warnews247

Ukrenergo has declared a state of emergency in Ukraine following today's geographically widespread bombing of energy facilities across the country. Russia launched at least 72 missiles, plunging Kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities into darkness.

The images recorded in the country are tragic. Hundreds of citizens cut wood to keep warm, they even use the...benches.

The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Galushchenko, emphasized that "electricity facilities were destroyed in the east and south of the state.

Russia fired 72 missiles into Ukraine in one hour.

Energy consumption was reduced by over 50%”.

According to the Ukrainians, the substation of the Dnepropetrovsk hydroelectric plant, the CHP station in Kharkiv and the Krivorozhskaya TPP, which is the most powerful solid fuel power station in Europe, were hit.

The situation in Ukraine at the moment:

▪️ Kherson, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Kirovograd, Kyiv and Cherkassy are in the dark.

▪️ Railways are out of service in Kharkiv, Kirovograd, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

▪️ Emergency power outage in Odesa, Zaporozhye, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Poltava regions.

▪️ Breaks in heating and water supply in Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Kyiv.

The head of Zaporizhzhya administration, Starukh, emphasized that "the area was hit with 15 missiles".

According to information, Tu-95 strategic bombers took part in the attack while missiles were launched from the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and from the North.

Tu-95 bombers fired X-101 missiles into Ukraine from Volgodonsk.

Finally, Geran 2 kamikaze drones hit targets across the country.

Ukraine's energy grid management company has announced that it will take longer to restore the national grid and power supply compared to previous Russian missile attacks.

After Russia launched more than 70 missiles against Ukraine today, the network operator said:

"Considering that this is already the ninth wave of missile attacks against energy facilities, the restoration of energy supply may take longer than before."

"Priority will be given to critical infrastructure facilities: hospitals, water supply infrastructure, heating infrastructure and sewage treatment plants," according to the announcement.

Today's new mass missile attack by Russia caused new disasters in the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, resulting in entire cities, such as Kyiv and Kharkiv, being left without electricity and water.

Explosions were reported in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Vinnitsa and many other areas of central and eastern Ukraine, while air defense sirens had sounded earlier in most of the country.

The consequence of this new mass attack, as a senior official from the presidency of Ukraine claims, is that emergency power outages will follow throughout the country.
