Here It Comes

Predictably, right on schedule. First up in today's news - we see corroboration with various articles which have suggested that the U.S. will cave and allow Iran to continue with their nuclear development (of course while pretending that they really believe Iran will step away from nuclear development, which anyone with a few functioning brain cells knows to be false). This reality is now staring us in the face, as Zechariah's prophecy of Israel standing alone in these last days is coming true (as expected).

Iran and the United States have secretly made significant progress toward an agreement that would aim to keep Iran “two or three years away” from a nuclear weapons capability, and would see an easing of economic sanctions on the Islamic Republic, an Israeli TV report said on Wednesday.

The behind-the-scenes negotiations have moved a long way forward — far more than is widely thought — with Oman among the mediators, Israel’s Channel 2 news said.

The TV report came just a day after Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned against “a bad deal” being done with Iran, under which sanctions were eased but Iran was left with the capacity to enrich uranium and/or pursue a plutonium route to the bomb.

There is “more than a likelihood” that the accelerated diplomatic contacts will produce a deal, the TV report said, adding that Russia’s President Vladimir Putin “will come in at a certain stage… and play an important role,” as he did in resolving the crisis over Syria’s use of chemical weapons a little over a month ago. For now, though, it is the US and Iran that are doing the negotiating.

Reports earlier Wednesday said Iran was preparing to offer to limit its production of nuclear fuel in exchange for an easing of international sanctions. It will make the offer in Geneva next week, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

Iran is expected to offer “to stop enriching uranium to levels of 20% purity, which international powers consider dangerously close to a weapons-grade capability,” agree to ship its stockpile of nuclear fuel to a third country for storage, open its nuclear facilities to more thorough international inspections, and close the enrichment facility near Qom, the Journal report said.
Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz called Iran’s reported offer a “joke.”
In a statement released by his office Wednesday morning, Steinitz said that “the so-called gestures offered by Iran [in the report] are a joke. The closure of the Qom facility would mean that, in its first year of nuclear capability, Iran would be able to produce five bombs instead of six, and the limiting of uranium enrichment to 20% is even less significant in a situation where Iran already has 20,000 centrifuges.”
A close colleague of Netanyahu’s, Likud MK Tzachi Hanegbi, told The Times of Israel soon after Netanyahu’s speech that the prime minister was indicating to Iran that Israel will take action “even if the Americans will be prevented from acting.”

At least Israel will not fall into this trap:

The IAF carried out training this week for long distance flights by fighter jets and attacks against targets thousands of kilometers away from Israel's borders. In an unusual move, the IDF published video documentation of the drill, in what diplomatic sources estimate is an intentional warning to Iran and the world.

The exercise took place in the area of Greece, with the participation of dozens of IAF jets. They rehearsed midair refueling and attacks against remote targets.
The documentation is being published as the so-called P5+1 powers prepare to resume talks with Iran over its nuclear program next month.

While the IAF holds similar exercises from time to time, this is the first time that Israel has allowed documentation of the exercises to be published. Diplomatic sources estimated that this is a message from Israel to the world, that it has not given up the option to use force against Iran's nuclear program.

The IAF website wrote that “When people say that 'all options are on the table,' one understands that they are also talking about military options. The IAF – the long arm of the IDF – is responsible for implementing this option if need be, and to this end, the squadrons are rehearsing and strengthening the spectrum of abilities – in long range flights, among other things.

“In this field, the IAF has to develop the relevant abilities for operations, from a focused operation to a wide-ranging one.”

As a follow-up to Approaching Tyranny: Watching The Big Picture, we see the following articles which need to be read and which are chilling:

Editors and reporters have had their phone and emails records seized. Some have been investigated, while others are under surveillance by their coworkers. Sources are afraid to speak out. Individuals can face felony charges for speaking truthfully. Fear and apprehension are setting in.
Downie interviewed numerous reporters and editors, including a top editor at the Associated Press, following revelations this year that the government secretly seized records for telephone lines and switchboards used by more than 100 AP journalists. Downie also interviewed journalists whose sources have been prosecuted on felony charges.
Those suspected of discussing classified information are increasingly subject to investigation, lie-detector tests, scrutiny of telephone and email records, and now surveillance by coworkers under a new "Insider Threat Program" that has been implemented in every agency.
"There's no question that sources are looking over their shoulders," Michael Oreskes, the AP's senior managing editor, told Downie. "Sources are more jittery and more standoffish, not just in national security reporting. A lot of skittishness is at the more routine level. The Obama administration has been extremely controlling and extremely resistant to journalistic intervention."
A monumental shift appears to be taking place. The American press is experiencing firsthand what a police state looks like. They're finally getting a taste of how totalitarian governments suppress and control the press and ultimately enslave their citizens. Genuine fear may have awakened the press from its slumber.
Let's hope this trend continues. Tyranny is at our doorstep. We need all hands on deck to fight this darkness, including the liberal mainstream press corps that has been asleep at its post since 2008.

The Australian native went on to criticize the US leadership saying that the White House was abusing its power more than any other administration in history.

“Barack Obama has prosecuted more people under the Espionage Act, more journalistic sources under the Espionage Act than all the previous presidents combined going back to 1917. In fact, he has prosecuted double that number. This is a deliberate decision by the White House to create a chilling effect using the Espionage Act as opposed to some other mechanism.”

Well, there we see it. The mask is coming off. The print media is under wraps. Wonder if the MSM of the air waves will wake up fast enough. Somehow I doubt it....surely, not them, they must think.

Ain't it funny how this works.

Now, the articles on Obamacare was truly eye opening. Intentionally make it impossible to comply and then punish for not complying.
