Tehran Suspects Mossad In Fordo Blast

This comes from Times Of Israel

Tehran Suspects Mossad

There is plenty of intrigue around this situation - hopefully the truth will emerge soon:

Iran’s underground Fordo nuclear plant was indeed hit by an explosion sometime last week, and Iranian officials suspect the Mossad or CIA as responsible actors, the former Iranian intelligence officer who initially broke the story said Monday.
In an interview with Channel 2 News, Hamidreza Zakeri surmised, however, that an Iranian “internal action” could also have been at play.
Some 240 people were working at the plant at a depth of 90 meters at the time of the incident, according to Zakeri. He said that the two elevators normally available for transfer to the surface are now out of order and it is unknown if workers were hurt or killed in the explosion.
Channel 2′s Middle East analyst Ehud Yaari said that the IAEA would know within days if a blast had actually occurred at the plant. According to Yaari, the UN nuclear watchdog has cameras placed at Fordo, which it inspects every seven to 10 days.
The explosion reportedly occurred last Monday, so if Iran doesn’t let the IAEA inspectors into the facility in the next two or three days “we’ll know something happened,” he said.
The White House on Monday dismissed reports that there was a blast at the facility.
“We have no information to confirm the allegations in the report and we do not believe the report is credible,” press secretary Jay Carney said. “We don’t believe those are credible reports.”
Israeli intelligence officials confirmed that a major explosion had rocked an Iranian nuclear facility, The Times of London reportedThe British daily on Monday cited officials in Tel Aviv to the effect that the blast had occurred last week, as originally reported on the website wnd.com.
Iran is not believed to have evacuated the area surrounding the Fordo plant, according to the same Israeli sources, who said that an investigation into the blast was ongoing.
“We are still in the preliminary stages of understanding what happened and how significant it is,” one Israeli was quoted by the London Times as saying. He did not know if the explosion was “sabotage or accident” and refused to comment on rumors that Israeli aircraft were seen near Fordo at the time of the blast.
On Sunday, Israel’s Home Front Defense Minister Avi Dichter welcomed the report of the blast, saying, “Any explosion in Iran that doesn’t hurt people but hurts its assets is welcome.”

Could Syria's chemical weaponry be the fuse for the total destruction of Damascus? I m never right when I bet, but I'm leaning in that direction....Lord, come quickly for your children.

Thats an interesting thought - it could certainly be the triggering mechanism for the escalation there - leading to the path which creates the destruction of Damascus. Israel has already stated that they will consider the use of chemical weapons the same as they would nuclear weapons and respond in kind. I could definitely see such a scenario.

Could this possible "crippling" of the Fordo nuclear plant be the explanation of the minor, or "tag-a-long" role that Iran plays in the Ezekiel 38 -39 war?

Also, regarding Isaiah 17 and the destruction of Damascus - have just finished studying Genesis Ch. 18, where Abraham pleads with God not to destroy Sodom. Basically God tells Abraham that for the sake of "10" He would not destroy the city (after Abraham asked God if he would destroy the city if 50 righteous could be found, then 45, then, 40 etc.).

Using the same reasoning, surely there are at least 10 righteous (believers) in Damascus? According to God's unchanging character, I'm not sure how God could destroy Damascus before He takes the believers out? I know many Christians are fleeing, but there must be many left.

If we are also seeing the Ezekiel alliances start coalescing (which we are), then how close are we to the rapture of the church? To me it appears that unless Damascus is totally evacuated of believers, Isaiah 17 can't come to pass either. Just my 2 cents - I've been known to be wrong before.

Maranatha Lord Jesus!

Correction - I should have said "I'm not sure how God could allow Damascus to be destroyed" (not that He actually does the destroying - but maybe He does?)>

I can't help but think that the fordow explosion will give people a false sense of security. Why...or would Iran keep all its weapons grade uranium in one location? One would think that every conceivable scenario would have been planned for. That would lead me to believe that its nuclear material is in alternate locations.

According to Israeli media sources, the UN is reporting that they have seen no evidence of an explosion at the Fordow Nuclear Facility near Qom as the Israeli Intelligence community and others have been reporting. I did look at satellite images taken by Israeli Intel and it does show 4 images, 3 of which appear to show the aftermath of some type of explosion, above or below ground. I don't know what to believe though, it seems like there is a lot of misinformation surrounding this alleged event. Can anyone else shed light on this?
