Canadian Official 'Expects Police To Take Appropriate Action' Against Truck Convoy At Border Crossing

Canadian Official 'Expects Police To Take Appropriate Action' As Truck Convoy Blocks US-Canada Border Crossing
TYLER DURDEN

Update (1550ET): At least 100 truckers are blocking the Canadian border between Alberta and Montana for a third day in protest of vaccine mandates - and Canadian officials are beginning to freak out.

On Sunday, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney called for an end to the blockade, saying in a statement: "Canadians have a democratic right to engage in lawful protests. I urge those involved in this truck convoy protest to do so as safely as possible, and not to create road hazards that could lead to accidents or unsafe conditions for other drivers."

Semi-trucks, cars and farm equipment filled Highway 4 south of Lethbridge on Saturday, in support of a national convoy to Ottawawith a stated goal of repealing a federal mandate requiring unvaccinated Canadian truckers re-entering Canada from the United States to get tested for COVID-19 and to quarantine. Some participating in both protests have expanded that goal, demonstrating against health orders and the federal government as a whole. -Calgary Herald

And it looks like Canada officials may be about to take action.

"If participants in this convoy cross the line and break the law, I expect police to take appropriate action," said Kenney.

The truckers, meanwhile, have voted to stay.

Canadian Prime Minister was accused of hypocrisy when he suddenly was nowhere to be found late last week as a convoy of truckers rolled into Ottawa to protest the government's COVID mandates. Many scoffed at Trudeau's sudden disappearing act when confronted by a massive crowd of protesters, many carrying signs mocking his comment that the truckers and their supporters were part of a "tiny fringe minority".

Rare UNSC Debate: U.S. Slammed For 'Whipping Up Tensions', 'Provoking Escalation' In Ukraine

US Charged With Trying To Provoke Russian Military Action At UN: "You Want It To Happen"
TYLER DURDEN

At a rare UN Security Council debate Monday, which was urged by the US but slammed by Russia as a publicity stunt - in order for Moscow to "explain itself" over what Washington has for weeks asserted are "imminent" plans to "invade" Ukraine - Russia's ambassador charged the US with seeking to provoke Russian action

"They themselves are whipping up tensions and rhetoric and are provoking escalation," Russian Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia said of US and NATO motives. "The discussions about a threat of war is provocative in and of itself. You are almost calling for this. You want it to happen. You're waiting for it to happen."

Just prior to the meeting at UN headquarters in New York, the Kremlin once again charged the US and and some allies, especially Britain, of stoking "hysteria": "To our dismay, American media have lately been publishing a very large amount of unverified, distorted and deliberately deceitful information about what's happening in Ukraine and around it," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Hysteria hyped up by Washington is causing hysteria in Ukraine, almost to the point that people are packing their bags for the front. It's a fact," he added. Last week Ukrainian leaders surprisingly made similar statements, seeking to calm their own population amid reports of people raiding grocery stores and taking out all their cash from banks. There have also been reports that average Ukrainians are stockpiling weapons in preparation for a Russian onslaught and occupation.

During the UN back-and-forth, US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield accused Russia of not just building up forces near the Ukrainian border, but of a massive force build-up in Belarus. She said Russia aims to send at least 30,000 troops to its closest former Soviet satellite state ally:

After placing some 5,000 troops in Belarus, "we've seen evidence that Russia intends to expand that presence to more than 30,000 troops near the Belarus border" with Ukraine by early February, US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield told the UN Security Council, noting the forces would be "less than two hours north of Kyiv."

Her words had echoes of recent admin officials who bizarrely claimed (without evidence) that Russia is looking to invade and take over the Ukraine capital. During the remarks, Thomas-Greenfield decried what she described as "the largest... mobilization of troops in Europe in decades."

"You heard from our Russian colleagues that we're calling for this meeting to make you all feel uncomfortable. Imagine how uncomfortable you would be if you had 100,000 troops sitting on your border in the way that these troops are sitting on the border with Ukraine," she said. "This is not about antics. It's not about rhetoric. It's not about 'U.S. and Russia.' What this is about is the peace and security of one of our member states."

Addressing the specific Russian charge that it's actually the US seeking to provoke, she responded, "I cannot let the false equivalency go unchecked, so I feel I must respond. ... The threats of aggression on the border of Ukraine - yes on its border - is provocative. Our recognition of the facts on the ground is not provocative."

Notably backing Russia was its powerful neighbor to the south, China:

In a sign of their increasing alignment, China was the only country to back Russia's effort to squash the public meeting. Its ambassador Zhang Jun said they oppose "microphone diplomacy of public confrontation" and believed the open discussion of the issue would add "fuel to the tension."

    4.5 Quake Hits Oklahoma

    4.5-Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Oklahoma

A 4.5-magnitude earthquake rocked northern Oklahoma Monday around 11 a.m. The United States Geological Survey located the quaketo be about 4.5 miles from the town of Medford, which is near the border of Kansas. After the tremors shook the Sooner State, the National Weather Service of Tulsa tweeted, “BIG earthquake just felt here at @NWSTulsa!” Injuries and damage have yet to be reported.

    Why 'Fed Coin' Is Dangerous

Why Fed Coin Is So Dangerous
     Todd Strandberg

Over the past couple of years, I’ve read several articles about the government’s research into the usage of a digital currency that is commonly referred to as a Fed coin. It turns out the Fed has been studying the possibility of issuing a cashless currency, and it issued a report on the pros and cons of implementing such a system.

The Federal Reserve, on releasing its long-awaited exploration of a digital dollar, took no position on the issuance of a central bank digital currency. The Fed’s strange ambiguity regarding a Fed coin is a clear indication that they are definitely working on such a system.

Billed as “the first step in a public discussion between the Federal Reserve and stakeholders about central bank digital currencies,” the 40-page paper shies away from any conclusions about a central bank digital currency or CBDC. The report was originally expected in the summer of 2021 but had been delayed.

“The introduction of a CBDC would represent a highly significant innovation in American money,” the report says. “Accordingly, broad consultation with the general public and key stakeholders is essential. This paper is the first step in such a conversation.”

One primary difference between the Fed’s dollar and other digital transactions is that current digital money is a liability of commercial banks, whereas the CBDC would be a Fed liability. Among other things, that would mean the Fed wouldn’t pay interest on money stored with it, though because it is riskless, some depositors may prefer to keep their money with the central bank.

A government’s appeal in creating a digital currency is the ability to control how it’s used by citizens. When the US government issued $3 trillion of stimulus money during the COVID-19 pandemic, the vast majority of the money was not spent. One report said that $2 trillion is still in people’s savings accounts.

If the Fed could issue a digital currency, and say, if you don’t spend this money by the end of the year, it will disappear, people would be in a mad rush to spend the money. The Fed could control what people spent their fed coins on. At first, they would stop people from spending their money on unhealthy things like beer and cigarettes, but then they would block anything that “the powers that be” don’t like.

A Fed coin would be incredibly dangerous in the hands of a despotic government. It could monitor the accounts of all its enemies; it could track the activity of all citizens. If you bought a cup of coffee for someone on the government’s naughty list, the feds could come to you with questions.

I don’t know if Fed coin is going to be the system that the Antichrist will use to control the world. When bitcoin came out, some people speculated that it was the mark of the beast, but now there are 17,000 of these cryptocurrencies. The 666 system could come out of any financial institution. Technology has advanced to the point where a lot of people are probably wondering why we already don’t have a mark-like system.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six” – (Revelation 13:16-18).

U.S. vs Russia In UN Security Council Debate: Watch Live

Watch Live: US & Russia Square Off In Rare UN Security Council Debate
    TYLER DURDEN

The UN Security Council in New York is set to meet at 10am EST after the US demanded that Moscow "explain itself" over what Washington has for weeks asserted is "imminent" plans to "invade" Ukraine.

"Our voices are unified in calling for the Russians to explain themselves," Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield told the US Sunday news shows. "We’re going into the room prepared to listen to them, but we’re not going to be distracted by their propaganda."

But voices aren't exactly "unified" on the 15-member council, given especially China's stance. Lately Beijing has issued rare condemnation of NATO's history of expansion and has called for calm.

China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told reporters late last week that "China and Russia see each other as a priority in our respective diplomacy. There is no ceiling to China-Russia mutual trust, no forbidden zone in our strategic cooperation and no limit on how far our longstanding friendship can go."

Russia has denounced Monday's meeting as a "shameful public-relations stunt" orchestrated by the US:

“I can’t recall another occasion when a SC member proposed to discuss its own baseless allegations and assumptions as a threat to intl order from someone else,” wrote Dmitry Polyanski, Russia’s first deputy permanent representative to the U.N., Friday on Twitter.

    WATCH THE MEETING LIVE HERE:

Moscow is expected to for the first time lay out its case condemning NATO's eastward expansion, which threatens Russia's security, before a large Western and global audience.

As The Wall Street Journal points out Monday, the debate could also serve as a barometer gauging Western allies' appetite for imposing extensive sanctions or even military action...

"In addition to Russia, China and other countries often oppose U.S. priorities at the U.N. A former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. said Thursday that a challenge on the Security Council is accurately calculating the extent of support for the U.S. position among other members, especially on this kind of sensitive issue," WSJ observes.

Trudeau's 'Disappearing Act' Continues: Now Tests 'Positive' For CV After Isolation

Trudeau Tests Positive For COVID While Hiding Out From Canadian Truckers
    TYLER DURDEN

Canadian Prime Minister was accused of hypocrisy when he suddenly was nowhere to be found late last week as a convoy of truckers rolled into Ottawa to protest the government's COVID mandates.

Many scoffed at Trudeau's sudden disappearing act when confronted by a massive crowd of protesters, many carrying signs mocking his comment that the truckers and their supporters were part of a "tiny fringe minority".

Making matters worse for the PM, Canadian media reported Monday morning that Trudeau had been diagnosed with COVID, despite receiving a booster dose early this month on Jan. 4.

Is it possible to get infected with COVID while being boosted and in hiding? Or has Trudeau really been stricken with COWARD-19?

The truckers are protesting a new measure imposed by the Canadian government on Jan. 15 requiring unvaccinated cross-border truckers to quarantine upon returning home, making it virtually impossible for them to work. The convoy ended outside Parliament in Ottawa over the weekend, as thousands of protesters gathered.

Trudeau had reportedly decided to isolate due to one of his children testing positive for COVID. Now it appears he too has tested positive. Of maybe this is just another excuse for him to remain in hiding?

Former President Trump praised the Canadian truckers over the weekend, proclaiming that they were doing more to protect American freedoms than any lawmakers.

According to his own quarantine requirements, Trudeau now has an excuse to remain in hiding for up to 14 days.

Kremlin On Sanctions Threat: Attack On Russian Businesses Means There Will Be Retaliation

Kremlin on UK Sanctions Threat: Attack on Russian Businesses Means There Will Be Retaliation
    Sputnik News

London promised a new round of restrictions against Russian companies in the coming days, citing so-called "Russian invasion plans" amid the Ukraine crisis.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Monday that London's plans to target Russia with sanctions are not legitimate, blasting the threats as "an attack on businesses".

"The British foreign secretary spoke about some sanctions. But here, I think, we must call everything by its proper name. Sanctions are something legitimate and something formally approved via a decision of the UN Security Council", Peskov said. "In this case, we are talking about an undisguised attack on businesses".

According to the official, any such aggression will bring countermeasures from Moscow to protect Russia's national interests.
In the meantime, Russian Ambassador to London Andrei Kelin stressed that the UK is now pursuing an "aggressive line" in Europe regarding the situation in Ukraine. According to him the statements about the "Russian threat" are caused, among other things, by Britain's domestic issues. He added that Moscow counts on restoring ties with the UK - both political and economic.

British media outlets previously reported that the cabinet plans to announce a new round of sanctions against Russia on 31 January, targeting energy companies and other "strategic" industries. At the same time, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss stated the government would present a new draft law in the UK Parliament in a bid to widen the anti-Russian sanctions list.

The threats come amid deteriorating ties caused by the Ukrainian crisis, as London continues to accuse Moscow of planning an invasion of Ukraine and seeking to install a "puppet government" in Kiev.
Moscow, in turn, blasted the allegation as "fake" and said that the escalation is deliberately being hyped up by the UK and the US, who are planning a provocation against Russia in Ukraine.

Caroline Glick: Ukraine And The American Crack-Up

    Ukraine and the American Crack-Up
    Caroline Glick

From Washington to Berlin to Warsaw to Kyiv, everyone says that only Russian President Vladimir Putin knows what he plans to do with the 120,000 troops he has deployed to the Ukrainian border. But at this point, even if Putin decides not to invade, even if he withdraws all of his forces from the border zone he has already won a strategic victory of historic proportions against the United States.

Without firing a bullet, Putin and his 120,000 soldiers have fomented the unofficial – but very real – break-up of the NATO alliance.

NATO is rightly considered one of the most successful military alliances in history. It was founded in 1949 at the outset of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States. Its purpose was to deter the Soviets from trying to expand their empire from Eastern and Central Europe into Western Europe. NATO’s success derived from two main factors.

First, NATO member states were by and large agreed that their common interest in preventing Soviet expansion outweighed their separate national interests, and so required collective action under the U.S. strategic umbrella. Second, the Soviets and America’s NATO allies all believed that the U.S. was strategically credible. The Soviets believed that the U.S. was serious about fulfilling its commitments to its NATO partners. And NATO members believed that the U.S. would make them pay a very severe price if they opted to blow off the alliance and cut a separate deal with the Soviet Union.

Today, NATO cannot act collectively against Putin in a coherent way because Germany no longer views Russia as a strategic threat, and no longer views the U.S. has a leader it needs to follow.

Much of the credit goes to Putin, who has been working towards this point for 15 years. Putin recognized that when used strategically, Russian energy exports could drive a wedge between NATO members.

Traditionally, Russian natural gas exports to Europe went overland through Poland and Ukraine. This meant that energy supplies to Germany and Western Europe were dependent on Russian energy exports to former Soviet bloc countries, and Germany needed to protect Poland and Ukraine to protect its own interests.

Today we see that Putin’s Baltic Sea gas pipeline – now known as Nord Stream 2 – did precisely what he hoped it would do. Over the past few weeks, the Germans have made little effort to hide that they are siding with Russia against Ukraine and their NATO allies.

But with all due respect to Putin and his successful use of energy exports as a strategic weapon, Putin couldn’t have pulled Germany away from NATO without Biden. Indeed, gas exports from Russia are more an excuse than an explanation for Germany’s moves.

The Germans feel free to walk away from their commitments to their NATO allies because they realize that the Biden administration won’t make them pay a price for their behavior. Like German Chancellor Olaf Sholtz, Biden has no intention of lifting a finger to protect Ukraine from Russia.

U.S. Conducts Nuclear Weapons War Games

US Conducts Nuclear Weapons Use War Games Amid Continuing Tensions With Russia Over Ukraine
    Sputnik News

As Ukraine-related tensions between the US and Russia continue, a Republican senator and member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Roger Wicker, recently suggested in several interviews that the US might get involved militarily in case of a conflict, including through the use of nukes against Russia.
The US Strategic Command, which controls American nuclear armament and everything related to their use (including strategic communications) has launched Global Lightning drills designed to test the branch's readiness to engage in nuclear warfare.
While the war games themselves have long been planned and are routine for the force, their timing, according to reports, is hardly the best. The US is constantly expressing concerns about an alleged Russian invasion in Ukraine and mulling retaliatory options. The last Global Lightning drills held in April 2021, involved the US using nuclear weapons as a deterrence in a hypothetical standoff with Russia.

This year, however, Global Lightning focuses on a response to potential nuclear conflict with China. The drill itself does not involve any nukes or even launches or bombings. Instead, the US Strategic Command checks nuclear command and control circuits, incorporates last year's innovations into previous tactics, and tests decision-making in accordance with a nuclear war plan.

The latter was last updated in 2019, but the first scarce information about the changes emerged only recently via Freedom of Information Request.
The new US nuclear war plan reflects a transition that NATO has been experiencing over the past years – a shift from fighting terrorism and a return to "great power competition". The shift and the latest additions to the US nuclear arsenal reportedly had their effect on the way Washington expects a nuclear conflict to unfold.
The new plan no longer relies on a doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) – something that served in the past as a significant deterrent from using nuclear weapons (and something that still does in other countries' doctrines, including Russia). Nowadays, the Pentagon expects some US forces to survive a hypothetical first strike by Russia or another nuclear state, and then subsequently recover, strike back, rinse and repeat until the enemy is defeated or there is no one left alive on Earth to fight. This new approach is being tested during this year's Global Lightning war games.

    Slippery Slope II

    HAF

In the politically charged, polarizing tug-of-war that is the debate over COVID-19, we find ourselves buffeted by fear over a viral pandemic that continues to wreak havoc with lives and the economy, threats of vaccine mandates and financial penalties for noncompliance, and discord over how to legislate the public good without sacrificing individual liberty.

The discord is getting more discordant by the day.

Just recently, for instance, the Salt Lake Tribune Editorial Board suggested that government officials should mandate mass vaccinations and deploy the National Guard “to ensure that people without proof of vaccination would not be allowed, well, anywhere.”

In other words, lock up the unvaccinated and use the military to determine who gets to be “free.”

These tactics have been used before.

This is why significant numbers of people are worried: because this is the slippery slope that starts with well-meaning intentions for the greater good and ends with tyrannical abuses no one should tolerate.

For a glimpse at what the future might look like if such a policy were to be enforced, look beyond America’s borders.

In Italy, the unvaccinated are banned from restaurants, bars and public transportation, and could face suspensions from work and monthly fines. Similarly, France will ban the unvaccinated from most public venues.

In Austria, anyone who has not complied with the vaccine mandate could face fines up to $4100. Police will be authorized to carry out routine checks and demand proof of vaccination, with penalties of as much as $685 for failure to do so.

In China, which has adopted a zero tolerance, “zero COVID” strategy, whole cities—some with populations in the tens of millions—are being forced into home lockdownsfor weeks on end, resulting in mass shortages of food and household supplies. Reports have surfaced of residents “trading cigarettes for cabbage, dishwashing liquid for apples and sanitary pads for a small pile of vegetables. One resident traded a Nintendo Switch console for a packet of instant noodles and two steamed buns.”

For those unfortunate enough to contract COVID-19, China has constructed “quarantine camps” throughout the country: massive complexes boasting thousands of small, metal boxes containing little more than a bed and a toilet. Detainees—including children, pregnant women and the elderly— were reportedly ordered to leave their homes in the middle of the night, transported to the quarantine camps in buses and held in isolation.

If this last scenario sounds chillingly familiar, it should.

Eighty years ago, another authoritarian regime established more than 44,000 quarantine camps for those perceived as “enemies of the state”: racially inferior, politically unacceptable or simply noncompliant.

While the majority of those imprisoned in the Nazi concentration camps, forced labor camps, incarceration sites and ghettos were Jews, there were also Polish nationals, gypsies, Russians, political dissidents, resistance fighters, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and homosexuals.

Culturally, we have become so fixated on the mass murders of Jewish prisoners by the Nazis that we overlook the fact that the purpose of these concentration camps were initially intended to “incarcerate and intimidate the leaders of political, social, and cultural movements that the Nazis perceived to be a threat to the survival of the regime.”

As the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum explains:

“Most prisoners in the early concentration camps were political prisoners — German Communists, Socialists, Social Democrats — as well as Roma (Gypsies), Jehovah’s Witnesses, homosexuals, and persons accused of ‘asocial’ or socially deviant behavior. Many of these sites were called concentration camps. The term concentration camp refers to a camp in which people are detained or confined, usually under harsh conditions and without regard to legal norms of arrest and imprisonment that are acceptable in a constitutional democracy.”

How do you get from there to here, from Auschwitz concentration camps to COVID quarantine centers?

    Connect the dots.

You don’t have to be unvaccinated or a conspiracy theorist or even anti-government to be worried about what lies ahead. You just have to recognize the truth in the warning: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

This is not about COVID-19. Nor is it about politics, populist movements, or any particular country.

This is about what happens when good, generally decent people — distracted by manufactured crises, polarizing politics, and fighting that divides the populace into warring “us vs. them” camps — fail to take note of the looming danger that threatens to wipe freedom from the map and place us all in chains.

It’s about what happens when any government is empowered to adopt a comply-or-suffer-the-consequences mindset that is enforced through mandates, lockdowns, penalties, detention centers, martial law, and a disregard for the rights of the individual.

The slippery slope begins in just this way, with propaganda campaigns about the public good being more important than individual liberty, and it ends with lockdowns and concentration camps.

    The danger signs are everywhere.

Claudio Ronco, a 66-year-old Orthodox Jew and a specialist in 18th-century music, recognizes the signs. Because of his decision to remain unvaccinated, Ronco is trapped inside his house, unable to move about in public without a digital vaccination card. He can no longer board a plane, check into a hotel, eat at a restaurant or get a coffee at a bar. He has been ostracized by friends, shut out of public life, and will soon face monthly fines for insisting on his right to bodily integrity and individual freedom.

For all intents and purposes, Ronco has become an undesirable in the eyes of the government, forced into isolation so he doesn’t risk contaminating the rest of the populace.

This is the slippery slope: a government empowered to restrict movements, limit individual liberty, and isolate “undesirables” to prevent the spread of a disease is a government that has the power to lockdown a country, label whole segments of the population a danger to national security, and force those undesirables — a.k.a. extremists, dissidents, troublemakers, etc. — into isolation so they don’t contaminate the rest of the populace.

The world has been down this road before, too.

Others have ignored the warning signs. We cannot afford to do so.

Did Trudeau Pick the Wrong Fight?

Did Justin Trudeau Pick the Wrong Fight With Canadian Truckers?

It’s not a good sign that Justin Trudeau has removed himself from the public spotlight at possibly the most pivotal point in his political career.

The Canadian Prime Minister, who recently described the trucker convoy as a “small fringe minority” who hold “unacceptable views” against Covid mantes, may have unwittingly unleashed the greatest challenge ever to his political career.

Like those in the medical profession, long-haul truckers dutifully perform their jobs largely behind the scenes, even during the peak of the Covid pandemic. And just like thousands of nurses and doctors – many of whom were exposed to the virus in the line of duty and probably protected by natural immunity – unvaccinated truckers have found themselves out on the street, or rather, out on the highway.

Dubbed the “Freedom Convoy” that began in Vancouver last week, the 18-wheeler movement is expected to reach Ottawa this weekend as thousands of truckers will clog the capitol in protest. The convoy reveals the level of frustration being felt across the country thanks to Justin Trudeau’s draconian vaccine mandates.

Since Jan. 15, unvaccinated truckers entering Canada are required to be tested and quarantined for 15 days; the U.S. mandated similar restrictions on Jan. 22. Naturally such regulations made their job impossible to perform. Thus, the mandates have removed some 20-25% of the estimated 175,000 cross-border American and Canadian truckers due to noncompliance in both countries. But these sidelined workers are not leaving their jobs without a fight, and it seems that many Canadians support the cause.

While mainstream media and social media has largely been able to control the flow of information that Canadians receive with regards to Covid and the vaccination mandates, the trucker convoy has given the public a chance to really express themselves. Judging by early indications it doesn’t look particularly good for the Trudeau administration.

Telegram, the censorship-free messenger application, is chockfull of videos and photographs of overpasses near Toronto loaded with placard-waving supporters as the convoy grinds its way towards Ottawa to the east. Other platforms showed the local residents of small towns handing out meals to the truckers despite the frigid temperatures.

Undoubtedly the most influential advocate of the truckers’ cause thus far has been Elon Musk, who tweeted a three-word message that certainly did not sit well with Justin Trudeau: “Canadian truckers rule.”

Speaking of Trudeau, the 50-year-old leader of the Labor Party announced just this week that he had been “exposed to Covid-19,” and would therefore be isolating at home for five days. That announcement sparked a small riot on social media, with many suggesting that the Canadian leader had used the excuse of Covid to hopefully avoid the truckers.

Keean Bexte, a journalist with Counter Signal, suggested in a tweet that a new variant of “Coward-19” was detected.

“This is, perhaps, the greatest act of cowardice from a sitting Canadian PM in this nation’s history,” Bexte wrote in an accompanying article. “When Canadians finally take a stand, finally take real action, Trudeau merely waves it away, practically flipping them the bird through a single Tweet, ending it with “please get vaccinated” to rub salt in wounds he’s opened.”

    Canadian Truckers vs Great Reset

Canadian Truckers Take Back Country From The Great Reset
    HAF

A convoy of roughly 50,000 truckers and their supporters are piling into Ottawa this weekend to protest Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s jab mandate.

Trudeau’s mandate orders Canadian truckers to get the injection or face a 14-day quarantine every time they cross the US border.

The Freedom Convoy and hundreds of thousands of supporters have surrounded Parliament Hill on Saturday despite below-freezing temps to demand Trudeau lift all draconian COVID restrictions.

The live show feed will be included here, so bookmark this page for updates and tune in to these live streams documenting the Canadian Freedom Convoy in real time.

The historic protest was organized by Canada Unity, and the U.S. anti-mandate group Freedom Fighter Nation has also joined in solidarity.

Dozens of vehicles have already blocked the roads in front of Canada’s Parliament buildings as more protesters continue to stream into the city.

The truckers have stated that they won’t leave Ottawa until all COVID restrictions are lifted, and given Trudeau’s hardline defiance against them, that could take weeks or more.

One leftist masked person brought a sign accusing the trucker march of being “white nationalist”, but a local immediately demolished that weak narrative on video.

“This is not about white. This has nothing to do with truckers. This is about freedom for all of Canadians,” he said. You can be brown, blue, black, whatever color you want to be. This is about freedom. Trudeau has no right to put us in this condition of mandates.”

4.0 Quake Hits San Diego County California

4.0 Earthquake Rattles Parts Of San Diego, Riverside Counties

A 4.0 magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Riverside, San Diego and Orange counties around 9:46 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake's epicenter was identified on the northern end of San Diego County within Palomar Mountain State Park, about 18 miles northeast of Escondido and 17 miles southeast of Temecula, according to USGS.

The quick jolt was felt in Escondido, San Marcos, Carlsbad, Murrieta, Temecula and as far away as San Clemente over in Orange County. Several residents of Southern California reported that the quake triggered a loud, booming sound.

The quake — originally recorded as a 4.1 before being slightly downgraded — had a depth of about 13.7 miles.

No injuries were reported as a result of the quake.

Israeli Airstrikes Said To Hit Targets Near Damascus

Israeli airstrike near Damascus blocked by Syrian air defenses - report

Syrian air defenses intercepted an alleged Israeli missile barrage targeting the vicinity of the capital Damascus, state media said early on Monday citing a military source.

The source was quoted as saying that the interception resulted in some material damage.

The missiles were launched from the direction of Riyaq, a Lebanese town east of Beirut, according to the Syrian SANA news agency.

Israeli officials were not immediately available for comment.

Last month, an alleged Israeli airstrike targeted Latakia's commercial port in northwestern Syria, in what was the third alleged airstrike in December.

Israel's alleged airstrikes came hours after a Houthi ballistic missile targeting Abu Dhabi was intercepted by the United Arab Emirates' air defenses.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog is currently in the UAE conducting an official visit. The president was updated about the incident and he and his entourage are safe, as the visit is expected to continue as planned.

Israeli jets carried out airstrikes against targets near the Syrian capital of Damascus early Monday morning, Syrian state TV reported.

The alleged strikes are the first since Russia announced last week it was carrying out joint military jet patrols of the airspace along Syria’s borders, including in the Golan Heights area.

The TV report said Syria had activated its air defenses and intercepted several of the incoming missiles, but noted that the strikes had caused some “material damage.” There were no immediate reports of casualties

Syria routinely claims to shoot down Israeli missiles. Syrian war analysts generally believe that such claims — heard after nearly every Israeli airstrike — are false, empty boasts.

Reports said the missiles were fired from the direction of neighboring Lebanon. The targets of the strikes were not immediately clear.

LAWRENCE SELLIN: A New Human-Infecting Coronavirus Deadlier than COVID-19?

China caused the COVID-19 pandemic by artificially manipulating the structure of a natural bat coronavirus to make it infectious to humans.

Now repeating that process with a far deadlier coronavirus?

There was much concern expressed in the international media recently about a potentially more transmissible and more lethal coronavirus called “NeoCoV,” described in a January 25, 2022, scientific article published by Chinese scientists from Wuhan University.

NeoCoV is a member of a group of coronaviruses, one of which caused the 2012 Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) outbreak that killed 34% of the approximately 2,500 people it infected.

According to the Chinese authors, NeoCoV binds, not just to the bat DPP4 receptor found in most MERS coronaviruses, but also weakly binds to ACE2, which is the human receptor for the highly transmissible COVID-19 virus.

The Chinese scientists, at least one of which, Xiangxi Wang, has extensive links to China’s People’s Liberation Army, then proceeded to genetically engineer NeoCoV to increase its ability to infect humans.

Like the laboratory creation of COVID-19, Chinese scientists have again taken a coronavirus found in nature and artificially manipulated its structure to infect humans, but now with a virus capable of producing a 34% lethality rate compared to 1.6% for COVID-19.

NeoCoV is not a “new” virus, but was found in 2011 in Africa, and, therefore, is not an emerging disease threat to China.

It is becoming evident that China uses the threat of emerging viral diseases as a cover for its biowarfare program.

China appears to be using the same methodology for NeoCoV as was used in the laboratory creation of COVID-19.

From the beginning, COVID-19 appeared to be well-adapted, even “pre-adapted” for binding to human cells because it did not undergo the same mutation and adaptation to humans over time as did the SARS virus from the 2002-2004 pandemic.  From the beginning, COVID-19 resembled a late-stage SARS-infection.

COVID-19 also binds to human cells 15-times better than the 2002-2004 SARS virus, which, unlike COVID-19, is believed to be a natural animal to human disease transmission.

What is far more disturbing and indicative of bioweapon development is the recent (January 2021) interest being shown by Chinese scientists in NeoCoV’s furin cleavage site

Even without speculation, the information contained in the recently published Chinese NeoCoV article alone should be setting off alarm bells in the U.S. government and in the scientific community worldwide.
