With every passing day we draw closer and closer to the wars that we know are coming:
While the US, France, Russia, China, and the United Kingdom are engaged in talks with Iran over Iran's nuclear program, the Washington Examiner has reported that a translation of a secret Iranian military handbook confirms the Iranian military brass supports a nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) explosion over American soil that would severely cripple the US electrical grid. This is raising new concerns among American defense experts regarding Iran's nuclear talks with the Obama administration. In an article for Arutz Sheva, US authority Dr. Peter Vincent Pry warned of the threat of Iran to free nations.
Iran has orbited four satellites, some weighing over one ton, demonstrating it can deliver a nuclear weapon anywhere. Iran has been secretly working on nuclear weapons for over twenty (20) years.
Nuclear weapons can be developed clandestinely, and quickly, without testing – as the US knows from its own experience during World War II. In three (3) years, the Manhattan project developed two atomic bombs of different design, one of which was employed without testing. Hiroshima was the test.
Nor do sophisticated nuclear weapons require testing.
According to the Washington Examiner:
A knowledgeable source said the textbook discusses an EMP attack on America in 20 different places.
Arizona Republican Rep. Trent Franks, who is leading an effort to protect the US electric grid from an EMP attack, has recently made similar claims based on the document translated by military authorities.
Once sneered at by critics, recent moves by Iran and North Korea have given credibility to the potential EMP threat from an atmospheric nuclear explosion over the US.
Pry has suggested ways for Iran to deliver a nuclear attack: by ship launched off the East coast, a missile or via satellite.
Did not reports in the news confirm that Iran had missiles capable of a 2500 km range reaching ships in the Persian Gulf and threaten some Mediterranean countries? And, did not Iran, just last month, use a mock-up of a US aircraft carrier in a military drill in which that replica was destroyed? On both accounts, yes.
Iran's military leader has announced he was "ready for war with the US." Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff General Hassan Firouzabadi stated to Iran's Fars News Agency last year, "We are ready for the decisive battle against the US and the Zionist regime."
Pry wrote, "Nuclear Iran looks like nuclear North Korea all over again."
During the Clinton administration's eight years of negotiating the "Agreed Framework" to persuade North Korea to give up on nuclear weapons, the congressional North Korea Advisory Group on which I served warned repeatedly that North Korea was cheating all through the negotiations. In fact, North Korea built its first nuclear weapons by or before January 1994, conducted its first nuclear test in 2006 (for which the Clintonistas dishonestly tried shifting blame to President George W. Bush for North Korea getting nuclear weapons), and threatened nuclear missile strikes against the US, South Korea and Japan in 2013
Wendy Sherman and Gary Samore, the same Clinton Administration negotiating team that was fooled by nuclear-armed North Korea, have been negotiating for the Obama administration with Iran. Gary Samore left the Obama administration for Harvard University in 2013 to train a new generation of diplomats.
North Korea and Iran are strategic partners and cooperate on missile and nuclear programs. Iran is most certainly following North Korea's example – using nuclear negotiations to cheat and stall for time to build enough nuclear weapons and nuclear infrastructure so these facts become irreversible.
These are the same sentiments that have been uttered by many in conservative, alternate news media circles for some time now. Not only is Iran cheating, Iran has no intention of honoring any deal because of its deep Islamic roots where taqiyya is justified to infidels. It's no wonder those involved in the negotiations can't see this as they operate more like the Keystone Cops and cannot recognize Islam as the problem.
Even Pry contends that nuclear deterrence will not work against Iran, as the threat of mutually assured destruction (MAD) worked in the cold war era with the Soviet Union. Islam cares not how many of their people are destroyed. In fact, it is expected for every Muslim to wage jihad and death doing so is a sure way to enter "paradise." Iran has no moral code to refrain from using nuclear weapons due to MAD since it has a strict Islamic government run by Mullahs and Imams, provides safe harbor to terrorists and backs terrorist organizations.
With a nuclear weapon, all Iran has to do is threaten western governments with launch, including the US, and leaders will capitulate so quickly one would think someone cut them off at the knees.
The similarities have already been observed by Pry in the historic Clinton negotiations with North Korea. Congress has been neutered. Obama, his administration and ilk are traitors, working from within to destroy the US. Iran has threatened the US and Israel with war.
It is apparent those in the US government have not learned history regarding World War II, Hitler, Nazi Germany and the Clinton deal with North Korea.
Russia is developing a long-range cruise missile that poses a new threat to the United States, the commander of the U.S. Northern Command warned this week.
“Russia is progressing toward its goal of deploying long-range, conventionally-armed cruise missiles with ever increasing stand-off launch distances on its heavy bombers, submarines, and surface combatants, augmenting the Kremlin’s toolkit of flexible deterrent options short of the nuclear threshold,” Adm. William Gortney, Northcom chief who heads the U.S.-Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said Thursday.
“Should these trends continue, over time NORAD will face increased risk in our ability to defend North America against Russian cruise missile threats,” he said in prepared testimony to the House Armed Services subcommittee on strategic forces.
A defense official said the missile that concerns the Northcom commander is the Russian KH-101 cruise missile which Russia has developed as a weapon to attack critical infrastructure in the United States, such as the electrical grid.
Cruise missiles pose unique threats because they can defeat defenses by flying at low altitudes, avoiding radars, and hiding behind terrain. Some newer cruise missiles have radar-evading stealth features making them even less visible to radar or infrared detectors.
The low-flying missiles also can overwhelm defenses by attacking with multiple missiles coming from different directions and defeating air defenses at their weakest points. They also can fly circuitous routes to reach targets, avoiding radar and air defenses.
Testimony by Gortney and other senior officials at the hearing raised concerns that growing missile capabilities could overwhelm U.S. defenses.
Kiev has once again seriously violated the Minsk agreements as the claims by Ukrainian authorities that all the heavy weapons have been withdrawn from the contact line in Donbass are proving to be incorrect, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Saturday.
"Reuters agency journalists shot a video showing heavy weaponry of Ukrainian army by the line of contact at Ukraine's southeast," the ministry said in a statement.
"The Russian Foreign Ministry has to emphasize that we are speaking of another serious violation of Minsk agreements that stipulate the withdrawal of heavy weaponry from the contact line… The claims of Ukrainian authorities that all of its heavy weapons have been withdrawn are once again proving to be bluff," the ministry added.
The withdrawal of heavy weaponry from the contact line between the Kiev forces and the independence supporters of Donbas was one of the key points of the agreement signed between Kiev forces and independence supporters in February in Minsk.
While Washington works assiduously to undermine the Minsk agreement that German chancellor Merkel and French president Hollande achieved in order to halt the military conflict in Ukraine, Washington has sent Victoria Nuland to Armenia to organize a “color revolution” or coup there, has sent Richard Miles as ambassador to Kyrgyzstan to do the same there, and has sent Pamela Spratlen as ambassador to Uzbekistan to purchase that government’s allegiance away from Russia. The result would be to break up the Collective Security Treaty Organization and present Russia and China with destabilization where they can least afford it. Thus, Russia faces the renewal of conflict in Ukraine simultaneously with three more Ukraine-type situations along its Asian border.
And this is only the beginning of the pressure that Washington is mounting on Russia.
On March 18 the Secretary General of NATO denounced the peace settlement between Russia and Georgia that ended Georgia’s military assault on South Ossetia. The NATO Secretary General said that NATO rejects the settlement because it “hampers ongoing efforts by the international community to strengthen security and stability in the region.” Look closely at this statement. It defines the “international community” as Washington’s NATO puppet states, and it defines strengthening security and stability as removing buffers between Russia and Georgia so that Washington can position military bases in Georgia directly on Russia’s border.
In Poland and the Baltic states Washington and NATO lies about a pending Russian invasion are being used to justify provocative war games on Russia’s borders and to build up US forces in NATO military bases on Russia’s borders.
The EU leadership has agreed to launch a propaganda war against Russia, broadcasting Washington’s lies inside Russia in an effort to undermine the Russian people’s support of their government.
All of this is being done in order to coerce Russia into handing over Crimea and its Black Sea naval base to Washington and accepting vassalage under Washington’s suzerainty.
European governments, apparently, are incapable of any thought. Washington has set London and the capitals of every European country, as well as every American city, for destruction by Russian nuclear weapons. The stupid Europeans rush to destroy themselves in service to their Washington master.
We know that the American, British, and European media are whores well paid to lie for their master. We know that the NATO commander and secretary general, if not the member countries, are lusting for war.
Despite being quick to condemn Russian military manoeuvers, NATO is conducting wide-scale war games in the Baltic states and creating a “line of troops” across Eastern Europe. The US denies a double standard, but records and transcripts suggest otherwise.
Thousands of US troops and hundreds of tanks have poured into Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in the past two months as part of an operation dubbed “Atlantic Resolve.” In February, 140 NATO vehicles and 1400 troops swept through Narva, a mere 300 meters from the Russian border.
“As you connect countries, there is almost a line of US troops,” Defense News quoted Col. Michael Foster of the 173rd Airborne Brigade on March 2 as saying. US forces have previously held joint war games with Baltic nations, with names such as “Saber Strike,” “Spring Storm” and “Flaming Sword.”
“Wouldn’t US and NATO maneuvers on Russian borders, at a time when the West and Russia are at odds over the crisis in Ukraine, also “raise tensions?” asked AP diplomatic correspondent Matt Lee.
“We would disagree with that,” replied Rathke.
Some, however, found the assertion unconvincing.
“It’s a shocking level of hypocrisy, double standards, doublespeak,” Brian Becker of the ANSWER coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) told RT.
Russia announced a massive surprise military drill earlier this week, putting forces all over the country on high alert and conducting exercises in the Baltic Sea, Black Sea, the Arctic and the Far East. The ongoing snap check of the military involves about 76,000 troops, over 10,000 vehicles, 65 warships, 16 support vessels, 15 submarines, 200 warplanes and helicopters.
