowered by dark forces! Suddenly, I was deeply impressed with Paul’s true intent: to show Timothy – and us, in the twenty-first century – that the days before Christ’s return would be marked by a growing social insanity.

And not just that; it would be an insanity driven by the same dark forces encountered by Jesus and His disciples on the shores of Galilee on that day so long ago.

Always keeping Paul’s words in mind, I noted social changes and developments that were driven by raging insanity of the sort that suggested the presence of dark forces, working behind the scenes to fragment our civilized society:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph 6:12).

US Warns Iran Over Weekend Live Fire Drills Close To American Forces: China And Russia Now Involved

US Warns Iran Over Weekend Live Fire Drills Close To American Forces
TYLER DURDEN

Iran's military starting Thursday issued a warning to ships at sea that it planned to run a drill starting this weekend which is to include live firing in the Strait of Hormuz, potentially disrupting traffic through a waterway which sees 20% of all the world's oil pass through it.

This prompted a US warning in response, given US forces are also in the region - but quite a bit further away. On Iran's two-day live-fire naval exercise, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said it will not tolerate any unsafe behavior which threats US forces, and somewhat awkwardly called on IRGC forces to operate professionally.

"We will not tolerate unsafe IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) actions including overflight of U.S. military vessels engaged in flight operations, low-altitude or armed overflight of U.S. military assets when intentions are unclear, highspeed boat approaches on a collision course with U.S. military vessels, or weapons trained at U.S. forces," CENTCOM said in its statement Friday.

"US forces acknowledge Iran's right to operate professionally in international airspace and waters," it added, and noted that "any unsafe and unprofessional behavior near U.S. forces, regional partners or commercial vessels increases risks of collision, escalation, and destabilization."

Meanwhile the US forces build-up continues in the region:

A U.S. Navy destroyer made a port visit to the southern Israeli city of Eilat on Friday. The USS Delbert D. Black is one of six U.S. destroyers now in the Middle East, along with an aircraft carrier and three other combat ships.

China and Russia have just sent a big, resounding message to Washington in dispatching their own naval assets which have been sailing near Iranian vessels over the last several days - though this appeared for a prior, pre-planned joint drill.

According to the details of this prior joint exercise:

Ahead of the exercises, Iran issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), warning of live-fire military activity in the airspace surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the notice, military firing activity was conducted between January 27 and 29 within a five-nautical-mile radius. The airspace—from ground level up to 25,000 feet—was designated as restricted and hazardous throughout the duration of the maneuvers.

In parallel, the three countries just deepened trilateral ties:

In a dramatic geopolitical development... Iran, China and Russia formally signed a comprehensive strategic pact, marking one of the most consequential shifts in 21st-century international relations. While the full text of the agreement is being released in stages by the three governments, state media in Tehran, Beijing and Moscow have acknowledged the ceremony and described it as a cornerstone for a new multipolar order.

The pact comes against the backdrop of decades of growing cooperation between these three states. Iran and Russia earlier concluded a 20-year Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty designed to deepen economic, political, and defense ties, and to blunt the impact of Western sanctions — a treaty that was signed in January 2025 and entered into force last year.  Meanwhile, Iran and China have been bound by a 25-year cooperation agreement first signed in 2021, aimed at expanding trade, infrastructure, and energy integration.

Still, none of this has deterred the ongoing Pentagon build-up in the Middle East with an eye on Iran. One thing the White House should be able to perceive, however, is that any military action against Tehran is going to clearly be much more complex, and harder, than some one-off mission in Venezuela.

The potential for massive blow-back and for things to go seriously awry is much greater in the case of the Islamic Republic.
