Upcoming Trump–Xi Summit Is Really An AI Summit

Upcoming Trump–Xi Summit Is Really An AI Summit

When President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping meet at the White House on Sept. 24, the public agenda will be much larger than artificial intelligence (AI). Trade, semiconductors, rare earths, Taiwan, and other disputes will all be on the table.

But AI is different.

Trade agreements can be renegotiated. Tariffs can be raised or lowered. Semiconductor restrictions can be changed.

AI is becoming a general-purpose technology that can transform military power, manufacturing, cyberwarfare, scientific research, and the global economy simultaneously.

That makes the Trump-Xi meeting, in a very important sense, an AI summit.

The old assumptions about China's subordinate position in AI were simple: America had the technology, and China was trying to catch up.

That assumption is dangerously outdated.

Stanford's 2026 AI Index found that U.S. and Chinese frontier AI models have traded the lead several times since early 2025. By March 2026, the leading U.S. model held only a 2.7 percent advantage over the leading Chinese model on the benchmark measured by Stanford.

The United States still has major advantages. It produces more top-tier models, attracts vastly more private AI investment, and remains strong in advanced chips, computing infrastructure, and leading AI companies. U.S. private AI investment reached $285.9 billion in 2025, compared to $12.4 billion in China.

But China has other advantages. It leads the world in AI publications, citations, patent output, and industrial robot installations.

That last advantage is particularly important. China installed roughly 295,000 industrial robots in 2024, accounting for 54 percent of worldwide installations. The significance is not simply that China has more robots, but that it has enormous manufacturing capacity to deploy AI-powered machines.

That's a critical factor that can't be overstated. AI becomes much more powerful when it is connected to factories, warehouses, vehicles, supply chains, and physical machines.

China is already building that connection.

The next phase of AI may not be dominated by chatbots, but rather by machines that can see, reason, move, and act.

China has built the world's largest industrial-robot deployment base and is rapidly expanding into humanoid robotics.

Chinese companies are also pushing open AI models that can be adapted and deployed cheaply. A 2026 U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission analysis found that Chinese laboratories have increasingly embraced open-source models and that Alibaba's Qwen ecosystem had more than 100,000 derivatives on Hugging Face.

This creates a powerful and escalating feedback loop. More AI creates better robots; more robots generate more real-world data; more data improves AI; better AI makes robots more capable; and more capable robots create more demand for AI.

That is where China's unrivaled manufacturing scale becomes a strategic advantage.

The Great Reset will change everything

The Great Reset will change everything

Note: The following extract is taken from Vernon Coleman’s new book entitled `The Horrors of the Great Reset and Why You Should Be Afraid.’

None of the apparently stupid or incompetent things being done these days are a result of stupidity or incompetence. There are no coincidences. All the bad things that are happening – the energy problems, the food and water shortages, the unavailability of decent health care, the deterioration in education, the terrible transport systems, the appalling policing and decline of the justice systems – they are all deliberate. The wars that are devastating the world were planned. They are designer wars. And although it may not always be immediately obvious, they are all part of the plan to take us further into the Great Reset – an insane paradigm, conceived and promoted by a cabal of conspirators; a paradigm that no one in the world has ever voted for. The conspirators behind the Great Reset don’t want us to travel. And they want most of us to die – as quickly as possible. It is no exaggeration to describe the proponents of the Great Reset as truly evil, wicked conspirators.

This book describes how the treacherous King Charles III of England, a bunch of reconstituted Nazis and the fascist World Economic Forum are conspiring to take over the world, create a global depression and kill several billion people. This is a book about a real, practical conspiracy, the world’s biggest ever fraud and global genocide. And in the book, I describe how you and I have been betrayed by our governments. King Charles III of England became the official patron of the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset which was quietly launched in June 2020 – while most people were terrified of the fake covid pandemic and busy trying to stay sane in an insane world. Just what gave Charles the idea that he, still claiming to be the Defender of the Faith (though slightly “updated” to “Protector of the Faith” in what he regards as multi-faith Britain), had the right to join up with his fellow billionaires to create a high-level political conspiracy, with the aim of changing our world from top to bottom and taking control of every aspect of our lives, is a mystery. Charles and his heir are, however, perfect examples of a corrupt and venal aristocracy who will do anything to become richer and more powerful and who patently do not care one jot for the citizens they claim to rule. At a time when the country was slowly but inexorably sliding into bankruptcy, billionaire Charles demanded a hugely expensive coronation (costing around £250 million) and also initially demanded that every British citizen swore allegiance to him (out loud) during his coronation. His arrogance did not go down well with an electorate who still like to think of themselves as free men and women rather than as serfs. Those who claim that the existence of the Great Reset is merely a conspiracy theory may like to remind themselves that Charles III is patron of that conspiracy theory.

harles is paid (and paid very well) to be a figurehead. That’s his job. He is employed to open things, to pretend to plant trees and to wave at crowds of people clutching little Union Jacks. That’s his job, just as it was his mother’s job. But he has always wanted political power and has, throughout his life, attempted to interfere with governments. Now, cut out of political life (royals are not even entitled to vote at elections), he has joined the World Economic Forum’s (“WEF’s”) campaign for a massive change in the way the world is run. How he thinks this ambition can be reconciled with his status as a figurehead is another mystery. Although he himself has German origins (the family name was Saxe-Coburg-Gotha until it was sensibly changed to Windsor), he should remember what happened to King John and various other unpopular monarchs in English history.

Why do these people (who have little or no understanding about how the electorate really live and virtually no understanding of national culture) believe they are entitled to reorganise the world to suit their own malignant motives? Why, I wonder, did our appalling King ally himself so closely with an organisation which (as I showed in my book ‘Their Terrifying Plan’) has strong links with the Nazi Party? Maybe we should not be surprised at this. Given the enthusiasm of his grandfather’s brother (Edward VIII) for Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, this is perhaps not as surprising as it might first appear. For the record, Schwab (the founder of the WEF) has a paternal link with the Nazi Party, and the WEF is linked to the Bilderbergers (created by a Nazi). It is difficult to dismiss all these links with the Nazi Party as entirely coincidental, and an organisation which intends to change the way the world is run, and to change the way we lead our lives, must expect to be scrutinised rather carefully. Naturally, however, the bought-and-paid-for mainstream corporate media has never investigated the WEF and, bizarrely, denies that the Great Reset exists.

Algerian police seize Bibles as 12 Christians arrested for holding non-Muslim service

Algerian police seize Bibles as 12 Christians arrested for holding non-Muslim service

Special forces police in Algeria raided a worship service at a humanitarian shelter on Sept. 4, arresting all 12 Christians present on suspicion of holding an unauthorized, non-Muslim religious service.

The House of Refuge shelter in L’Ayaida, 36 kilometers (22 miles) east of Oran, serves as a haven and restoration center for vulnerable women and their families. It housed a worship hall before authorities ordered its administrative closure in October 2019, but Christians have continued to meet for church services in one of the separate apartments on the shelter premises.

The premises have been under surveillance for some time, sources said.

After law enforcement officers raided the site with a search warrant, the 12 detained Christians were transferred to the Bethioua police station about 40 kilometers from Oran.

During the operation, police seized all Christian literature, mobile phones and identity cards of those present, said the sources, unidentified for security reasons. The women were released to be questioned the following morning, while the men were held until late at night, some until 3 a.m.

Christians fear the detainees could be charged under Ordinance 06-03 governing non-Muslim worship in Algeria, which heavily criminalizes collective worship outside the officially approved state framework or any action deemed to “shake the faith of a Muslim.” The restrictive law exposes them to heavy fines and substantial prison sentences.

Punishment under the 2006 law can range from two to five years in prison and fines of 500,000 to 1 million Algerian dinars ($3,745 to $7,490). It requires non-Muslim worship buildings to be licensed, but all applications to do so have remained unattended.

The arrested Christians were not yet brought before a prosecutor, who would then quickly take them to court for judgment.

Christian support group Open Doors has reported that nearly all of the 47 official churches affiliated with the Protestant Church of Algeria (EPA) have received administrative closure orders or have been sealed by the authorities. More than 50 Christians have been prosecuted for their faith in recent years, according to the organization.

Russian Military Must Be Ready to Respond Quickly to Potential External Threats – Putin

Russian Military Must Be Ready to Respond Quickly to Potential External Threats – Putin

The Russian armed forces and security agencies must be prepared to respond quickly and effectively to potential external threats, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday.
Speaking at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission, Putin said that the agenda included discussions on the draft of the new State Armament Program and the Program for the Development of the Defense-Industrial Complex.

"They will serve as the foundation for the development and serial production of modern weapons systems and hardware to equip our army and other security agencies, ensuring they are ready to respond quickly and effectively to potential external threats," Putin said.

NATO is expanding and moving into different regions of the world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“NATO is growing, expanding, and is already moving into other regions of the world. Some European leaders openly say that they are preparing for war with Russia,” Putin said.
Furthermore, NATO conducted exercises in the Baltic Sea, one of the goals of which was to practice seizing civilian vessels.
Putin urged the West to live in harmony, warning that otherwise Moscow would have to respond.

On Relations With Europe

European authorities are covering up their economic policy mistakes by citing an alleged threat from Russia.
"Some European leaders are openly declaring that they are preparing for war with Russia. In my view, they are simply trying to salvage their plummeting approval ratings and mask failures in economic and social policy — but it is not really working; it is not helping," Putin said during a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.
Instead of pausing to listen to their citizens, who do not want war with Russia, European leaders are further escalating the situation, the Russian president added.

"I want to say once again that Russia has no aggressive intentions towards Europe or European countries. We simply have no grounds for that," Putin stated

At the same time, Russia is ready to cooperate and restore relations with its European neighbors, Putin noted.

On Ukraine

European leaders are using Ukrainians as “cannon fodder,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
He added that European arguments about Ukraine defending “European values, European civilization and democracy” were false, claiming that Ukraine’s authorities could not defend democracy because, in his words, the country’s political system had “degenerated into a dictatorship.”
"Power [in Ukraine] has been usurped by a 'bunch of embezzlers' and corrupt officials who need war in order to remain in power without elections," Putin said at a meeting of the military industry commission.
The regime in Ukraine cannot defend democracy because it has degenerated into a dictatorship itself, Putin added.

AI Said She Was Guilty — So They Put Her in Jail

AI Said She Was Guilty — So They Put Her in Jail

I wrote about Angela Lipps back in March because her case demonstrated exactly what happens when government begins trusting a computer more than basic human investigation. Now this 50-year-old Tennessee grandmother is suing the City of Fargo and a former detective for $10 million after spending nearly six months behind bars for crimes she says she could not possibly have committed. She had never even been to North Dakota before this nightmare began, yet facial recognition software identified her as a possible match in a bank fraud investigation and the government machinery took over from there.

Lipps was arrested at gunpoint by U.S. Marshals in Tennessee in July 2025 while babysitting four children. Fargo police were investigating a woman who allegedly used fraudulent identification to withdraw tens of thousands of dollars from banks, and facial recognition technology produced Lipps as a possible match. According to the lawsuit, investigators then compared photographs from her driver’s license and social media and proceeded against her. She eventually faced eight felony charges, including offenses carrying the possibility of years in prison, while basic financial records later showed she was more than 1,000 miles away in Tennessee when the crimes occurred.

AI did not walk into her house and put handcuffs on her. PEOPLE did that. The computer produced a possible identification and human beings entrusted with the power of the state allegedly failed to perform the basic investigation necessary before destroying someone’s life. Technology gives government enormous power while simultaneously giving bureaucrats something else to blame when they get it wrong.

Lipps reportedly spent 108 days jailed in Tennessee before being transported to North Dakota and remained incarcerated for months until her attorney produced records supporting that she was in Tennessee when the thefts occurred. The charges were dismissed on Christmas Eve. By then, according to her lawsuit and attorneys, she had lost her home, car, possessions, and even her dog because she could not pay her bills while sitting in jail. She was released in Fargo during winter without a coat and with practically nothing to her name. No computer experiences those consequences because the computer simply produces another output and moves on.

Facial recognition poses a serious threat to privacy, and as I warned years ago, would eventually track ordinary people simply walking through public places. At the time, this sounded like something out of Minority Report. Now facial recognition is embedded throughout policing, airports, border systems, private security networks, and massive surveillance databases. I recently wrote about Flock’s network of more than 120,000 cameras spread across 49 states, where law enforcement agencies can search vehicle movements across jurisdictions. Add facial recognition and AI to that infrastructure and government gains the ability to identify, locate, categorize, and investigate people on a scale that previous governments could never have imagined.

The problem is that AI is not some all-knowing intelligence. It identifies patterns and probabilities based upon the information and methodology behind the system. A match is not proof that someone committed a crime, yet people have an extraordinary tendency to surrender their own judgment once a computer produces an answer.

Angela Lipps is hardly the only person caught in this mess. The ACLU says more than a dozen people in the United States are now publicly known to have been wrongfully arrested after police reliance on facial-recognition results. Kimberlee Williams of Oklahoma was arrested because Maryland authorities were looking for somebody else even though she said she had never been to Maryland. These are not harmless glitches where Netflix recommends the wrong movie. When government plugs imperfect technology into the criminal justice system, an error can mean armed agents at your door, jail, extradition, lost employment, financial destruction, and months of your life that nobody can ever return.

Governments are increasingly collecting facial scans, fingerprints, iris patterns, location records, license plate data, financial information, and countless other identifiers. AI can connect those databases in seconds. Once that infrastructure exists, government does not need to follow you physically because the cameras, databases, banks, phones, cars, and computers can reconstruct your life for them.

People respond by saying they have nothing to hide, but Angela Lipps apparently did not need anything to hide. The entire point of due process is that government must prove YOU committed the crime rather than forcing you to prove that the computer picked the wrong face. When technology reverses that burden, we have abandoned one of the most fundamental principles of a free society.
