Pro-Israel, pro-Palestinian protesters clash as UCLA allows both groups to express their views on campus

Pro-Israel, pro-Palestinian protesters clash as UCLA allows both groups to express their views on campus

Protests at US universities have showed no sign of slowing over the weekend, with more arrests on campuses and a brief skirmish between pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian demonstrators at California’s UCLA, where a tent encampment was set up last week.

As the size of an anti-Israel encampment at the University of California at Los Angeles expanded in recent days, counter-protesters have become increasingly vocal and visible on the campus, although both sides remained peaceful until today.

The tone turns ugly at around midday when members of two groups of protesters clashed – shoving one another and shouting, and in some cases trading punches.

Posts on social media say that at least one person was injured during the clashes.

Security guards attempt to keep the two sides separated, while campus police stand by and watch the brief skirmish, according to a Reuters photographer who witnessed the scene at around noon local time.

The dueling demonstrations involve at least some people from outside the university, which issued a statement saying it had allowed two groups on campus to express their views.

This is @UCLA where people have shown up in force to stand up to the pro-terror mob. Notice there is no screaming or genocidal chants and no masks. Just a sea of Israeli and American flags.

Dutch Fear More Antisemitic Attacks; Jews Consider Fleeing

Dutch Fear More Antisemitic Attacks; Jews Consider Fleeing
Stefan J. Bos

Dutch legislators want April 25 to be an annual national day against antisemitism after a rising number of violent incidents against citizens of Jewish descent.

After an emotionally charged debate at the House of Representatives, a proposal was adopted to have a yearly parliamentary debate on that day about hatred towards Jews.

The initiative comes as the Netherlands prepares for the annual May 4 ‘Remembrance of the Dead’ when the Dutch remember Jews and others who died in World War Two and post-war armed conflicts or peacekeeping missions.

Legislators fear pro-Palestine groups will interrupt the live televised two minutes of silence for victims, including the roughly 102,000 Jews deported from the Netherlands and murdered in Nazi death camps.

Caroline van der Plas, who leads the Farmer–Citizen Movement party (BBB), blamed antisemitism at least in part on the massive Muslim migration to the Netherlands, long seen as Europe’s most tolerant liberal nation.

She cited research showing that most people in Islamic nations do not condemn the October 7 Hamas massacre of 1,200 people in Israel. Van der Plas recalled that the “German government requires newcomers to acknowledge the Holocaust and pledge to protect Jews.” She said she wants the Netherlands to demand a similar pledge from asylum seekers.

In an emotional speech, she wondered how someone who died in the Holocaust, also known as the Shoah, would feel about the Netherlands now.

Van der Plas noted that the Netherlands had become a nation where supermarkets remove products from Israel, where a rabbi has been mistreated in a shop, where a Jewish singer was attacked on stage by pro-Palestine protesters, where a theater makes a difference between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ Jews, with ‘good’ Jews meaning those who support Palestine.

In addition, there have been reports of people swearing and spitting at Jewish Dutch people, including Holocaust survivors or their relatives, even during the recent opening of the Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam.

Anti-Israel protesters have also been linked to defacing synagogues and shouting slogans such as “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!” at train stations and other locations.

Dutch police said they received 880 reports of anti-Semitism last year, over 300 more than in 2022.

Brentner: Five Popular Lies About The Gathering Up Of The Church

5 POPULAR LIES ABOUT THE RAPTURE
J BRENTNER

One of the most unpopular beliefs among Christians today is that of the pre-Tribulation Rapture. Many not only scoff at our expectation of meeting Jesus in the air, but also ridicule those of us who believe it could happen at any moment.

The resulting silence in most pulpits today regarding our “blessed hope” has opened the door for a great many misconceptions about it to flourish. For many, social media and Internet searches have replaced sound biblical teaching regarding our “blessed hope.”

Below are five popular lies about the Rapture.

1. BELIEF IN THE RAPTURE BEGAN WITH JOHN DARBY

Despite clear and overwhelming evidence to the contrary, most Christians remain convinced that belief in the pre-Tribulation Rapture began with John Darby. They claim that since no one in the church held this viewpoint prior to the nineteenth century, we shouldn’t ascribe to something no one believed before the time of Darby.

This assertion is blatantly false.

In AD 180, Irenaeus wrote Against Heresies to refute the errors of Gnosticism. In Book 5, Chapter 29, of Against Heresies he wrote these words:

And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, “There shall be Tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be.”[1]

In the above quote, this early prominent early church theologian used the same Greek word for “caught up,” harpazo, that Paul used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, a favorite Rapture verse of many. He clearly had this passage in mind.

While his words don’t specify a pre-Tribulation Rapture, they do reveal Irenaeus’ belief that the event portrayed in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, the harpazo, would come before a time of extended Tribulation on the earth as presented in Matthew 24:21ff during which time the church would be absent from the earth.

His words also confirm an early belief in Jesus’ appearance for His church that’s separate from the Second Coming. He didn’t combine the two events as most do today.

In my book, The Triumph of the Redeemed, I document beliefs similar to that of Irenaeus in the following documents or writers:

  • The Shepherd of Hermas (about AD 140)

  • Cyprian (AD 200–258)

  • The Apocalypse of Elijah (Third Century AD)

  • Ephraim the Syrian (AD 306–373)

  • Morgan Edwards (1722–1795)

Each of the above examples, which predate John Darby by an exceptionally long time, express the belief that Jesus would remove His church from the earth before a period of extended judgment upon it. Ephraim clearly believed in a pre-Tribulation Rapture although Morgan Edwards placed it at the midpoint of the Tribulation.

Ongoing research into the history of the church continues to uncover more occurrences of a belief in the removal of the church from the world followed by a time of tribulation and after that, the Second Coming.

In his book, Dispensationalism Before Darby, Dr. William C. Watson devoted an entire chapter to instances of belief in the Rapture during seventeenth century England. In a few of the cases, writers used the word “Rapture” while others referred to some who would be “left behind.” Church history is full of references, long before the time of Darby, that place Jesus’ appearing for His church before a time of tribulation that precedes the Second Coming.

Are the Rich Making Exit Plans as America Struggles to Survive?

Are the Rich Making Exit Plans as America Struggles to Survive?

It’s no secret that America is a deeply troubled nation. Runaway crime, inflation, soaring obesity rates, poor health outcomes, the breakdown of social comity… the list is as well-known as it is interminable. Perhaps the most significant class divide in the next few years will be between those rich enough to walk away from the mess and those with no choice but to stay put and endure it.

“Wealthy US families are increasingly applying for second citizenships and national residences as a way to hedge their financial risk, according to a leading law firm,” CNBC reported earlier this month.

“The wealthy are building these ‘passport portfolios’ – collections of second, and even third or fourth citizenships – in case they need to flee their home country,” the financial news site writes. “Henley & Partners, a law firm that specializes in high-net-worth citizenships, said Americans now outnumber every other nationality when it comes to securing alternative residences or added citizenships.”

If the Titanic is approaching the iceberg, the immensely well-off are ensuring they have secured their place in the lifeboat. “Recent high-profile examples of second citizenships include billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel, who added a citizenship in New Zealand, and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who applied for citizenship in Cyprus,” CNBC notes.

It’s hard not to see the trend as an inevitable outcome of rich Americans aggressively embracing globalism in pursuit of additional revenue streams. Glenn Hutchins, a powerful private equity investor who donates heavily to Democrat causes, was quoted in The Atlantic 13 years ago saying:

“A person in Africa who runs a big African bank and went to Harvard might have more in common with me than he does with his neighbors, and I could well share more overlapping concerns and experiences with him than with my neighbors….

“Beijing has a lot in common with New York, London, or Mumbai. You see the same people, you eat in the same restaurants, you stay in the same hotels. But most important, we are engaged as global citizens in crosscutting commercial, political, and social matters of common concern. We are much less place-based than we used to be.”

The gulf between average Americans and the rich and super-wealthy is only growing as middle- and lower-class citizens struggle mightily with runaway inflation during the Biden years.

“The wealth of the top 1% hit a record $44.6 trillion at the end of the fourth quarter [2023], as an end-of-year stock rally lifted their portfolios, according to new data from the Federal Reserve,” CNBC reported in March. “The total net worth of the top 1%, defined by the Fed as those with wealth over $11 million, increased by $2 trillion in the fourth quarter. All of the gains came from their stock holdings. The value of corporate equities and mutual fund shares held by the top 1% surged to $19.7 trillion from $17.65 trillion the previous quarter.”

In contrast, the rest of America is hurting. Even Democrats and their media allies are beginning to grasp the extent of the rising discontent, and its potential political ramifications.

Poland Could Soon Be Home to NATO Nukes

Poland Could Soon Be Home to NATO Nukes

Poland is ready for nukes. As a NATO country with many unfriendly neighbors, having a nuclear umbrella close at hand is clearly appealing. However, when it comes to nuclear arms, just having them available on your real estate is a controversial and tricky issue. This is particularly true for new NATO members. Russia is particularly sensitive about former Warsaw Pact countries gaining prominence in the Alliance.

Sensibilities on this score would be particularly keen regarding Poland, which has become one of the stronger bulwarks against Russian adventurism among the newly matriculated Alliance members.

The option of having atomic weapons on Polish soil does not suggest that Warsaw would have control or discretion in the use of the weapons. Instead, Poland would be another NATO nation as part of the nuclear sharing with a Dual-Capable Aircraft (DCA), conventional and nuclear, Polish Air Force. The timing for the Polish Air Force (PAF) is fortuitous since it will be integrating 32 DCA fifth-generation stealthy F-35A Lightning IIs in its inventory starting this year.

Currently, seven Alliance member states possess DCA that could be used in a crisis: Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, and the United States. The United Kingdom and France have nuclear weapons with their own appropriate delivery systems. The nuclear sharing concept holds that NATO nations not possessing nuclear weapons have the opportunity to be part of the planning and employment of nuclear arms by contributing aircraft to deliver the weapons.

Nuclear sharing and its place in NATO’s commitment to deterrence are integral to the Alliance’s Strategic Concept, which states:

“The Alliance is committed to ensuring greater integration and coherence of capabilities and activities across all domains and the spectrum of conflict, while reaffirming the unique and distinct role of nuclear deterrence. NATO will continue to maintain credible deterrence, strengthen its strategic communications, enhance the effectiveness of its exercises and reduce strategic risks.”

As expected, Russia has had something to say about the placing of nuclear weapons in Poland. Moscow is against it. In a threatening statement, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov cautioned that “a further round of tension will occur. And in general, this game is very dangerous, its consequences may be hard to predict.” The threats from Moscow are not hard to predict, however. Russians having moved nuclear warheads into Belarus and positioned intermediate-range nuclear-capable missiles close to countries bordering Russia raises the hypocrisy flag on the Kremlin’s spokesman – consequently, his warning rings hollow.

Arctic Sea Ice Soars to Highest Level for 21 Years

Arctic Sea Ice Soars to Highest Level for 21 Years

The dramatic, if largely unpublicised, recovery in Arctic sea ice is continuing into the New Year. Despite the contestable claims of the ‘hottest year ever’ (and even hotter in 2024), Arctic sea ice on January 8th stood at its highest level in 21 years. Last December, the U.S.-based National Snow and IceData Centre (NSIDC) revealed that sea ice recorded its third highest monthly gain in the modern 45-year record. According to the science blog No Tricks Zone, the reading up to January 8th has now far exceeded the average for the years 2011-2020. It also exceeds the average for the years 2001-2010, and points directly upwards with regard to the average for the years 1991-2000.

The graph below shows the scale of the recovery compared to all the years tracked in the modern satellite record.

Of course this is only about half a winter’s worth of data, and we must be careful not to follow alarmists down their chosen political path of cherry picking and warning of climate collapse on the basis of individual events. But as we have seen in recent Daily Sceptic articles, the current recovery in Arctic sea ice is a climate trend that can be taken back to around 2007. In a recent paper, the Danish scientist Allan Astrup Jensen provided data showing a fall in the sea ice between 1997 and 2007 but minimal losses in the 45-year record both before and after this period. The investigative journalist Tony Heller draws a four-year moving average to show a small recovery in the lowest ice extent in September from around 2012.  He also notes that 1979 was a recent high point, with lower ice levels in the 1970s going back to the 1950s.

Where does all this leave the alarmists promoting their insane collectivist Net Zero project? Stuck up a frozen creek without an ice pick, it might be suggested. In 2022, Sir David Attenborough told BBC viewers that the summer sea ice could all be gone within 12 years. Climate models fed with opinions and wishful thinking seem to have guided him in his lamentations rather than the actual data. But if the icecontinues to roar back, it is likely that the sea ice scare will have to be retired, along with all the disappearing coral popping up in record amounts on the Great Barrier Reef.

Cyclical natural climate variations, observed in the past record going back to the early 1800s, appear to offer a better explanation of trends in the polar sea ice extent. Little understood effects of ocean currents and atmospheric heat exchanges are obvious drivers of the climate in the far north. Taking the view that humans, and only humans, control the climate temperature would appear to be a dead end in understanding Arctic glaciology.

Moscow responds to EU diplomat’s Crimean Bridge threat

Moscow responds to EU diplomat’s Crimean Bridge threat
RT

Lithuanian ambassador to Sweden Linas Linkevicius and other “US lapdogs” will regret their “gaffes,” Russia’s deputy representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, has said in response to a veiled threat against the Crimean Bridge made by Linkevicius on social media on Saturday.

Linkevicius published a message on X (formerly Twitter), which featured three images: one of Russia’s Crimean Bridge, another captured the launch of what appeared to be a US-made ATACMS missile, and the third showing Russian President Vladimir Putin in a reflective mood. The caption under the images reads: “If someone hasn’t had a chance to take a photo at the Kerch bridge, it’s still time.”

The message by the ambassador of the Baltic nation – which is a member of NATO and the EU – came just days after White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan confirmed that the US had secretly delivered a “significant” number of ATACMS missiles, which have a range of up to 300km, to Ukraine. With his post, Linkevicius appears to imply that the long-range munitions could be used to attack the 19-kilometer-long Crimean Bridge.

Polyansky replied to the Lithuanian diplomat on X on Saturday, saying that “servile Baltic US lapdogs... rabidly bark now but they will pathetically whine later when the judgment day arrives.”

Linkevicius and others like him will eventually regret “all such gaffes,” he warned.

The Crimean Bridge, which was built between 2016 and 2018, used to be the only road and railway link between the peninsula and mainland Russia. However, the addition of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions and the Donetsk People’s Republic to Russia after referendums in the fall of 2022 opened a vast land bridge to Crimea. The Lugansk People’s Republic also joined after a referendum held at the same time.

In an interview with German media earlier in April, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was asked if Kiev was going to try to destroy the Crimean Bridge this year. “We want it very much,” he replied.

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said the fact that Ukrainian officials openly speak about their “aggressive terrorist plans” against Russian infrastructure again proves that the decision to launch a military operation against Kiev was correct.

Netanyahu vows: No ICC decision will undermine Israel’s basic right to self-defense against Hamas

Netanyahu vows: No ICC decision will undermine Israel’s basic right to self-defense against Hamas

The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague is currently probing the Hamas Oct. 7 attack against Israel, along with Israel’s military operations against Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed, however, on Friday that no ruling by the ICC would impact Israel’s right to self-defense against Hamas and other terrorist militias.

“Under my leadership, Israel will never accept any attempt by the International Criminal Court in The Hague to undermine its basic right to defend itself,” Netanyahu stated.

The prime minister and other top Israeli leaders have repeatedly vowed to dismantle Hamas as a military and political power in Gaza to prevent the terror group from ever repeating a similar Oct. 7-type attack against Israel. Hamas' invasion and massacre led to the deaths of at least 1,200 Israeli men, women and children.

Netanyahu further warned that politicized decisions by the ICC could potentially threaten soldiers and political leaders of other Western democracies that fight terrorism, such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

“While decisions made by the court in The Hague will not affect Israel’s actions, they will set a dangerous precedent that threatens soldiers and public figures,” Netanyahu said.

U.S. and British military forces are currently engaged in battles against the Iranian-backed Houthi terror militia in Yemen, which has terrorized international shipping in the Red Seafor the past six months.

Jerusalem is reportedly concerned that the ICC could potentially issue arrest warrants against Netanyahu and other top Israeli political and military leaders.

Last week, Israel's Channel 12 news reported that the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) held an “emergency discussion” to address the potential legal threat from the ICC, although It is unclear whether the ICC has jurisdiction to rule on issues related to the war between Hamas and Israel.

Israel is not a member state of the ICC and does not recognize the court's jurisdiction. However, the Palestinian Authority (PA) was accepted as a member state in 2015 despite not being recognized as an independent state.

World Economic Forum meeting in Riyadh focuses on Israel-Hamas war

World Economic Forum meeting in Riyadh focuses on Israel-Hamas war

A two-day World Economic Forum special meeting kicks off in Riyadh, with a focus on the war between Israel and Hamas.

Israel is not participating in the event in the Saudi capital, attended by the American, French, German, Emirati, Saudi, Jordanian, Egyptian and Turkish foreign ministers.

Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jadaan says in a panel discussion that the war in Gaza, as well as the Ukraine conflict, puts “a lot of pressure” on the economic “mood.”

“I think cool-headed countries and leaders and people need to prevail,” he says. “The region needs stability.”

A Gaza-focused session on Monday is set to feature newly appointed Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Sigrid Kaag, the United Nations aid coordinator for the Gaza Strip.

On Saturday, Saudi planning minister Faisal Alibrahim said that the world is “walking a tightrope right now, trying to balance security and prosperity.”

“We meet at a moment when one misjudgment or one miscalculation or one miscommunication will further exacerbate our challenges.”

WEF president Borge Brende said there was “some new momentum now in the talks around the hostages, and also for… a possible way out of the impasse we are faced with in Gaza.”

To appease environmentalists, FTC will 'cripple' U.S. energy

To appease environmentalists, FTC will 'cripple' U.S. energy
Justin Bis

From fueling cars to heating homes to providing raw materials for much of the stuff that makes modern life possible, the oil and gas industry is indispensable to economic activity and comfortable living. Significant disruptions to the smooth functioning of the industry could have ripple effects throughout the entire economy, impacting businesses and consumers alike. At a time when inflation remains stubbornly high, the industry is a bright spot in the U.S. economy. Spurred on by technological development, abundant natural resources, and a dynamic market built upon the rule of law, America’s energy industry is undergoing a major renaissance. Despite political assaults grounded in the Biden administration’s hostility to fossil fuels, it remains the world’s largest supplier fuel supplier. But hasty and politically motivated FTC investigations, cheered on by allies in Congress, could erode progress and prosperity.

The FTC is currently blocking at least four mergers and acquisitions in the industry – between Chesapeake Energy and Southwest Energy, Chevron and Hess, Exxon and Pioneer Natural Resources, and Occidental and Crown Rock. The allegation is that mergers of these American companies would limit competition and hurt consumers. Count me unconvinced. The only unusual aspect of these deals is the lengths the FTC is willing to go to stop them. For an example of the unprecedented nature of this obstruction, Occidental (or “Oxy”) completed an acquisition valued at $57 billion less than four years ago gaining FTC approval about one month after it was announced. The FTC has now delayed Oxy’s deal with Crown Rock, which is less than one-fourth the size of the earlier acquisition, for more than six months. And there appears to be no light at the end of the tunnel.

These deals present the perfect opportunity for opposition based on the convergence of the storms of the Biden administration’s desire to accelerate a transition away from oil and gas, whether consumers want it or not, with the FTC’s efforts to entertain novel theories and to push the bounds of the law in order to amass even more power. As the Wall Street Journal recently revealed, “Some staff think failure in court may even be Ms. Khan’s goal. As one wrote: ‘I’m not sure being successful (or doing things well) is a shared goal, as the Chair wants to show that we can’t meet our mission mandate without legislative change.’” As the Journal’s editorial board opined, “This isn’t the role of the FTC, which is supposed to follow the law that Congress has already written.”

Blocking deals will send shockwaves throughout energy and capital markets and signal once and for all that America’s flirtation with energy independence is coming to an ignominious end. Most importantly, the decline of the oil and gas industry would be disastrous for the American people. The industry supports more than 10 million jobs in the United States.  The product: cheap, reliable, and local energy is critical to American manufacturing and to the high standard of living we all enjoy. Beyond America’s shores, the export of liquified natural gas is decoupling European and Asian countries from the grips of authoritarian Russia and China. A robust oil and gas industry makes America wealthier, safer, and promotes peace abroad.

Truth Has Become A Casualty In Modern Journalism

Truth Has Become A Casualty In Modern Journalism

Journalism once provided truthful insight into the news of the day. Follow-up exposés were common as more information became available. Readers were encouraged and enabled to understand the implications of the facts surrounding the news and arrive at a well-informed perspective.

Public perspective, in turn, formed public opinion, which, more than anything else, drove America’s elected representatives to voice the views of their constituents in state houses and in the federal government.

Those days are long past.

We should all be mourning the death of truth, but alas, few recognize what has happened to truth as a tool to strengthen nations and guard against ruinous corruption.

Truth has become a casualty of evil people’s schemes. The murder of truth was intentionally committed by individuals and organizations who cannot accomplish their goals through rational, logical, and reasonable public debate. The world is in the grips of mass propaganda, deceit, and an otherworldly strong delusion. Let me explain.

Across America, college campuses have become a tinderbox of irrational, inflamed rhetoric and violence toward Jewish students and, of course, Israel. The favorite villain of the left, progressive, Marxist, and Islamic jihadi instigators of global hatred has always been Israel. Why is this the case? An old idiom explains this phenomenon well: “Follow the money.”

Recently, Amir Tsarfati revealed interesting data from the US Department of Education and the National Association of Scholars. Since 2001, the tiny nation of Qatar has given roughly $5 billion to American universities, with approximately $2.7 billion given between 2014-2019.

Some might wonder why this matters. It matters because Qatar also happens to be the home of the leadership of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. Qatar claims to be the voice of reason between Israel and Hamas, trumpeting itself as the perfect mediator to deliver peace to the Middle East. This claim is the height of hyperbole and is downright laughable.

The truth is that along with Iran, the PLO, and the Muslim Brotherhood, Qatar is the biggest financial supporter of terrorism in the region, and now, through its financial support to American universities, globally.

Given these facts, what are the odds that Columbia University, the University of Southern California, or Ohio State University will crack down on “student” protests that are virulently antisemitic and have turned violent?

Universities have had bloated and unnecessary budget spending not tied to education goals for decades. Shutting down these university protests, which clearly vocalize the Qatari, Hamas, and Muslim Brotherhood Islamic terror propaganda message of Jew-hatred and anti-Israelism, would jeopardize a large source of financial support. Now you know why university presidents and boards of trustees sit in silence, refusing to do anything to stop this hatred.

French FM visits Lebanon in bid to prevent Israel-Hezbollah war

France’s foreign minister will push proposals to prevent further escalation and a potential war between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah during a visit to Lebanon on Sunday as Paris seeks to refine a roadmap that both sides could accept to ease tensions.

France has historical ties with Lebanon and earlier this year Stephane Sejourne delivered an initiative that proposed Hezbollah’s elite unit pull back 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the Israeli border, while Israel would halt strikes in southern Lebanon.

The two have exchanged tit for tat strikes in recent months, but the exchanges have increased since Iran launched a barrage of missiles on Israel in response to a suspected Israeli attack on the Iranian embassy compound in the Syrian capital Damascus that killed members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ overseas Quds Force, including two generals.

France’s proposal, which has been discussed with partners, notably the United States, has not moved forward, but Paris wants to keep momentum in talks and underscore to Lebanese officials that Israeli threats of a military operation in southern Lebanon should be taken seriously.

Hezbollah has maintained it will not enter any concrete discussion until there is a ceasefire in Gaza, where the war between Israel and Islamist terror group Hamas has entered its sixth month.

Israel has also said it wants to ensure calm is restored on its northern border so that thousands of displaced Israelis can return to the area without fear of rocket attacks from across the border.

“The objective is to prevent a regional conflagration and avoid that the situation deteriorates even more on the border between Israel and Lebanon,” foreign ministry deputy spokesperson Christophe Lemoine said at a news conference.

Earthquake Today: Magnitude 6.5 quake strikes off Indonesia’s Java island

A magnitude-6.5 earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia's Java island on Saturday, the country's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) reported.

The quake, which the United States Geological Survey recorded at a magnitude of 6.1, was felt in capital Jakarta -- where people were forced to evacuate buildings -- and in nearby Bandung.

Hezbollah militants reportedly targeted several Israeli military installations, including a critical air surveillance base on Mount Meron with a barrage of rockets and drones on Saturday, after a series of Israeli airstrikes targeted southern Lebanon earlier in the day.

Dozens of missiles struck Mount Meron, the highest summit in Israeli territory outside the Golan Heights, late Saturday night, according to videos circulating online. However, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) claimed all of the rockets were “either intercepted or fell in open areas,” with no damage or casualties reported, according to the Times of Israel and Jerusalem Post.

The Lebanese militant group claimed responsibility for the strike, saying in a statement early Sunday that “in response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and civilian homes” it targeted the “Meron settlement and the surrounding settlements with dozens of Katyusha rockets.”

The Israeli Meron air base and its surroundings are being subjected to the strongest targeting operation so far. Iron dome seems to be absent, rockets are landing and there are reports of precise targeting on the base (probably ATGMS).

The paramilitary group said it also “launched a complex attack using explosive drones and guided missiles on the headquarters of the Al Manara military command and a gathering of forces from the 51st Battalion of the Golani Brigade,” earlier on Saturday. The IDF said it intercepted the incoming projectiles and “struck the sources of fire” in the Lebanese border area.

On Saturday, the Israeli Air Force conducted a series of strikes in the villages of Al-Quzah, Markaba, and Sarbin in southern Lebanon with airstrikes, allegedly targeting Hezbollah’s “terrorist and military infrastructure.” On Friday, the IDF also struck several structures in Kfarkela and Kfarchouba.

The Israeli strikes reportedly killed at least three people, including two Hezbollah fighters whom the goupt mourned in separate statements on Saturday. The Lebanese media reported that a further 11 people, including Syrian citizens, were injured in the attacks.

The Teams Are Set For World War III

The Teams Are Set For World War III

I’ve seen some crazy things over the last few years but this is off-the-charts insane.

Last week, Michael E. Mann spoke at the EcoHeath Alliance: Green Planet One Health Benefit 2024. Just to recap who each of these players are:

  • Michael E. Mann is the creator of the “hockey stick graph” that has driven the global warming debate for the last 25 years.

  • EcoHealth Alliance is the CIA cutout led by Peter Daszak that launders money from the NIH to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to create gain-of-function viruses (including SARS-CoV-2 which killed over 7 million people).

  • “One Health” is the pretext the World Health Organization (WHO) is using to drive the Pandemic Treaty that will vastly expand the powers of the WHO and create economic incentives for every nation on earth to develop new gain-of-function viruses.

So a leader in the global warming movement spoke at an event to raise money for the organization that just murdered 7 million people and the campaign that intends to launch new pandemics in perpetuity to enrich the biowarfare industrial complex.

And then just for good measure, Peter Hotez reposted all of this information on Twitter, I imagine in solidarity with all of the exciting genociding going on.

Mann’s appearance at this event is emblematic of a disturbing shift that has been years in the making. Serious and thoughtful people in the environmental movement tried to address industrial and military pollution for decades. Now their cause has been co-opted by Big Tech and other corporate actors with malevolent intentions — and the rest of the environmental movement has gone along with this, apparently without objection.

So we are witnessing a convergence between the global warming movement, the biowarfare industrial complex, and the WHO pandemic treaty grifters.

I wish it wasn’t true but here we are.

Before I go any further I need to make one thing clear: the notion that pandemics are driven by global warming is complete and total bullsh*t. The evidence is overwhelming that pandemics are created by the biowarfare industrial complex including the 13,000 psychopaths who work at over 400 US bioweapons labs (as described in great detail in The Wuhan Cover-Up).

Unfortunately “global warming” has become a cover for the proliferation of the biowarfare industrial economy.

TEAM TYRANNY

Their base: Elites, billionaires, the ruling class, the biowarfare industrial complex, intelligence agencies, and bougie technocrats.

Institutions they control: WEF, WHO, UN, BMGF, World Bank, IMF, most universities, the mainstream media, and liberal governments throughout the developed world.

Economic philosophy: The billionaires should control all wealth on earth. The peasants should only be allowed to exist to serve the billionaires, grow food, and fix the machines when necessary. Robots and Artificial Intelligence will soon be able to replace most of the peasants.

Political philosophy: Centralized control of everything. Elites know best. The 90% should shut up, pay their taxes, take their vaccines, develop chronic disease, and die. High tech global totalitarianism is the best form of government. Billionaires are God.

Their currency: For now, inflationary Federal Reserve policies. Soon, Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) that will put the peasants in their place once and for all.

Policy vehicles to advance their agenda: One Health; WHO Pandemic Treaty; social credit scores; climate scores; vaccine mandates/passports; lockdowns and quarantine camps; elimination of small farms and livestock; corporate control of all food, land, water, transportation, and the weather; corporate control of social movements; and 15-minute cities for the peasants.
