Speculation That The Bombing Of Pickaxe Mountain Will Occur Soon, And What Happens After That

The radicals that run Iran have warned President Trump over and over again not to touch Pickaxe Mountain. Nobody outside of Iran has ever seen what is going on inside that mountain, and the Iranians have been determined to keep it a secret. Because the facility is so far underground, it would be very difficult for even the most advanced bunker-buster bombs to damage it. That is why neither the U.S. nor Israel tried to bomb it during Iran War 1 or Iran War 2. But now Trump is telling the world that we will be bombing Pickaxe Mountain “probably pretty soon”. Is this an indication that he has decided to take the war against Iran to the next level?

On Tuesday, Axios reported that Trump was considering two primary options…

• Option 1: Pursue a new 10-day ceasefire aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
• Option 2: Launch a massive joint military campaign with Israel to force Tehran’s capitulation.

Choosing to bomb Pickaxe Mountain would mean that Trump has chosen door number two.

Needless to say, that would have enormous implications for the entire world.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Israeli intelligence is convinced that “thousands of uranium-enrichment centrifuges” were moved inside Pickaxe Mountain late last year…

Israeli intelligence believes Iran moved thousands of uranium-enrichment centrifuges into tunnels deep inside a mountain last fall, Israeli and U.S. officials say, a development that would heighten concerns that Tehran could reconstitute its nuclear program.

Israel passed along the intelligence findings to the U.S., saying the centrifuges were transferred to the Pickaxe Mountain site last fall after the 12-day war in June when American and Israeli strikes pummeled Iran’s three main nuclear sites.

The reason why Iran would have wanted to move those centrifuges is to get them out of the reach of U.S. and Israeli bombers.

We are being told that the facility inside Pickaxe Mountain “was carved to a depth of more than 100 meters below bedrock”…

Satellite imagery shows that the complex was carved to a depth of more than 100 meters below bedrock, making it deeper and more fortified than the Fordow enrichment facility, a highly fortified, underground uranium enrichment facility.

To put that in perspective, 100 meters is 328 feet.

That is extremely deep.

In fact, it is so deep that the facility is considered to be out of reach “even for the most advanced bunker-penetrating bombs”…

Reaching these depths is considered a complex task, even for the most advanced bunker-penetrating bombs in the US arsenal.

Tehran claimed that the site is intended solely as a factory for the production and assembly of advanced centrifuges, not as an active enrichment facility. Iranian authorities, however, are preventing International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors from entering the site.

But U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth now appears to believe that we have weapons that can hit that facility.

On Tuesday, he made this claim to the Senate Appropriations Committee…

War Secretary Pete Hegseth said Tuesday the U.S. military has the capability to strike Iran’s underground Pickaxe Mountain nuclear facility.

Asked by lawmakers at the Senate Appropriations Committee hearing whether the U.S. could destroy whatever is beneath the mountain, Hegseth said he would not discuss specific capabilities.

“A lot of our capabilities are classified,” Hegseth said.

Personally, I am skeptical that there are any conventional weapons anywhere in the world that could do the job.

But President Trump would not order an operation unless he was convinced that it would succeed, and he just warned that the bombing of Pickaxe Mountain could happen “probably pretty soon”…

President Trump said the U.S. will be striking Pickaxe Mountain, an alleged nuclear storage facility, though he wouldn’t confirm whether they believe centrifuges have been moved to the location.

“It doesn’t mean anything unless they have the material,” Mr. Trump said. “They don’t have– we follow the material. That’s where the action is.”

That sounds rather ominous.

He also went on to say that there is “not a thing” that the Iranians can do about it…

He also said he wouldn’t usually warn Iran, but there was “not a thing they can do about it.”

“If I thought they could do something about it, I would never say that,” Mr. Trump said. “But we’ll be hitting that area pretty soon, and very heavily.”

To me, it sounds like he has made up his mind.

But with Trump you just never know until he actually pulls the trigger.

If Trump does pull the trigger, the Iranians are telling us that the response will be massive…

Iran’s top joint military command said Tuesday that all U.S. interests and those of its allies in the region would be targeted if Washington attacks Iran’s nuclear facilities, according to Iranian state media, Reuters reported.

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the joint military command responsible for coordinating the country’s armed forces, also said any U.S. strike on Tehran’s nuclear or other sensitive sites would lead to an expansion of the war in the region, according to state media, as reported by Iran International.

The command warned that U.S. interests and its supporters would face a “powerful assault” if an attack were carried out.

In addition, the Iranians are reportedly also threatening to strike Israel if Pickaxe Mountain is attacked…

If Iran launches ballistic missiles at Israel, that will change everything.

One senior Israeli official is warning that in such a scenario his nation “will go all in”…

A senior Israeli official said Israel does not currently seek to join the direct confrontation between Washington and Tehran, but warned that any Iranian attack on Israel would trigger a broad response using the full range of Israel’s military capabilities.

“If Iran attacks us, we will go all in and strike them,” the official said. “We do not do half-measures.”

The official said Israel possesses a “very large target bank” and would use any broader confrontation to exploit additional opportunities across the region to damage Iran’s military capabilities and those of its proxies.

The Israelis don’t want to just bomb Iran for a few days.

If there is going to be a return to all-out war, they want to finish the job.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to coordinate on the various scenarios, and discuss respective American and Israeli interests, according to Channel 12, which cited Israeli officials.

Israel is waiting for Trump to make a decision.

If Pickaxe Mountain gets bombed, we will know what the decision is.

And then things will get really crazy in the Middle East.

Iran moved nuclear centrifuges to 'Pickaxe Mountain,' intel reveals as US carries out 10th round of strikes

Israeli intelligence assessed that Iran moved thousands of nuclear centrifuges to tunnels deep inside the "Pickaxe Mountain" site near Natanz in an attempt to protect them from aerial strikes, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, as U.S. airstrikes on Iranian targets entered the 10th night in a row.

According to the report, which cites U.S. and Israeli sources, Israeli intelligence believes the transfer came after the 12-day war last June, and after the U.S. joined the war effort with Operation Midnight Hammer, striking three Iranian nuclear sites: Isfahan, Natanz (but not Pickaxe Mountain), and Fordow. Israel passed the intelligence findings to U.S. agencies, WSJ reported. 

Iran’s development of the Pickaxe Mountain site has long attracted attention from the intelligence community, as it was believed to be related to Iran’s nuclear weapons program. It sits about 2 kilometers (roughly 1 mile) south of the Natanz nuclear enrichment plant, which both the U.S. and Israel struck in the June 2025 conflict. 

Construction at the site has been ongoing since the Fall of 2020, with intelligence indicating the facility is intended to replace the Natanz enrichment plant, which was too exposed to aerial attacks, as the June 2025 strikes demonstrated. The main facility is believed to be at least 100 meters (nearly 330 feet) below the mountain's rock, accessible only by tunnels carved into the sides. 

At that depth, it sits further below ground than the site at Fordow, which the U.S. struck with bunker-buster bombs in June 2025.

There’s one major roadblock to a new Middle East, to a region where Israel lives in peace and prosperity with its Arab neighbors. That roadblock is the Iranian axis. In Iraq, Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria, Iran’s regime has spent years creating chaos and surrounding Israel with a ring of fire, a proxy network sworn to the destruction of the Jewish state.

The crown jewel of this evil empire is Hezbollah. Over a period of decades, Iran’s most lethal proxy turned southern Lebanon into its own personal terror kingdom, armed to the teeth and perched on Israel’s border. But much like its masters in Tehran, Hezbollah is now a shell of what it once was, thanks to the full force of the Israeli military.

As a result, for the first time in a long time, there is a glimmer of hope in Lebanon. President Trump met yesterday at the White House with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, and they envisioned a future without Hezbollah.

“We are going to solve a lot of problems,” President Trump stated. “We’ve already solved some of them for Lebanon. As you know, there’s a Hezbollah problem. But we’ve done some things that I think the world will take notice. Again, it’s been a very badly treated place and country, and we’re going to have it properly treated and treated with the respect that it deserves.”

You can’t have a normally functioning country when a terrorist entity that takes its orders from Iran has created a state within a state inside your borders.

Hezbollah’s continued poisonous influence in Lebanon is holding up some potentially great things.

“The Abraham Accords have been, I think, a tremendous success,” President Trump said. “I think you’re going to see a lot of countries joining pretty soon. As you know, we have our original group, and it’s so successful for them—economically successful. It’s been that nobody left even during this time of conflict. So, no, I think Lebanon has a very important place.”

Folks, the possibilities here are endless once the Iranian terror axis is out of commission and the job, God willing, is finished. In the meantime, the Trump administration is facilitating some very promising talks between Lebanon and Israel.

Folks, it’s very clear that there is one major roadblock to a region where Israel actually lives in peace, at least for a period—we know what the Bible says!

Hezbollah is the elephant in the room, but things are developing rapidly as Iran’s axis is decreasing and being weakened like it’s never been weakened before. Possibilities that just a few years ago were not even on the radar screen are now opening up, including the real possibility of normalization between Israel and Lebanon.

Hezbollah needs to be cast into the ash heap of history along with its Iranian masters.

Remember, there is a large Christian population in Lebanon, beleaguered many times by jihadists there led by Hezbollah, of course. Keep that in your prayers. A future peace between Israel and Lebanon would be a game-changer.

The Fig Tree: Within The Span Of A Generation, Israel Will Bud As A Nation And Look Upon The One Whom They Pierced

Jesus said, “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: ‘When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away'” (Matthew 24:32-35).

Hosea 9:10 and Joel 1:7 both metaphorically refer to Israel as a “fig tree,” which tells us we are within the boundaries of Scripture to see this as referring to Israel. But there is even more compelling evidence that tells us not only can we see Israel as a fig tree, but we should.

The Olivet Discourse was taught during the Passion Week, the week leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion on Passover. During that week, Jesus made multiple trips into Jerusalem, beginning with the triumphal entry, when He received public worship as Israel’s Messiah for the first time. It was on this day that He cleansed the temple and drove out the money changers and dove sellers.

“Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response Jesus said to it, ‘Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.’ And His disciples heard it… Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, ‘Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away'” (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21)

It is almost universally agreed that the fig tree represented fruitless Israel, for at Jesus’ first coming, it was not the season for the people of Israel to recognize their Messiah. That will occur at the second coming. Mark’s Gospel gives us details not provided in Matthew and Luke, and by combining the eyewitness accounts, we can reach this conclusion (remembering that the fig tree represents unbelieving Israel). On Monday of the Passion Week, Jesus curses the fruitless fig tree, and on Tuesday, Jesus and His disciples encounter the same fig tree withered away, which pictures the scattering of the Jews among the nations and the nation ceasing to exist in its homeland. On the next day, Jesus says, “Learn this parable from the fig tree” (Matthew 24:32). He is talking to the same group of men, in the same city, about the same fig tree. Thus, if the fig tree represented unbelieving Israel on Monday and Tuesday, then on Wednesday the fig tree would still represent unbelieving Israel. We know from Ezekiel’s vision in chapter 37 that Israel will be regathered into the land in national unbelief, so the metaphor of the fig tree is consistent in representing unbelieving Israel.

Jesus said, “Learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves [which comes before the fig tree bears fruit], you know that summer is near” (Matthew 24:32). He then clarifies the meaning of His words by saying the generation that sees the fig tree become tender and put forth leaves is the generation that will see all the things spoken of in the Olivet Discourse come to pass (verses 33-34).

Within the span of a single generation, Israel will bud in unbelief (become a nation again), and before that generation passes away, the people will look upon the one whom they pierced and mourn as one mourns for an only son (Zechariah 12:10). This is the fruit that will grow after the leaves bud, which will happen at the second coming.

As Christian persecution rages, Joel Veldkamp, head of international communications at Christian Solidarity International, continues sounding the alarm on the dire state of affairs.

Veldkamp recently appeared on the “Into the Supernatural” podcast to reveal five locations where he believes persecution has reached a fever pitch. The first nation he referenced is Nigeria, where he described a “slow-motion ethnic cleansing campaign.” 

“There’s a region of the country called the Middle Belt, where most of the indigenous people who live there are Christians from hundreds of different people groups who are farmers,” he said.

“But there’s another tribe — a Muslim tribe called the Fulani — who are moving into this area, and they are extremely well-armed, and they formed a lot of militias, and, for the past eight years, really, they’ve been carrying out massacres of Christian villagers again, and again, and again on a weekly basis or more.”

Chaos in the region has led to a “slow expulsion of Christians,” with some recent events making international headlines. With each massacre, more and more believers leave the area.

“It is a stream of massacres, but it’s also a growing population of over a million people now who are just homeless, displaced, have no access to education or means of livelihood,” he said. “This is … probably the biggest persecution crisis in the world right now.”

Veldkamp also addressed other nations where persecution is raging, including Sudan, where he said there is a massive power struggle between “two Islamist factions” that used to run the nation together before turning on one another. The chaos has led to millions of deaths. 

Sudan’s civil war broke out in April 2023 amid a struggle between the nation’s army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group. You can read more about that crisis here.

Veldkamp also spoke about Pakistan, Armenia, and Syria, addressing persecution issues unfolding inside these nations.

“Armenia … was a nation that converted to Christianity en masse in the year 301 AD,” she said. “And ever since then, its national identity, its culture has been intimately tied to Christianity.”

Veldkamp continued, “And this Christianity survived centuries of oppression by different empires, it survived the genocide of 1915, it survived 70 years of communist rule under communist Russia, and today, the genocide is continuing.”

He spoke about Azerbaijan targeting Armenia, as the mostly Christian-identifying population of Nagorno-Karabakh, a small landlocked region between the nations, was driven out.

“The entire population of this region called Nagorno-Karabakh, 120,000 people, had to flee from their lives to escape the … military advance,” Veldkamp said. “Today, the problem has kind of doubled in on itself because the Armenian government lost this war.”

In the absence of the Haber-Bosch process and the process for producing both nitrogenous fertilisers and phosphate-based fertilisers, without the oil, you can’t produce them. And 30% of the world’s fertiliser passes through the Strait of Hormuz, roughly speaking. Now, without the fertiliser in general, the carrying capacity of the planet falls from about 8.5 billion people, which is how many people we have right now, down to between 1 and 2 billion. That’s the extent to which we’re reliant upon petroleum-based fertilisers for food output. If you lose 30% of the fertiliser that the planet relies upon, at the extreme that implies that something of the order of only 6 billion people can be supported by our food systems, down from the current 8.5 to 9 billion people we’re supporting now. There is some buffer inside there in terms of roughly 30% of food being wasted. But the extent to which we rely upon a continuous flow of petroleum-based fertilisers cannot be overestimated. And if we have a disruption to the supply of those fertilisers, anywhere from 10 or 20 million people through to the ludicrous scale, I have to admit, of 2 billion, that’s the potential range of disaster.’
