Van Rompuy: EU should take credit for Libya action
EU Council President Herman Van Rompuy has said the Union should take credit for international action...in Libya...
Interesting. So the revived Roman Empire is admitting to being the ultimate decision maker behind this mysterious and still ill-defined "mission" in Libya. This is a very big development in the overall prophetic progress of the EU.

Its interesting that he would want to claim ownership of this mess, but that is clearly what he is doing. Now he makes the most interesting comments:
The Lisbon Treaty says: "The common security and defence policy shall be an integral part of the common foreign and security policy. It shall provide the Union with an operational capacity drawing on civilian and military assets. The Union may use them on missions outside the Union for peace-keeping, conflict prevention and strengthening international security."
So we see this comment again where he is describing the use of "military assets" for "peace-keeping", "conflict prevention" and "strengthening international security". This sounds a LOT like the scenario which will be proposed for Israel this September. Recall, we have been waiting for a figure from the EU (not Rompuy) to propose that the EU could "confirm" an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal with the use of such military forces.
We haven't seen much regarding the EU's European External Action Service (EEAS) lately, but below is an interesting view and reminds us of the progress that the EU is making towards its overall development and ultimately its transformation into the 10 kings phase:
What will come of the EEAS blueprint?
With the ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon, the hopes and fears of euro-skeptics and enthusiasts were stirred. The treaty’s objective of creating an independent and coherent EU foreign policy presence is – on paper, at least – just around the corner.
The Treaty of Lisbon has provided the EU with its own diplomatic corps, the European External Action Service (EEAS), which is to support EU’s “secretary of state” the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Baroness Catherine Ashton
Determining the exact composition and scope of the EEAS has been the cause of considerable disagreement.
And this is where things get very interesting (at least for a prophecy watcher):
The biggest sticking point of Ashton’s proposal is that the day to day running of the service is to be lead by a secretary-general.
This structure has been criticized by members of the European Parliament (MEP) who say the EEAS will be managed by an omnipotent secretary general “lurking like a spider in the middle of his web”, as stated by conservative German EP member Elmar Brok.
So, the group which sends in troops to regions for the purpose of using military assets for peace-keeping will be run by an "omnipotent" secretary-general - a position which is described as "lurking like a spider in the middle of his web".
Seriously?
You just can't make this stuff up. I don't even need to connect these dots as the story jumps off the page. Needless to say, this is exactly the kind of position one would expect to see formed at some point in the EU's development - and its already here. We know that a future individual will come along and propose a way to "confirm" the covenant with "the many" (Daniel 9:27), at which point the Tribulation is officially underway.
Of course no one can know for sure how such an individual will arise, but for now, this position of secretary-general is very very interesting and will most definitely get this watcher's attention. we have already seen the appointment of Pierre Vimont as Executive Secretary-General of the EEAS and it is unclear if a position under this, which would simply be Secretary-General is in the works, or if Mr Vimont holds the position in question for now.

No one is suggesting that this position identifies the future antichrist - not by any means. However, the various positions that are created within the newly formed EEAS are of great interest, and this is certainly one of them.
However, if I see an individual begin to make tangible, specific proposals on how the EU can participate in the overall peace deal in the Middle East - a peace plan that we know is coming for Israel and the formation of a "Palestinian State" - by offering EU (EEAS) troops on the ground in the border regions for "peace-keeping", then I will be VERY interested in that particular individual.
Of course, the basic, working assumption is that we'll be long gone by the time this scenario unfolds, but we could be here to see the early discussions taking place - prior to the final deal being "confirmed" - therefore its worth watching closely. If we do see such developments taking place, then start packing the bags and looking up for the return of our Lord and Savior.

Dan7:8,9 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
It is the ‘little horn’ you are describing in Dan 7:9. So until the 10 kings are actually ruling, the ‘little horn’ remains invisible to human eyes. He is antichrist, son of Satan, whom God will reveal AFTER the DEPARTURE and the Holy Spirit ends His ministry of restraining evil in 2Thess2:3,7,8. and AFTER Jesus breaks the first seal in Rev.6:1 to begin the 7 year Tribulation. AFTER he has confirmed a seven year covenant with Israel Dan9:27. Jesus gave us the facts and warned ‘see that no man deceive you’. Matt24:4.
This is a PreTrib blog that states there are NO prophetic requirement’s for the imminent Rapture to happen. Neither Scott, or his blog, are looking for the antichrist – instead we are looking for Jesus.

You make a very good point that is worth emphasizing - the AC won't be present until the 10 kings phase appears, as he will come from these 10 kings.
I believe these events will occur in rapid succession - from the ME wars, to the formation of the 10 kings, to the "confirming of the covenant" -- these events will (IMO) fall like dominoes.
I believe the only prophetic development which is lagging a little behind right now, is the formation of the 10 kings.
Having said that - because of the rapid development of the other signs, I fully expect to see some movement on the 10 kings phase very soon.
We shall see.
Having said that - we <> begin to see some "early" movements by the future AC (of course, we would have no definitive basis to believe that such an individual would be destined for the AC role) - IOW, we could begin to see an individual discussing the use of EEAS to maintain border control in and around Israel before it actually happens.
For instance - I could envision a scenario in which an EU leader begins laying the groundwork for the use of EU forces in Israel (and a "PA State") - and even detailing how such "peace-keeping forces" could be used to broker the peace deal, before it actually occurs.
In fact, on further thought - is it possible that the formation of the 10 Kings could somehow be part of this peace plan? (a crazy thought, but I'm trying to look at all possibilities here)....

I am certain that there will be a rapid, even simultaneous unfolding of these prophecies. Like a Circus; the show begins when the ringmaster cracks his whip, then emerges a cavalcade of acts, the trapeze artistes, the clowns, the jugglers, horses, the strongman, elephants... its hard to know where to look.
Looking to the left, we hear the crowd roar from the right, looking in that direction, we miss something else but just in time we see another event...
Mustn't forget that it is all at the behest of the Ringmaster. Jesus is the one behind each and every reveal - until He makes that final decision, we can never be sure of what, when or who. A/c isn't called the 'deceiver' for nothing.
