Global Finance

Once again, we see a powerful world leader calling for a "revolution" as far as world finance and that "all regulation concerning banks should be dealt with at an international level, coordinated by the G-20."

In this article, "Sarkozy Calls For a Global Monetary System", French President Nicolas Sarcozy added that the dollar should no longer be the primary reserve currency in the global economy.

"In an expansive and lofty speech to the business and political leaders gathered here at the annual World Economic Forum, Mr. Sarkozy also called for a “revolution” in international regulation that would make labor, health and environmental standards as enforceable as trade rule."

"During its 2011 presidency of the Group of 8 — the leading Western industrial powers plus Russia — and the wider G-20, which includes several important developing nations, France “will put the reform of the international monetary system on the agenda,” Mr. Sarkozy said"

"Calling the current crisis a “crisis of globalization itself,” he urged broad coordination of regulation and accounting rules."

The drumbeat continues. Almost weekly, we hear an international leader calling for an international financial system, in which all decisions are made on an international basis, with oversight by a small representative group. That "group" will ultimately shrink to two individuals, the antichrist and the false prophet. Under their direction, the world will indeed have its "international" system of finance with a single currency. The only problem will be that found in Revelation 13 - in order to participate (ie, in order to "buy and sell") every individual will have to pledge allegiance to the antichrist and, in turn, receive the "mark of the beast".

By taking this mark, the individual will have formally decided to reject Christ in favor of "accepting" the antichrist. This is made clear in the following passage:

"If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives the mark on the forehead or on the hand, he too will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."
(Revelation 14:9-12)

We watch, during our remaining time on earth, all preparations being made for the arrival of the antichrist and the beginning of the Tribulation. Discussions and calls for a world financial system and a global currency are gaining momentum. Just like all of the other signs that we have been given prophetically.

Like all of these other signs - signs that we watch daily - this global financial system movement also continues to march along towards the Tribulation. Its getting closer and closer by the day. And that should give us paulse and reflection, because it also means that the gathering up of the church is also coming - and coming soon.
