Club for the Destruction of Humanity
By Tom Gilbreath

In the December 27th addition of The Telegraph, a headline read, “‘Godfather of AI’ says it could drive humans extinct in 10 years.” These are not the words of some nut walking around Times Square with a sandwich sign hung over his body warning, “The End is Near.” This alarm comes from Geoffrey Hinton, winner of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics.

And yet, we are not shocked. We’ve heard these kinds of warnings about Artificial Intelligence for years — though perhaps not from so respected a source, nor one giving such a brief time frame for our demise. Still, it’s just one more voice shouting, “The End is Near.” When a Nobel Prize winning computer scientist warns of possible human extinction in 10 years, we shrug our shoulders and go on. An extinction level event? What’s one more?

The sub headline read, “Prof Geoffrey Hinton says the technology is developing faster than he expected and needs government regulation.” And there it is — the universal panacea — government regulation. But can government really regulate something it cannot define? Artificial Intelligence and machine learning are vague terms that apply, to a greater or lesser degree, to millions of projects going on around the world. If a government tries to define and regulate AI, its makers will simply re-label their products, or will take their development to other jurisdictions where regulations are less severe.

AI is just one member of the club for the destruction of humanity. In 2024, the possibility of World War III seemed more real than it had in decades. Threats came from the war in Europe and the war in the Middle East.

The death drums of climate change continued their incessant rhythm in 2024. In a world where extreme weather events take place every year and always have, each such event now carries with it the warning of impending doom. According to NPR, “Scientists say this year is almost certain to take over the top spot as the hottest year.” [“2023 was extremely hot. Then came 2024” by Lauren Sommer, NPR, December 24, 2024.] The article neglects to say that “hottest year” calculations contain so many guesses that, should they so choose, climate scientists can make any year the hottest ever by adjusting those guesses.

Other extinction level events threaten earth, things like coronal mass ejections from the sun, geomagnetic reversals, meteor or asteroid impacts, and volcanic eruptions. Many scientists believe there have been five mass extinction events in earth’s history. The Bible tells us about only one — a global flood, ending with God’s promise that no such flood will happen again.

Experts on almost all problems tell us that the answer is more government, bigger government, and global government. We are trained to think this way. If there is a problem, a faraway, centralized government can fix it. Activists focus their efforts on increasing government regulation and on acquiring more government subsidies. The utter failure of the most intrusive governments would seem to prove the premise wrong. But it is taught as a matter of course.

One day, leaders will turn to a government led by Antichrist as the ultimate panacea for all that ills humanity. The medicine will finally kill the patient. The answer is not government. The answer is God. We will not find an answer in greater restrictions on human enterprise and ingenuity, but in the freedom which springs from wide adherence to a biblical moral code.

Soros: A Global Strategy Of Chaos

George Soros Funds Chaos: $50 Million to Pro-Iran Groups

Amy Mek

America, a nation built on resilience and freedom, finds itself under threat—not just from external enemies but from the calculated manipulations of figures within its own borders. George Soros, the billionaire often celebrated in left-leaning circles as a philanthropist, has funneled tens of millions of dollars into organizations and initiatives that bolster one of the nation’s most dangerous adversaries: Iran. This is not philanthropy; it is treachery masquerading as charity, funneling millions to America’s sworn enemies.

According to an explosive investigation by the New York Post, Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) transferred $46.7 million to the International Crisis Group (ICG), a think tank with deep ties to the Iranian regime.

This group has pushed for policies favorable to Tehran, including easing sanctions and reviving a nuclear deal that critics argue only delays Iran’s ambitions for nuclear weaponry. Under the Biden administration, these efforts have borne fruit, with sanctions being relaxed and billions in frozen Iranian funds released.

The ties between the ICG and the Iranian regime run disturbingly deep. Ali Vaez, one of Malley’s protégés and the ICG’s director of Iran projects, reportedly submitted writings to Iranian officials for pre-publication review—an alarming connection between an American-based think tank and Tehran. Vaez even had five meetings with top Biden national security officials at the White House, signaling unprecedented influence at the highest levels.

The influence of Soros-backed organizations extends disturbingly deep into the corridors of power.

Robert Malley, a former U.S. special envoy to Iran now under FBI investigation for mishandling classified documents, was once the president of ICG. His protégés, such as Ariane Tabatabai, Ali Vaez, and Dina Esfandiary, have taken up influential positions in U.S. policymaking circles, with Tabatabai even securing a high-security clearance role at the Pentagon. These individuals are linked to the Iran Experts Initiative, a covert network reportedly established by Tehran’s Foreign Ministry to infiltrate and manipulate U.S. policy.

The Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, a think tank that received $1.8 million from Soros’ OSF, has actively lobbied for policies favorable to Tehran. Founded by Trita Parsi—accused of advocating for the Iranian regime—it promotes its agenda under the guise of promoting “restraint” in U.S. foreign policy.

George Soros’ involvement in destabilizing American interests is not limited to Iran. His OSF has also directed over $15 million to groups in the U.S. that support antisemitic, anti-Israel protests, including rallies that glorify Hamas.

These funds, often funneled through intermediaries like the Ploughshares Fund and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, serve to erode the moral and strategic foundations of American foreign policy.

Gabriel Noronha of the Polaris National Security think tank succinctly described the impact of Soros’ funding: “The things they routinely fund are things that weaken America, both internally and externally.”

A Global Strategy of Chaos

The reach of Soros and his son Alexander, who now spearheads many of OSF’s initiatives, extends far beyond the United States. Together, they have cultivated a network of influence that keeps geopolitical conflicts simmering from Eastern Europe to the Middle East. Despite this, they are feted by global elites, enjoying access to high-ranking officials and institutions. Soros has even been honored with prestigious awards, such as Austria’s Grand Decoration of Honour in Gold.

Critics have noted that these actions mirror a deliberate strategy of weakening America’s global standing while empowering adversarial regimes. Masih Alinejad, a prominent Iranian dissident, compared groups like NIAC and the Quincy Institute to “the Russia Today of the Iranian Regime,” accusing them of serving as mouthpieces for Tehran’s propaganda machine.

George Soros and his network represent more than a political adversary; they are an existential threat to America’s sovereignty and security. By funding organizations that downplay Iran’s human rights abuses and promote propaganda aligned with Tehran’s objectives, Soros undermines the very principles that make America strong. His actions demand not just scrutiny but decisive countermeasures.

America must wake up to the reality of the enemy within. The question is no longer whether Soros and his network are working against U.S. interests—it is how much longer they will be allowed to continue.

Terry James: Foreshadowing Future Fearfulness

Foreshadowing Future Fearfulness
Terry James

It has been said, and proven, that life often imitates art. Seems to me this might have been the case, at least to an extent, in the matter of the mysterious drone invasion, if that is the proper term for the sightings that have so held the attention in recent days–and particularly, the attention of so many during the nights…

I heard mention Lakehurst, New Jersey in conjunction with some of the most prolific sightings of the drones that suddenly began appearing in the New Jersey-New York area a week or two ago.

A real-life horror story took place in that very place in 1937, when the German dirigible, the Hindenburg, was ignited when contacting its mooring tower and collapsed in a fiery crash, killing some and injuring many more. Then, a year later, much of the nation became panicked when H. G. Wells’ novel was adapted as a radio program and narrated by Orson Welles. Again it was New Jersey that Wells placed the fictional invasion of invading forces from Mars.

The October 30, 1938, Halloween radio play was broadcast on CBS as a series of realistic-sounding news bulletins that reported the fictional invasion. Only the public didn’t understand it as fiction. The public quickly became panicked, thinking Martians were about to take over.

Since that time, programming has been governed to prevent a repeat of such fearful confusion.

Reports about the strange drones didn’t quite reach the level of panic that War of the Worlds set off, but the fear in some cases was considerable and remains somewhat concerning.

[New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy] urged Congress to give states more authority to deal with the drones.

Meanwhile, the FBI and New Jersey state police warned against pointing lasers at suspected drones, because aircraft pilots are being hit in the eyes more often. Authorities also said they are concerned people might fire weapons at manned aircraft that they have mistaken for drones.

But do the drones pose a threat?

The growing anxiety among some residents is not lost on the Biden administration, which has faced criticism from Trump for not dealing with the matter more aggressively.

White House national security spokesperson John Kirby said Monday that the federal government has yet to identify any public safety or national security risks.

“There are more than 1 million drones that are lawfully registered with the Federal Aviation Administration here in the United States,” Kirby said. “And there are thousands of commercial, hobbyist and law enforcement drones that are lawfully in the sky on any given day. That is the ecosystem that we are dealing with.”

The federal government has deployed personnel and advanced technology to investigate the reports in New Jersey and other states, and is evaluating each tip reported by citizens, he said.

About 100 of the more than 5,000 drone sightings reported to the FBI in recent weeks were deemed credible enough to warrant more investigation, according to a joint statement by the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Defense.

Speculation has raged online, with some expressing concerns that the drones could be part of a nefarious plot by foreign agents or clandestine operations by the U.S. government.

Pentagon spokesperson Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said it’s unlikely the drones are engaged in intelligence gathering, given how loud and bright they are. And he repeated Tuesday that the drones being reported are not being operated by the Department of Defense. (“Mystery drones in New Jersey and the US: What we do and don’t know about the sightings,” AP News)

I will only say in my own speculative way that something strange is going on–and I mean strange in the fact that such a sophisticated government as ours is acting like Ned in the Third Reader in explaining or dealing with the situation.

They are treating us like members of Ned’s third-grade class, as a matter of fact.

Some believe the drones to have demonic dimension to their activity. I agree, but here’s how…

Most everything going on at this late prophetic hour, I’m convinced, has an element of demonic influence at its dark center. For example, it is possible that the minions, both human and demonic, within deep-state high places are likely trying different tactics to diffuse the incoming presidential administration’s intention to change things from the nefarious ways that cabal has been operating.

Also, the stage-setting for the coming Antichrist regime continues, as the Lord allows. Lucifer the fallen one, I’m convinced, knows the Rapture is very near. Like us, he doesn’t know when, but he, of all of God’s created beings, knows God cannot lie. Satan knows that DISAPPEARING event is about to occur.

Perhaps, just perhaps, all of the strangeness the New Jersey folks and others are seeing in the night skies is a foreshadowing–preparing for the fulfillment of the terrors that await those left behind in the wake of the Rapture of Christ’s Bride into Heaven.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. (Luke 21: 25-26)

You don’t want to be here when such terrors from the skies are assaulting left behind humanity. Here once again is how to go to the safety of the Lord Jesus when He calls believers to Himself in the Rapture.

That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10: 9-10)

Top Russian General Warns ‘Deep State’ Is Turning Africa into ‘Testing Ground’ for Medical Experiments

In a recent statement, Russia’s top general accused the United States of using Africa as a testing ground for medical experiments, including drug trials, and alleged that the U.S. is spreading pandemics through a network of secret biological laboratories.

These claims echo previous Russian claims which have called out U.S. activities abroad.

Russia has frequently accused the U.S. of operating clandestine Biolabs near its borders, particularly in former Soviet states like Ukraine and Georgia.

These allegations intensified during the COVID-19 pandemic, with Russian officials suggesting that U.S.-funded laboratories were involved in the creation or spread of the virus.

Major General Alexey Rtishchev, Deputy Chief of Russia’s Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops made the accusations in a video titled “After Ukraine, Now Africa: America Using Vulnerable…”

In a briefing, he claimed that the U.S. is expanding a clandestine network of military biological laboratories in Africa, alleging that these facilities pose undisclosed risks to host nations.

Ukraine:

During the ongoing conflict with Ukraine, Russian officials have alleged that the U.S. is funding biolabs in the country to develop biological weapons targeting Russia.

These claims were amplified in 2022 when the Russian Ministry of Defense released documents purporting to show evidence of such programs.

The U.S. and Ukraine have repeatedly denied these accusations, emphasizing that the labs are part of global health and safety initiatives.

Georgia:

The Lugar Center, a U.S.-funded public health research facility in Tbilisi, Georgia, has been a focal point of Russian allegations. Russian officials claim that the center is a front for developing biological weapons and conducting experiments on humans.

The Georgian government and international organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), have dismissed these claims, stating that the facility focuses on public health and disease prevention.

Caroline Glick: The battle for Jerusalem

The battle for Jerusalem

Hamas called its Oct. 7 invasion of Israel the “Al Aqsa Flood.” Its purpose was to pave the way for the destruction of Israel through the conquest of Jerusalem. Hezbollah’s plans for the invasion of the Galilee presented the coming battle as the battle for Jerusalem, not Haifa. Iran seeks Israel’s destruction to “liberate Jerusalem.”

This week, a clip of a speech by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan showed his supporters urging him to “take us to Jerusalem.” He responded: “Patience brings victory.” Erdoğan’s proxies that have taken over Syria have similarly stated that their goal is the conquest of Jerusalem.

Israel’s control over Samaria and Jerusalem is what secures its sovereignty in Jerusalem. If the Palestinians seize control over these areas, then the fall of Jerusalem becomes a foregone conclusion. The military, political and ideological battle for these areas is the battle for Jerusalem.

The inevitability of this battle was apparent to anyone listening to what the PA has been telling the Palestinians since the 1990s. Every single leader—from Yasser Arafat to Mahmoud Abbas to the last of the minor PA officials and terrorists—told us and continue to tell us that they are fighting for Jerusalem.

Israel’s ruling elites—from the IDF General Staff to Shin Bet leadership, from the media to the legal system to academia—have refused to admit this state of affairs.

The unbridled hostility of the European Union, the United Nations and other international actors towards Israel as a whole has been used by Israel’s leftist ruling class and Washington as a means to coerce successive governments and the unwilling public to maintain faith with the fiction that the PA is a stabilizing force, whether in Judea and Samaria or in the Gaza Strip.

Most of their efforts across the years were directed not against the Palestinians calling for the conquest of Jerusalem. Their chief foe (and the focus of their anger) has always been the Israelis—IDF officers, politicians, journalists, academics and regular citizens who have insisted on listening to the Palestinians and acting accordingly.

If the war is to end, Israel must win this battle in a manner that is not open to question. To win this war, Israel needs to dismantle not only Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, but the governing body that has cultivated and grown these forces. To win the battle for Jerusalem, Israel must dismantle the PA’s security forces and the notion that they are moderates, or that they aren’t fighting for Jerusalem.

The presence of advanced weapons and tens of thousands of men under arms supported by a society mobilized to use them to kill thousands of Israelis at the first opportunity has made the situation untenable. The government is well-advised to delay the reckoning until after Donald Trump becomes president in January and until after Halevi’s expected resignation in February. It is clear that the battle cannot be won so long as the IDF is led by a man who refuses to abandon the strategic conception that the PA is Israel’s partner, not its enemy.

In the past year and three months of war, the overwhelming sense has been that we are fighting for the survival not only of Israel but of the Jewish people. There is poetic justice, then, in the fact that the approaching battle for Jerusalem has come into view just as we celebrate the festival of Chanukah, the time when the Jews fought both their enemies and their internal demons to secure their religious freedom and restore Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem.
