Last Sunday, US president-elect Donald Trump launched one of his now-trademark series of broadsides against the CIA, claiming that the latest series of leaks concerning his alleged misuse of a Moscow hotel suite previously occupied by president Barack Obama was a “complete fraud”.
Trump then compared the US intelligence regime to Nazi Germany in a tweet that called the leak, which alleged various colourful activities involving prostitutes, “fake news […] one last shot at me”.
The incoming president had already been warned against taking on the CIA by no less than Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who said on January 2 that Trump was being “really dumb” by taking on the CIA, adding that “you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you”.
Last Sunday, outgoing CIA director John Brennan told press that he took “great umbrage” at Trump’s words, noting that Trump, who has repeatedly stated his intention to improve ties between the US and Russia, “has to understand that absolving Russia of various actions that it's taken in the past number of years is a road that he, I think, needs to be very, very careful about moving down”.
Given that Trump’s plans regarding Russia have been opposed by Democrats, Republicans, and the intelligence community alike, his actions have been interpreted as an assault on what some term “the deep state,” or the collection of policymakers (both elected and not) that guide US policy in certain long-term directions.
According to Saxo Bank head of forex strategy John J Hardy, “the deep state” is shorthand for a force within Washington that is able to guide the US' ship of state over periods of time longer than presidential terms, and at times despite the stated intentions of elected officials.
If Trump has indeed embroiled himself in a conflict with this entity, then, what does that mean for his policy plans and for the post-Inauguration markets?
Every American who looks at the CIA objectively or in a balanced way and judges it by any number of criteria, such as moral, legal and pragmatic, should reach the conclusion that the CIA should be abolished. JFK wanted to break it into a million pieces. Trump is right to dismiss its intelligence reports about DNC hacking. The CIA war on Trump shows us immediately that the CIA is a rogue organization within the U.S. government and a severe threat to America.
The CIA is an internal threat to the rule of law and to the government that it supposedly serves. Senator Schumer acknowledges the CIA’s unbridled power, its subversive power, its power to undermine even a president, especially one that wishes to control or alter the organization, when he says:
“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you. For a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this.”
Schumer is saying that the CIA is so powerful that a president should not attempt to control it or else! The CIA is so powerful that elections do not matter when it comes to the CIA. The CIA stands alone. The Constitution that empowers the president as the Executive, the boss of government operations, does not matter. Basic American institutions and laws must bow before the threats that the CIA possesses. This is the assessment of a Senator beginning his 4th term and who is the highest ranking Democrat in the Senate in his post as minority leader.
The CIA is an organization that perpetually undermines traditional American values and moral values. It consistently kills innocent people. It continually causes instability and wars. It undermines other societies and our own. It interferes constantly in foreign nations, to the detriment of them and us. It is an unelected power that challenges elected officials. It favors abuses of power, including torture. Its actual value at generating usable intelligence is minimal, often wrong, often misleading, inaccurate and harmful as in the WMD that were never found in Iraq.
“The Association for Responsible Dissent estimates that by 1987, 6 million people had died as a result of CIA covert operations. Former State Department official William Blum correctly calls this an "American Holocaust."
William Blum has listed CIA interventions for us.
All that needs to be done to understand the enormity of CIA crimes against humanity is to associate each of these interventions with the deaths, injuries, disruption of lives and destruction that they have caused. The most recent of these are
- Afghanistan 1980s *
- Somalia 1993
- Yugoslavia 1999-2000 *
- Ecuador 2000 *
- Afghanistan 2001 *
- Venezuela 2002 *
- Iraq 2003 *
- Haiti 2004 *
- Somalia 2007 to present
- Honduras 2009
- Libya 2011 *
- Syria 2012
- Ukraine 2014 *
The asterisks indicate a case where the CIA overthrew a government.
As long as Trump is at war with the CIA, a war that the CIA launched against him, not that this matters much because Trump has every right to change the CIA and the CIA has no right to disobey or blacken his name, he should attack the CIA much more completely and thoroughly. It deserves to be attacked. He should abolish it altogether. For a bone to those who have fears that the republic will fall without the CIA, whatever small amount of residual value that is present in its intelligence operations can easily be retained or transferred to other agencies. The latter are already in profuse abundance in Washington. The fact is, however, that the republic is more likely to fall further than it already has in the presence of the CIA than in its absence.
Multiple studies are finding that trust in central governments and their institutions (including the establishment media) is at an all-time low around the world.
Regarding a recently released global survey titled Leader’s Report: The Future of Government Communications, the Guardian reports:
Weakened and distrusted central governments around the world have been incapable of responding to the way the internet and social media have empowered populist but previously fringe groups, a unique worldwide survey of government communication chiefs has found.
The survey spanning 40 countries is the first international review to reveal how deeply governments feel they are losing control and authority over communications.
…how deeply governments feel they are losing control…
Distrust of central governments and institutions of authority plus Internet as an alternative means of gathering information have combined and snowballed into an uprising of nationalism and populism, although the people attempting to run this dog and pony show like to mush those two concepts together with radicalization and extremism… because if you don’t trust your loving central government, you obviously must be a radical extremist.
The report also says people are “more apprehensive than perhaps at any time since the end of the cold war”. Really? Could that be because they are finally are more informed?
Meanwhile one of the world’s biggest marketing firms called Edelman came out with a survey that found trust in the global power structure including governments, non-governmental organizations, major corporations, and the mainstream media is at an all-time low across the board:
This is the first time in 17 years that Edelman has found trust decline in all four sectors surveyed. The findings were across the board, regardless of education level.
In addition, they determined that the burgeoning wealth gap and income inequality are linked to a lack of trust; the lower the income, the less trust. Look around. That makes sense.
“With the rise of populism, protectionism, and nativism, the world has come to a historic crossroad where one road leads to war, poverty, confrontation and domination while the other road leads to peace, development, cooperation and win-win solutions,” Jiang said.
Jiang believes globalism is the only road to peace, the same tripe the masses of the world have had crammed down our throats by leaders like Jinping since World War II and the creation of the United Nations.
It’s been over 70 years now… how is that working out?
But the angry masses are waking up, though.
Richard Edelman, the Edelman firm’s president and CEO, noted,
“The implications of the global trust crisis are deep and wide-ranging,” said Richard Edelman, the firm’s president and CEO. “It began with the Great Recession of 2008, but like the second and third waves of a tsunami, globalization and technological change have further weakened people’s trust in global institutions. The consequence is virulent populism and nationalism as the mass population has taken control away from the elites.“
Yeah, about that control… I’m thinking the elites are going to do whatever it takes to get that back…
Hungarian NGOs have long felt the heat under strongman Prime Minister Viktor Orban -- but they now fear that, emboldened by Donald Trump's victory, the right-wing premier will turn the screws even tighter.
First in line may be groups backed by Hungarian-born billionaire financier George Soros, whose foundation once funded the Oxford studies of a young Orban more than 25 years ago.
Last week the deputy head of Orban's ruling party Fidesz, in power since 2010, said that non-governmental organisations should be "cleaned out of here".
Szilard Nemeth said that criticism of government policies by "fake" civil organisations set up to "influence politics" by Soros and others was "impermissible".
The remarks triggered alarm among beleaguered NGOs, many of which -- in the absence of a credible political opposition -- have long attacked Orban's sweeping revamp of state institutions and hardline anti-immigration stance.
Mirroring pressure in Russia under President Vladimir Putin, scrutiny of foreign-funded NGOs has been cranked up since Orban was re-elected in 2014.
Dozens of groups supported by Norway were investigated by government auditors over alleged financial irregularities.
The 86-year-old Soros, whose Open Society Foundations (OSF) body has funded civil groups in Eastern Europe since the 1980s, is in the crosshairs of the new push.
"Soros has decided that he will be Viktor Orban's opponent and opposition in Hungarian politics... People have the right to know which organisations he's doing this through," Orban's chief-of-staff Janos Lazar said last week.
Hungarian officials have even accused Soros-backed NGOs of posing a national security risk during Europe's migration crisis by allegedly colluding with human-smugglers and "terrorists".
Any “broke-as-a-joke” radical leftist college student would happily snap up the offer to make quick cash by protesting something that hurts their feelings. And what better way to earn a few bucks while protesting the democratic election of Donald Trump?
One organization’s doing just that and the paycheck sure looks attractive.
The nefarious group, which claims to be the “largest private grassroots support organization in the United States,” posted an ad on the classifieds website Backpage.com less than a week ago.
“We pay people already politically motivated to fight for the things they believe. You were going to take action anyways, why not do so with us!” the ad says.
“We are currently seeking operatives to help send a strong message at upcoming inauguration protests.”
The short blurb also requires participants – whom they call “operatives” – to attend an in-person workshop and sign the organization’s “standard non-disclosure” agreement.
“As a Demand Protest operative, you will receive a monthly retainer of $2,500 on top of our standard per-event pay of $50/hr, as long as you participate in at least 6 events a year.”
“We are extremely flexible and can work with almost any existing work schedule. Full-time operatives receive health, vision and dental insurance for families, flexible vacations, and paid trainings. Travel expenses are always paid.”
“All operatives have access to our 24/7 phone helpdesk in addition to in-person support at events.” The phone number listed is a San Francisco number.
Interested individuals are then directed to a recruitment page on the Demand Protest website in order to apply.
While lame-duck CIA Director John Brennan warns incoming US President Donald Trump 'to watch what he says' and 'be careful on Russia', we take a look back at a June 2016 story from PJ Media in which they report that it was Brennan himself who put a stop to US law enforcements training on Islam and Jihad. Purging all mention of Islam and jihad from law enforcement counter-terror training materials back in 2011, PJ Media reports that it is Brennan himself (along with the entire Obama administration) who are largely responsible for the rise of ISIS and the state that America is in today.
With Brennan warning back then that ISIS had managed to amass “a large cadre of Western fighters” resulting in a very real 'trojan horse invasion' of America and an attempted overthrow of Europe, PJM reported that Brennan putting a stop to law enforcements investigations of Islamic terrorism was what has allowed their radical ideology to spread unchecked in America:"in large part because Brennan didn’t think it was worth teaching law enforcement about it."
And with Obama and Brennan allowing this full-scale trojan horse invasion of America to take place, seemingly allowed to flourish during Obama's disastrous 8 years here, we see once again why America is possible danger with such a radical clash of political and existential ideas about to take place.
Reported long ago by Jihad Watch that Brennan is a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and likely a convert to Islam, they also reported he was completely unqualified to be the leader of the CIA with Muslims declaring jihad against America. Why would Brennan purge Islam and Jihad from law enforcement training manuals unless he was attempting to 'enable' that jihad?
Also knowing they were largely responsible for arming the same ISIS terrorists who've declared jihad upon America and the West gives us a hint about who 'America's enemies within' are. From Hawaii Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard's website announcing her 'stop arming terrorists' bill to Congress:
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) introduced the Stop Arming Terrorists Act today. The legislation would prohibit the U.S. government from using American taxpayer dollars to provide funding, weapons, training, and intelligence support to groups like the Levant Front, Fursan al Ha and other allies of Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, al-Qaeda and ISIS, or to countries who are providing direct or indirect support to those same groups.
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said, “Under U.S. law it is illegal for any American to provide money or assistance to al-Qaeda, ISIS or other terrorist groups. If you or I gave money, weapons or support to al-Qaeda or ISIS, we would be thrown in jail. Yet the U.S. government has been violating this law for years, quietly supporting allies and partners of al-Qaeda, ISIL, Jabhat Fateh al Sham and other terrorist groups with money, weapons, and intelligence support, in their fight to overthrow the Syrian government.
“The CIA has also been funneling weapons and money through Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and others who provide direct and indirect support to groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda. This support has allowed al-Qaeda and their fellow terrorist organizations to establish strongholds throughout Syria, including in Aleppo."

Wow! Good article. Ugly, bloody, very shaming...
These are the folk our new President Elect is going up against. They aren't happy campers...and its going to get worse.
Calling on our whole family here to be filling the Knee Mail lanes to capacity praying for the safety and success of our new leaders.
Yea, they have their backs against the wall right now - its a dangerous scenario
The elites are not one to back down. This is clearly a deceptive tactic.
Let the people believe they are winning the battle, and then when they think they have achieved their long awaited victory, strike them where it will hurt and weaken the most.
We speak so much about "power to the people" because we fail to understand that only Our Lord will decide what comes upon our cities. And seeing our behavior falling to lower levels depravity, I find it hard to believe that Christ will allow the people, at least the majority, have their victory.
