President Vladimir Putin said today that Russia will do everything to avoid a clash of world powers but will not allow anyone to threaten it, in a speech marking the anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in World War II. War.

After calling for a minute's silence, Putin ended his speech with the following words:

"For Russia! For the win! Ask!" signaling thousands of soldiers to respond with three loud cheers.
