Interfax is reporting that Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev asked his US counterpart Jake Sullivan in a Wednesday phone call to stop the US and Western supply of weapons going to Ukraine's military.
This after for many days now the Kremlin has put NATO countries on notice, saying that any inbound military shipment from external allies of Kiev will be deemed a "legitimate target". The call also focused on pushing for a ceasefire after a lot of prior back-and-forth over the potential for a concrete ceasefire plan based on Ukraine's neutrality regarding the NATO question.
"Mr. Sullivan clearly laid out the United States' commitment to continue imposing costs on Russia, to support the defense of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and to reinforce NATO's eastern flank, in continued full coordination with our Allies and partners," the White House said in a statement.
So far these "costs" have remained in the realm of sanctions and international isolation. The call was tense, given also that Sullivan warned his Russian counterpart against deployment of any chemical weapons - though it's unclear why the US thinks Russia's military is readying this as an option:

Sullivan spoke with Patrushev in a phone call Wednesday, according to the White House. Sullivan also said Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and towns should stop if Russia is "serious about diplomacy."
Biden on Tuesday signed a spending bill which allocates billions more in funding weapons and defense and humanitarian assistance for Ukraine.

On Wednesday morning President Zelensky made a case before Congress in a virtual address for a West-backed No Fly Zone. He also urged that the US give Kiev more "powerful aircraft" - as well additional weapons to stave off the Russian attack.

Problems lie in crisis after crisis created by head figures that won't tell truths to the masses but keep folks chasing their tails while created diversions leads to their Agenda's they try to implement, again, IMO!
The populace concerns will dissipate when toppled head figures, that make bad choices on behalf of their citizen's, are out of decision making positions IMO! Till then, pray, and seek answers. Listen, if hear from Putin as to why now, what are his objectives, and follow the money from USA to Ukraine, and Europe to Ukraine, then ask why again? Soon, the next question would be, why can't grown men sit down and put all on the table as to how everyone can feel less threaten, International laws broken are ceased/agreed upon, and come to an agreement that avoids collateral damage due to action while they were not thinking about long-term results?
Meanwhile IMO, USA needs tap into OUR oil, our food productions, our soil, our resources in general, have our National Security beefed up (for real), and borders shut while there are any concerns with terrorist's coming to attack or sent more germ-warfare through contaminated people possibilities; Makes perfect sense to be safe than risk further crisis after crisis drama queen style IMO! If they say possibilities exist for war, biological attacks, etc., they push this mantra, then ask yourself, what sane Nation would do anything but be 100% PROACTIVE, yes??? Oh, the one claiming a Pandemic yet allowing millions unchecked folks in?? Oops, who wanted it both ways is trying again, choke off resources, stroke war, and promote fear? Nah, reality won't allow stupidity to reign, will it?
Now if we keep hearing whining from head-figures, and no proactive measures implemented, then we know, we are dealing with various Agenda's that don't have this Nations well-being in any of their equations, it's all about them, right? Insanity are those doing the same thing over and over again, so will this wake everyone up? If not, stupid is as stupid does will crop up yet again from the buffoons grandeur's of delusion actions while seeking/chasing dreams of controlling that which never will be allowed long-term,IMO!
Life is easy, man makes it hard and this is what is going on, you don't promote War while CHOKING off sustaining your own backyard meanwhile, IMO! Common-sense, critical thinking, logical reasoning, simulations that matter, actions toward solutions rather than fear propaganda Hitler style, is what to look for IMO! Otherwise it's all yet another con job tried for excuses to ruffle American's feathers while they do what covers their own butts that contributed to all taking place, IMO! Either way, none of this should have become a reality, now it's put up or shut up time for good or bad stemming from stupidity at the end of the day, in my humble opinion! Pray OIL/FOOD prices decline, borders shut, life goes on.....we know reality is, this better happen! American's will manifest this reality this round predict, enough is enough from lies, and there are plenty of resources awaiting mankind!
We are in the middle of a chess game played by goof-balls that each thinks at the end of this game waits a pot of gold, neither will get the gold, it will be missing while they were consumed by thinking the wrong way, IMO! They are turning on each other, even after all the deals made, did someone not keep their end of the deals, plausible? It's a Movie we are trying to figure out the end of, and it's a long movie so most people will shut it off, maybe watch the end...later, or not?
