Earthquakes

Of course the news of the say was the magnitude 6.7 quake in Mexico:

Magnitude 6.7 earthquake hits northern Mexico

A powerful earthquake struck offshore in Mexico's Gulf of California on Thursday, causing people to flee into the streets in the western state of Sinaloa, but there were no reports of damage or injury.

The U.S. Geological Survey initially reported the magnitude of the quake as 6.9, but later in the day revised it to 6.7. It hit at 11:53 a.m. (1:53 p.m. EDT, 1753 GMT).

The same region was hit by three moderately powerful earthquakes ranging in magnitude from 5.5 to 5.8 Tuesday night and early Wednesday, but they caused no known damage.

Its always a good idea to check out the Worldwide Earthquake Map and today it looks very active. There were several large quakes in Chile, Philippines, Fiji Islands, and surrounding regions. Maybe earthquakes are about to make their presence known again. We'll see.

scott, you wrote "perhaps earthquakes will make their presence known again, we`ll see" well....what do you think of this possibility: earthquakes make their presence known AFTER the elections in the U.S. its believed that after the elections obamanation will really step up and bully and strong arm isreal to divide the land. as a result the Lord will divide the U.S. bothe politically with a civil war and LITERALLY with a major quake int arkansas or oklahoma.

the above comment, tho a very unlikely senerio has at least occurred to me a few times.

I don't know Hart - but Genesis 12 never leaves my mind...I am hoping that the conservative tilt to congress, following the elections, will make it more difficult for the administration to diss Israel...We'll see.

....i dont know either. can congress affect the policies toward isreal or is that soley the presidents (tho he`s not my president) call? anyway, as i said it`s (the earthquake dividing the country...) a very unlikely senerio.
