'Prepare politically, economically and militarily to attack Iran's nuclear facilities'

'Prepare politically, economically and militarily to attack Iran's nuclear facilities'

Benny Gantz, chairman of the National Unity party, issued a statement at a faction meeting on Monday, calling on the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to prepare to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities.

"I would like to put out a warning here and pull on the lapel of the prime minister's coat. The State of Israel will have to face enormous challenges in the coming decade, to defend all our borders and to take military action in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and Lebanon, with much greater ground forces and in a much more intensified manner, than we have been used to until now," said Gantz.

"We will have to prepare politically, economically and militarily for the destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities and to fight against its expansion. To rehabilitate the north and south, and provide reinforced services, so that for every damaged house in Metula, three will be built. So that children and families in the villages and towns surrounding the Gaza Strip will play on the lawns where the blood of our loved ones was brutally spilled."

“Whoever believes that we can do this with a budget that is focused on protecting the coalition, instead of on growth engines – is ignoring reality. I am calling on the prime minister and members of the coalition: in order for us to have a functional army, to have money for ammunition, to have a society that is willing to contribute and deal with the difficulties – we must take responsibility for reality. Change the outline of the Israeli service immediately, change the budgetary priorities, stop the police coup – before it's too late” he added.

Gantz added: " Rabin knew how to take responsibility. After the failed rescue attempt of Nachshon Waxman, he said 'I am responsible.’ He knew how to make tough decisions. Even today, we must not assume that 'it will be okay' – we must take action and be responsible for our lives here. Now."

"As someone who knows the IDF's capabilities well, I would like to say that there is no place and no immune facility in Iran. Iran's attacks will ultimately end in damage to its military capabilities, collapse of its economy, and a popular revolt against power. I suggest that Iran's leaders make the right decision."

In conclusion, he said: "I have a suggestion for the prime minister who is looking for a "solution" for the State Attorney who is bothering him and for the government ministers: Don't enable legislation that discriminates between blood and blood, don't promote a regime coup, and then the State Attorney won't bother you. Respond to the needs of the citizens of Israel, and the State Attorney will not interfere with you. The fact that while a serious case of breaking the law and suspicion of harm to state security is being investigated within Netanyahu's office, he is busy neutralizing the gatekeepers, should disturb every citizen in Israel. If the rule of law bothers the prime minister or government ministers, they are welcome to move to countries where the government operates without restrictions and checks. The State of Israel will remain a liberal democracy, and we will not allow any harm to the gatekeepers."

Russia Warns Of “Red Lines” Being Crossed…Again

Russia Warns Of “Red Lines” Being Crossed…Again

Russia is once again warning NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) of crossing any red lines. The rulers of Russia have been continually warning NATO as it crosses every line laid down by Moscow.

This new warning is no different. There will be consequences if NATO “allows” Ukraine to strike Russia with long-range weapons. Russia, in turn, claims it would not hesitate to respond to “aggressive actions” by NATO, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated. Allowing the Ukrainian military to use Western-supplied long-range weapons for strikes deep inside Russia would be treated as one such step, the diplomat told Rossiya Segodnya on Tuesday.

So far, the West continues to cross red lines, while Russia continues to issue warnings against doing so. This, however, is one red line that still hasn’t been crossed. That could be because Kyiv’s military forces would not be able to operate such weapons independently, and would require the presence of NATO specialists as well as intelligence data obtained through the bloc’s satellite systems, Lavrov stated according to a report by RT. That would make the West compliant in any attack, and put those nations in the crosshairs of World War 3.

“If such weapons are used, that would mean that not just Ukraine but the NATO nations are openly at war with Russia,” Lavrov was quoted as saying. “The nature of this conflict, which the Western leaders sought to conceal… would literally come out.” He added:“Europe is being militarized at a quickened pace.”

“Our opponents should not be mistaken. In case of any aggressive actions by NATO or its member states against our nation, adequate retaliatory measures will be taken in full compliance with Russia’s right for self-defense embodied in the UN Charter,” the diplomat said, adding that Moscow would use “any means to ensure its security.”

Power Imbalance on the Korean Peninsula Means War – Kim Jong-un’s Sister

Power Imbalance on the Korean Peninsula Means War – Kim Jong-un’s Sister
SPUTNIK

In a statement on Tuesday, Kim Yo-jong lashed out at the US and its Asian allies over their “most hostile and aggressive” attitude toward North Korea.
Kim Yo-jong, deputy department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and sister of the DPRK's head of state Kim Jong-un, has warned of far-reaching consequences from what she described as "ever-escalating military threats of hostile forces."
She referred to recent joint drills of the US, Japan and South Korea, which she said was held "under the signboard of ‘counteraction’ and ‘warning’ to North Korea’s latest strategic weapon test."

"This is another absolute proof of the validity and urgency of the line of building up the nuclear forces we have opted for and put into practice. Today’s upset of the balance of power between rivals on the Korean Peninsula and in the region precisely means a war. And this is an undeniable objective reality," Kim’s sister underscored.

She also mentioned other massive drills involving US, Japanese and South Korean forces, which "posed a serious threat to not only our state [the DPRK] but also regional peace and security."

"The line of bolstering up the self-defensive nuclear deterrent, being pursued by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is the most correct, one and only choice made by it in the current situation, and we will never vacillate in that way," Kim Yo-jong said.

North Korea told the UN point-blank that it's speeding up nuclear weapons development

North Korea told the UN point-blank that it's speeding up nuclear weapons development
Matthew Loh

  • The UN Security Council met on Monday to press North Korea on nuclear nonproliferation.

  • Pyongyang had days earlier launched a new ICBM, which was recorded as its longest launch trajectory.

  • But North Korea instead doubled down on its nuclear plans, saying it would accelerate its program.

Pyongyang went loud and proud on Monday about its plans for nuclear weapons as the United Nations grilled its representative over a recent missile launch.

"We will accelerate and will not let up on the buildup of our nuclear force that can counter any threat presented by hostile nuclear-weapons states," Kim Song, the North Korean ambassador to the UN, said at a Security Council meeting.

"There will ever never be any change in this line," he added, referring to North Korea as a "responsible nuclear-weapon state."

Kim's statement came as Japan reported that North Korea fired at least seven short-range ballistic missiles from its east coast that ultimately fell into Japan-administrated waters.

Launched on the eve of the US election, the missiles were characterized by Pyongyang as a response to recent joint military drills between the US, South Korea, and Japan involving their long-range bombers.

Those joint drills were a signal to North Korea after its Thursday launch of what it said was a new solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile dubbed the Hwasong-19, which also landed in the Sea of Japan.

Its trajectory was recorded as Pyongyang's longest-ever ballistic-missile test, reaching an altitude of about 4,780 miles, though previous tests have extended farther in latitudinal distance.

The US, Japan, and South Korea have condemned the launch.

In his comments to the UN, Kim said the Hwasong-19 had "no slightest negative impact on the security of the neighboring countries."

The UN Security Council had met on Monday to discuss the Hwasong-19 launch and press North Korea on nuclear nonproliferation, but Kim instead blasted the meeting as "unlawful."

"Today, the nuclear threat of the United States against the DPRK has already reached a critical point in terms of its scale and dangerous level," he said.

The US, in turn, accused Russia and China of protecting North Korea.

"Shielded from closer scrutiny of its sanctions-violating activities by Moscow and Beijing, Pyongyang, unsurprisingly, has been emboldened to continue advancing its unlawful ballistic missile, nuclear, and WMD programs," Robert Wood, the deputy US ambassador to the UN, said.

North Korean ties with Russia have more recently come under the spotlight as Moscow receives manpower and arms from Pyongyang to fuel its war in Ukraine. South Korea said earlier this year that in return, North Korea had been acquiring food, raw materials, and tech expertise from Russia.

Ukraine, the US, and the UK have estimated that as many as 10,000 North Korean troops may be embedded with Russian forces and that at least 8,000 may soon be deployed to the front lines.
