New Hypersonic Weapons Could Change The Face Of Warfare

Here's How Hypersonic Weapons Could Completely Change the Face of Warfare

Imagine an enemy deciding to attack from 1,000 miles away. Now, imagine you have less than 15 minutes to react and may not even see their missile coming in the first place. This is the potential threat posed by so-called “hypersonic weapons,” which can fly as fast as a mile a second and low enough to evade many existing defenses.

Though there is much attention given to the expanding threat of ballistic missiles, especially from countries such as Iran and North Korea, American military officials are increasingly concerned about hypersonic weapons. Though the basic concept isn’t by any means new, technological advancements have made the notion of gliders and air-breathing vehicles flying at Mach 5 or faster significantly viable, with the United States, Russia, and China all actively experimenting with such designs.

“Hypersonic glide vehicles are threats both Russia and China are building now,” U.S. Air Force General John Hyten, in charge of U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM), told American lawmakers at a recent hearing, according to The Washington Examiner. “They are very, very significant in terms of our ability to see them and provide warning.”

To put things in comparison, a hypersonic missile flying at between five and 10 times the speed of sound is fast, but still just on par, if not slower than many ballistic missiles. Though missile powers are understandably tight lipped about what their intercontinental ballistic missiles can do, it is widely accepted that they can reach a point of impact more than 6,000 miles away in between 30 to 35 minutes. This equates to approximately three miles per second.

'Gain Of Function' Research And Covid

UK Daily Mail: Study Claims Coronavirus was Bioengineered

A bombshell study that is poised to be published claims to have proof that Chinese scientists bioengineered the coronavirus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic.

Furthermore, the analysis also shows that the Chinese researchers tried to reverse-engineer versions of the virus to make it look like it evolved naturally from bats.

British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen wrote they’ve had primary evidence “of retro-engineering in China” since last year, but were ignored by academics and major medical journals, The Daily Mail reported Saturday, citing the soon-to-be-published study.

Dalgleish is a London oncology professor known for breakthrough work on a vaccine for HIV. Sørensen is a virologist and chair of the pharmaceutical company Immunor, which developed a coronavirus vaccine candidate called Biovacc-19. Dalgleish also has a financial stake in that company.

The journal article is slated to be published in the next few days by Quarterly Review of Biophysics Discovery. The material was exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, which provided a snapshot of some of Dalgleish’s and Sørensen’s findings in its recently published review of the upcoming study.

Digging through archives of journals and databases, Dalgleish and Sørensen pieced together how Chinese scientists, some working in concert with American universities, allegedly built the tools to create the coronavirus.

Much of the work was centered around controversial ‘Gain of Function’ research – temporarily outlawed in the US under the Obama administration.

Gain of Function involves tweaking naturally occurring viruses to make them more infectious, so that they can replicate in human cells in a lab, allowing the virus’s potential effect on humans to be studied and better understood.

Dalgleish and Sørensen claim that scientists working on Gain of Function projects took a natural coronavirus ‘backbone’ found in Chinese cave bats and spliced onto it a new ‘spike’, turning it into the deadly and highly transmissible SARS-Cov-2.

One tell-tale sign of alleged manipulation the two men highlighted was a row of four amino acids they found on the SARS-Cov-2 spike.

The four-amino-acid sequence is unnatural because they are all positively charged and would not reside next to each other in a genetic sequence that arose naturally. The grouping also means that the protein sticks to human cells like a magnet.

Legal Insurrection readers may recall I cited other genetic markers, which were also hallmarks of man-made manipulation, in my review of a detailed analysis of the origins of the coronavirus by veteran science writer Nicolas Wade.

The World In 2030 According To WEF

No Privacy, No Property: The World in 2030 According to the WEF

The World Economic Forum (WEF) was founded fifty years ago. It has gained more and more prominence over the decades and has become one of the leading platforms of futuristic thinking and planning. As a meeting place of the global elite, the WEF brings together the leaders in business and politics along with a few selected intellectuals. The main thrust of the forum is global control. Free markets and individual choice do not stand as the top values, but state interventionism and collectivism. Individual liberty and private property are to disappear from this planet by 2030 according to the projections and scenarios coming from the World Economic Forum.

Individual liberty is at risk again. What may lie ahead was projected in November 2016 when the WEF published “8 Predictions for the World in 2030.” According to the WEF’s scenario, the world will become quite a different place from now because how people work and live will undergo a profound change. The scenario for the world in 2030 is more than just a forecast. It is a plan whose implementation has accelerated drastically since with the announcement of a pandemic and the consequent lockdowns.

According to the projections of the WEF’s “Global Future Councils,” private property and privacy will be abolished during the next decade. The coming expropriation would go further than even the communist demand to abolish the property of production goods but leave space for private possessions. The WEF projection says that consumer goods, too, would be no longer private property.

If the WEF projection should come true, people would have to rent and borrow their necessities from the state, which would be the sole proprietor of all goods. The supply of goods would be rationed in line with a social credit points system. Shopping in the traditional sense would disappear along with the private purchases of goods. Every personal move would be tracked electronically, and all production would be subject to the requirements of clean energy and a sustainable environment.

In a promotional video, the World Economic Forum summarizes the eight predictions in the following statements:

  1. People will own nothing. Goods are either free of charge or must be lent from the state.
  2. The United States will no longer be the leading superpower, but a handful of countries will dominate.
  3. Organs will not be transplanted but printed.
  4. Meat consumption will be minimized.
  5. Massive displacement of people will take place with billions of refugees.
  6. To limit the emission of carbon dioxide, a global price will be set at an exorbitant level.
  7. People can prepare to go to Mars and start a journey to find alien life.
  8. Western values will be tested to the breaking point..

Netanyahu On New Unity Government: 'The Fraud Of The Century'

Bennett: This will be a unity government. Netanyahu: “The fraud of the century”
Debka

As Yamina’s Naftali Bennett came ever closer on Sunday, May 30, to becoming Israel’s next prime minister, battle lines were drawn. Bennett challenged Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu – the prime minister he is committed to oust = over the soul of the rightwing sector of Israeli politics. The battle is liable to be long..

In a TV address on Sunday night, Bennett pitched his controversial decision to lead a new government in partnership with “my friend” opposition leader Yair Lapid. He explained that far from being a left-wing government, the new lineup would be weighted in favor of right-wing views and would, in fact, be a government of unity. The left-wing partners had made ideological concessions, he said, for the sake of a government that will not be against anyone but positive and unifying. To avoid a fifth election, all the partners had set aside their iews on some issues. The Yamina leader pledged that the new government would not abandon territory or separate it from {from sovereign Israel] and if a military operation was called for, it would go forward. According to Bennett, Netanyahu’s proposal for a three-way split of the premiership with himself and Gideon Saar had been rejected because no one trusted him to keep faith.

In his riposte, Netanyahu accused Bennett of the “biggest scam of the century.” His high flown, hollow phraseology could not conceal the real reason for jumping over to a left-wing government, which was in fact to seize his big chance of being prime minister for two years. Netanyahu questioned how this deeply fragmented, dissonant government could come together for profoundly controversial decisions, such as when a military action became necessary, when their views range from extreme pacifist to ultra-hawkish. This lineup is dangerous to Israel’s security and its future, Netanyahu said.

Yair Lapid’s mandate for forming a government runs out at midnight Wednesday. He believes that with Bennett he has put together a government coalition ready to present to the president for approval. He must then present it to the Knesset and seek majority endorsement. There is still time for Likud’s last-ditch maneuvers for upsetting the Lapid-Bennett applecart. Netanyahu said that setting up a right-wing government was still possible.  Both sides will be vying over who can pull the most rightwing support.
