International Man: Recently, all G20 countries signed an agreement that calls for instituting vaccine passports.

There was almost no coverage in the media.

What is really going on here?

Doug Casey: The idea was put forward at the G20, which is an informal club for officials from the 20 most powerful governments in the world. Klaus Schwab and Bill Gates were apparently special guests.

You’d think that the United Nations, an expensive and highly dysfunctional debating society for junketing sociopaths, would be enough. But the world’s really powerful people prefer to consort only with each other. They don’t need some irrelevant bureaucrats from Equatorial Guinea, the Central African Republic, or the other 193 UN member countries sticking their noses into the meetings.

You might think of the G20 as the semi-official operating arm of a de facto world government. Its nomenklatura are almost all members of the World Economic Forum, sharing the same philosophies and worldview. In essence, this G20 vaccine passport diktat means you’ll need not just a passport from your own national government but also one from some new bureaucracy that the G20 will set up.

Perhaps it will only be required on commercial airlines at first and enforced by them, conveniently exempting private jet travel. It’s good to remember that passports hardly even existed before WW I. If you could afford passage, you could go anywhere in the world you wanted. I believe we’ll soon find that you need several layers of documents to go anywhere, starting in 2023. Freedom to travel is rapidly going into reverse—on top of the fact the number and frequency of international flights has dropped greatly.

This is all a great leap forward for world government types. For many years various organizations and thought leaders have agitated for a world government, thinking that it would end wars and usher in the brotherhood of humanity. It’s a stupid and perverse notion, though. World government will simply move the problems of national government to a world level. Regrettably—at least for individualists and freedom lovers—there are no longer many places to hide from the kind of people who naturally get into government. They’re applauded by the mobs—err, democracies—as saviors.

Vaccine passports will exert pretty complete control over your ability to move your body across borders. They’ll also make it easy for governments to control where you move within their borders or even what shops you go to. If you’re not properly vaccinated, you may be considered not just politically unreliable, but a physical danger.

It’s quite perverse, even bizarre. Throughout history, the standard operating procedure (SOP) for a pandemic was to isolate the sick—not lockdown society as a whole. The very nature of a virus is to “go viral” anyway. Almost everybody winds up getting it until herd immunity is established. As time goes by, it becomes less virulent until it burns out, and life goes on with a minimum of inconvenience. Why has the normal functioning of society itself been upended over the relative triviality of COVID?

Is it possible that the same kind of people that were evil and stupid enough to start World War I and World War II could have something even more nefarious on their minds? For the good of the world, of course. I’m sure they can make the argument that a world with just a few million well-chosen overlords, plus a few score million delta and epsilon types to act as servants and serfs, would be much more sanitary than having to deal with the teeming masses that they have to manipulate today. The consistent words of Der Schwabenklaus and his muchacho de mantequilla Nuval Harari seem to imply just that. I wouldn’t put anything past these people. Or what they might put in mandatory vaccines to alter other people’s genes.

We’re living in increasingly dangerous and unstable times. The kind of sociopaths who propagated the Holocaust, the Holodomor, the Armenian Genocide, and hundreds of other similar events throughout history are now in a position to control not just a country or a region but the world.

 The technology for doing horrible things has compounded by an order of magnitude just in our lifetimes. But the moral tenor of the world seems to have gone backwards. For instance, the fastest-growing and most fanatical religion in the world isn’t Islam; it’s Wokeism. It doesn’t have a single holy book, partly because it’s based on feelings, as distinct from thought. It’s rather inchoate, but I’d describe Wokeism as a mélange of greenism, racism, socialism, envy, feminism, and anti-rationality. The antithesis of Western Civilization. It’s as if a large and growing part of humans have turned feral.

Well, a world vaccine passport is the most effective way of controlling people’s physical bodies, and central bank digital currencies are certainly the most effective way of controlling your assets and what you do with them.

If they successfully implement CBDCs, it means that any assets you buy or sell, and any income you earn, will go through CBDCs. You will have zero effective privacy. The Authorities will automatically know what you own, and they’ll be in a position to control your assets. Instantly and automatically.

They’ll be able to add CBDCs to the accounts of people who are favored and subtract or block access to the accounts of those who aren’t. If all dollars are digital, it will be very easy to implement. Everybody already has a Social Security account. Everybody has a government ID. Everybody has a smartphone. Soon everybody will have a CBDC account as well. If you lack any of these things, it will certainly ding your oncoming Social Credit Score.

I’ll go so far as to say that Central Bank Digital Currencies and digital “health passports” are the most dangerous threats to the freedom and independence of the average human being in modern history—perhaps in world history. They will control where you can go, what you can do, and what you can own. They’re both very big deals, and they’ll be daily facts of life before 2023 is over. It’s very disturbing that we don’t hear either of them discussed anywhere. They should be taken with the utmost seriousness and stopped.
